Notification number %ZZZZZZZZZZ1

Hi experts,
The problem is that the BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE fm does not return the NOTIF_NO in EXPORTING structure notifheader_export ? There is only number like that : %ZZZZZZZZZZ1, which could not be of course compareable with the QMEL-QMNUM value.
After commit the QMEL table does have the correct generated number ...
Is there any possibility to get/check the number above ?

BTW. In notif no. there should 'Z' replaced to '0', because there was no way to save the post ...

You have to call the Function module BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE after BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE and then call
BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.

I have a warning message while executing the query
'Diagnosis
Currently, it cannot be guaranteed that SIDs and master data exists for all characteristic attributes for the DataStore object to be read.
There is a restriction on a navigation attribute of the listed characteristic in the query. This filters all characteristic values of the master-data bearing characteristic for which there is not yet master data out of the result.
For performance reasons, this filtering is unavoidable.

In case of doubt, find other restirctions directly on the characteristic values of the characteristics contained in the DataStore object.

I tried supressing it in RSRT.. but unable to find the message.
I tried debugging and assigning enhancement points in FM BAL_LOG_MSG_READ.. As it is standard function module its not suggestable to do..
can we creat custom FM ?? will it be called if we write code to supress warning message??
Please let me know how to use BADI'S in order to supress the error message that appearing in query result?

Hi,
The warning is raised due to the following reasons:
- you have a selection in the filter of a navigation attribute
- in your DSO you do not use the option "SIDs Generation upon Activation"
If the option "SIDs Generation upon Activation" is not flagged,
you may get char.values for an Infoobject in the system not
having any SIDs. As a result you may see in the report less data as
expected.
For example we have Infoobject A with its Nav.attribute B
Infoobject A   Nav.attribute B
12             13   ->> has a SID in the X-table
11             10
9              13   ->> has no SID in the X-table
If you define a selection on B =13 in the query, you only get infoobject
A with key 12 displayed in the result, since only B =13 has a SID
in the relevant X-table.
The warning refers to this behaviour and cannot be avoided unless you:
   - flag the option in the ODS-settings
   - or remove the filter defined on 0MATERIAL__xxxx

Creation of an RFC to pass notification number from IOMS into SAP.

i have a requirment to such as:
Creation of an RFC to pass notification number from IOMS into SAP. The RFC containing notification number must access notification details via transaction IW23.
Creation of an RFC to pass notification field specific information from SAP to IOMS. Upon accessing the notification inside SAP the following field information must be passed back to IOMS.
can you please help me out with the RFC which would be much helpful to me.
when i give the RFC then through the RFC the IOMS will pass the NOTIFICATION NUMBER. Based on the notication number i have to pass the data that belongs to that perticlar NUMBER.

I dont know what is IOMS and what platform they are using.
If you want to access data from Non-SAP system or Insert from non SAP system, you need to develop remote enabled function modules, check for standard function modules.
Check package IWOC, for standard function modules.

How to get a service notification number for given serial number

Please, someones know how to get a service notification number based on serial number.
In our process the notification can be created as first step (IW51) or can be created starting from service order (IW32).

actually standard service request numbers are configured in spro->crm->transactions->Settings for Service Requests->Number Ranges. here they are maintain service request,incident,problem number ranges..
so when ever your creating any service request then that number range will appear in that object id.
you have to get that object id in your custom field get_method and based on that you have to change your number..
example:
current = me->bo.
current->get_property_as_string( EXPORTING iv_attr_name = 'OBJECTI_ID' RECEIVING rv_result = lv_id ).
here you will get object_id based on that you have to write your own logic to display custom value.
" write your custom logic to populate custom field. pass that custom field value into returning parameter.
value = custom_value.

Link between Material Document and Notification Number

Hi
In table QMEL we find the material document that is generated in correspond to Inspection Lot not for Notification((Goods Movement - Material Document).
Our problem is that we didn't find the material document(Goods Movement) generated after notification.
As we have done the cusmomization for posting the scrap in the notification and the Material Document is generated for this posting.
In QM03 we can view the Material Document generated.
Pls help!!!

In table VIQMEL if we enter QM notification No.300000062 we will find InspLot 40000000067 and Material Document - 5000000083 but not,
.. Goods Movement 49000030282008
.. Goods Movement 49000030302008
I need table where we can find these material documents w.r.t QM notification number.

If you have Order and Notification Integration in spro ->PM->Maintenance and Service Orders -->Funcations and settings for Order types -->Define Order and Notification Integration .. then i believe u should be getting Notification number also when order is created ..

Web Application processing Terminated......Notification Number BRAIN 278

Any want can help me to solve this issue, when I try web with execute http://hostname.xx.co.xx:8103/sap/bw/BEx
and pop up the new screen for login so I type the user ID and Password until display the Bex screen but unfortunately when i click the all icon like query we have a message "Web application processing terminated" and when i click give this message :
Diagnosis
The system had to terminate processing of the Web application.
The reason could be that the system was no longer able to find the Web application server session.
System response
Processing the navigation step is not possible.
Procedure
Call up the Web Application again.
Note: Use the start URL and not the URL that is currently displayed in the Web Browser.

First you read table QMEL with notification number and get AUFNR. Then go to AUFK and get AUART (order type).
Some thing like,
SELECT SINGLE aufnr INTO lv_aufnr FROM qmel WHERE qmnum EQ <your notification>.
IF sy-subrc EQ 0 AND NOT lv_aufnr IS INITIAL.
SELECT SINGLE auart INTO lv_auart FROM aufk WHERE aufnr EQ lv_aufnr.
ENDIF.

Can't get rid of MASSIVE mail notification number!

Hi all,
So recently - maybe this is an iOS 6 thing - everytime I search for an older email through Mail, it continues to look on the server (naturally), and when it finds mail that is relevant, it ups my mail notification number. Even when I get out of the search, the unread mail messages - well their notifications anyway - remain on my phone. There are pictures below to help explain:
So as you can see - even though my inbox says I have 83 messages, I actually only have 3. Any ideas how to get rid of that number?

I can't see your first photo above, but I can see the second.
You hypothesize that you show three messages there. I see at least nine, because there are at least four from Daryl, at least four from Kimberly, and at least one from Chris.
So to start, I suggest clicking on those right arrows to see what lies below the surface you've shown here.
Another thing to try is to reset your iPhone. Hold the home and on/off buttons together for 7 or 8 seconds till the Apple logo appears. See if that helps.

Problem with assigning Quotation number to notification number

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where when a Quotation number is created using IW52 transaction it should get assigned to notification number. The problem am facing is as below.
1) As you all know QMEL is the header table for Notification number, we have added a custom field ZZ_VBELN of type KDAUF to QMEL tabel.
2) When i try to create Quotation number without clicking on the SAVE button Quotation number is getting assigned to notification number. This Quotation number is saved in VBELN field of QMEL.
3) However when i click on SAVE button after creating Quotation number, the quotation number is moved to ZZ_VBELN field as a result Quotation number is not getting assigned to notification number.
My question why this is happening? In what way i should approach to solve this problem?

when you press the save button the strcture of notification number not there ,
when you press the save button that time find user exit and pass this values to standard strcture..
use this exit , it may be usefull

Can't get rid of iPad 2 update notification number.

A few days ago my update notification appeared (red circle with the numeral one) next to the App Store icon. When I click on "app store" and go to the update page there is nothing to update. Have an iPad 2. Any suggestions?

A couple of things taht you might consider:
Check your network or cellular connection to make sure it is good. RTry again when you can get a better connection.
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.
Download an app - any app such as a free one or one you have already purchased but deleted, for example.
