Notification not reaching SAP inbox

Hello All,
I have created a new workflow. Everything is working fine in Developement System.
I transported this to Quality system.
Its showing workflow log is correct.But user is not receiving any notification in mail box.
Task is dialog step. Agent is General.
What can be the reason?

Quick test, in SWU3, use the WF System Verification. You can do as yourself and should be able to ad-hoc create / test as the user in question. This will do several things right out of the box. Test you agents, batch jobs, background / foreground steps, WF sub system is running correctly...
Also, run the ... darn. <forgot t-code>. The WF development testing t-code. Where you can do the tracing, testing agent assignment, etc en-mass. If you don't figure it out by moring, I will pop open an SAP cleint and forward along. It's cocktail hour! Tomorrow..

I think you need to check the Agent assignment on those tasks in each client. Client specific when making them General Task.

Notification Mail in SAP Inbox is not going to External Mail.

Hi
Notification Mail (Simple Mail and not workitem) triggered from workflow are reaching the sap inbox. I need to send this to Outlook also.
In workflow I am using 'send mail' step to and uisng sap userid. With this the mail reaches SAP INbox.
But This doesnot flow to Outlook. Here i am only reffering to mail and not workitem.
I know we need to configure job (RSWUWFML2) to send workitems to outlook. but do we need to do the same for sending simple mail to outlook?
I noticed if we send mail using email id it is flowing to outlook but if the mail is sent using userid from workflow its not flowing.
Do i need to use some program to send notification from sap inbox to outlook.
I checked RSWUWFML2 but this has no option to send only mail and doesnot send the mail from sapinbox to outlook.
Any help clue appreciated.

Hi,
As per my understanding... You would be using Mail step to send mail from your workflow, right?
If this is the case then in mail step-> recipient type would be "Organization Object"... so make it as "E-mail address" and and pass or bind mail id to it. Now you need to go to SOST and check that mail is displayed there or not...
and If your don't want to use Mail Step in your worklfow, then you can use Mail FM - SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send the mail... Here you need to pass mail id and the text to it and you can see in SOST.

Hi,
well you should ask your Lotus Notes administrator to setup an SMTP gateway on the LotusNotes side for you. I know that this is possible but I have not done it myself before. And since this is an SAP BusinessObjects forum I am not sure you will get an answer about this here.

IDOC is not reaching SAP from XI

Hi all,
The IDOC that I'm sending from XI is not reaching SAP.
I have tried all most all possibilies. In SXMB_MONI I'm able to see the IDOC gets created successfully (with no error).
I have re-checked the partner profile, SMQ1, Config etc.
Please help me to debug.

Check if you have a chequered flag on both sides of your message ibn SXMB_MONI?
Check the log of your TRFC in transaction SM58

Mail not in SAP inbox.

Hi Gurus,
I am new to workflow.. I have created a workflow from one of the examples of User Decision and SendMail.
After i recive the work item .. i have three options: Approve, reject and cancel.
when i click aprrove ior reject, i am supposed to recieve mail in my sap inbox..
But i am unable to see the same/get the same..
Can neone tell me if some settings need to be in place..?

Please check the setting in SWU3...
there Maintain Runtime Environment should be maraked as Green tick mark...
If not...please do the Perform Automatic customizing...by clicking the second icon at the top....
Then test your workflow....

Idocs not reaching SAP R3 from XI

Hi All,
I have a File to IDOC scenario, in which i need to process a text file of size 1 Mega Byte. The file from Leagacy reached XI and this has to create 12000 idocs in target R3 system. I can see the idocs(12000) in the IDOC Adapter but these idocs have not reached R3.
In SM58 I see an entry for this with the status "Transaction Executing". This entry is pending since 3 days. This always results in "Time exceeded out", and Iam manually executing it with F6 but still the status shows "Transaction executing".
There are no entries in SMQ1 & SMQ2
I want to push these idocs to R3.
Any suggestions on this will be helpful

RFX Not reached Approver Inbox for Approval

Hi Friends,
We are experiencing a very strange cases.
In RFX approval process RFX has not reached Approver. When I check in Workflow through tcode SWI1 I dont see any agent assigned to it.
Functional consultant says that he has already set the ROLE right and all future RFX will pickup correct Agent.
Now how can I process the same RFX(which has not reached the approver and does not allow us to change and re-publish again).
Either this RFX should reach the Approver or else it should allow me to re-publish it again(Currently RFX is non editable, Cant Publish)
This is happening in Productive system

Since RFx will have versions.. if this is the change version of RFx... then you can delete the version by calling the FM 'BBP_PD_BID_DB_DELETE' and BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT sequetially.. i am not suggesting this way.. this must be the worst case..

ASN not reached SAP R/3

Hi All,
ASN (Advance Shipment Notification) was sent from SUS system to R/3 ,in R/3 idoc is not getting posted and in WE02
we are getting Idoc error with status 51 " Document already being processed" . Please help me in solve this issue.

PCo Notification not reaching MII Transaction

Hi Friends,
I need some help to send Pco Notification messages successfully to MII. I have created a Pco Notification Agent and created the expression as below.

I tried to test the delivery manually using Notification Test Dialog. When I click on the Deliver button, destination Transaction at MII gets invoked successfully. But I do not get any value in the input parameter of the transaction. While creating the destination I have mentioned the input parameter correctly.
Also when click on View Sample button I get the below xml message

Hi Shaji,
The Expressions in a Notificaion Output are not evaluated against tag values until the Notification is triggered; using the Test Notification Delivery requires you to manually enter a value for each Output value to be delivered. If you want to test your notifications you will have to start the Agent Instance and have the Trigger fire the notification.
You can also set a Simulator Destination and have the Notification message delivered to a file in the Simulator Destination directory. This will give you a way to examine the Notification message contents without having to use MII to capture and save it.

Attachment in portal not getting displayed in SAP Inbox

Hi All.
While creating travel expense requests from Enterprise Portal, travelers create few attachments and then save the travel expense reports.
A workflow then gets triggered and these travel expense reports reach SAP Inboxes of the checkers [in the finance department].
The issue here is that these checkers do not have access to enterprise portal and they expect to see the attachments [that the traveler has created via the portal] via corresponding work items in their SAP Inboxes u2013 which currently is not happening!
I checked the trip transaction that got created [in the backend / in SAP] and found the u2018attachment listu2019 menu option in GOS being disabled [may be because there is not even one attachment that has come to the backend!]
What needs to be done so that the attachments can even be viewed from the backend / from SAP Inbox? Please suggest!

Hi,
You may have to check with the stylesheet, Check if the iVIews are using portal stylesheets from portal theme. If you want to use WD style sheets, The parameter for the web dynpro to use special theme "sap.useWebDynproStyleSheet" should be "true" (configuration adapter->webdynpro->sap.com->tcwddispwda) in visual admin. If you want to set this option for particular iViews only, then from the WD iView properties, set 'Supply Portal stylesheet' property to 'No'.

SAP Inbox to CRM Inbox...

Hi All,
I created a workflow for CRM Sales and i used SEND MAIL step type in the same to send a notification to a user in CRM Inbox.
But now i am able to see this notification in the SAP Inbox of the user but it is not getting appeared in the CRM Inbox.
So just want to confirm that is this possible to see emails in the CRM Inbox or only the executabe workitems and alerts can be sent in the same.
If anybody has used SEND MAIL step for a CRM Workflow, then please let me know how to check these mails in CRM Inbox.

If you have workitem/documents/notification in SBWP then all the thing must be availabe in CRM Box ( UWL ).
If it is not displaying there then please contact Portal Team to fix the problem.
The need to do some configuration or changes are required in XML code.

AAE- Sender ABAP Proxy to SOAP - Payload not reaching PI 7.10 SP4

Hi friends,
I am developeing interface from Solman to PI to 3rd party.
I configured the interface using ABAP stack and it worked fine. Then i changed the RFC destination used in SXMB_ADM to point to adapter engine so that i can use AAE.
I configured SOAP adapter. I wonder there is no option to select BE, EO or EOIO in PI7.30 when we select XI protocol.
I can see my payload in SXMB_MONI is solution manager but the payload is not reaching SAP PI although i am receiving the message and can see error also in Adapter.
Does we need to do anything different in PI configuration to achieve it ?

Hi Baskar,
I am on 7.30 so it should work. I created another interface and it works fine.
The only difference between my interface which is not working is "Java Mappping" and also i have custom adapter module on receiver channel.
I think the reason for failure is custom Java adapter as it is called before the mapping is executed(In AAE mapping is executed by receiver adapter chain and i configured module before that)
I think i need to redesign my adapter module to manipulate input payload of mapping rather than output payload.
