Notification Order Integration

Hi ALL
Regarding the order type PM01 in SAP ( Notification Order Integration). The cataloges ( damage and cause) are displayed in the order in the header tab in the bottom ( in the Damage subscreen).
Is it possible to display Object part catalog also in the front screen on IW31/IW32/IW33, along with other cataloges? As the client want to enter/see ALL the catalog entries at once inside the order, they don't want to go in to Notifiation to see the Object part catalog.

Hi Pete
The users won't create the notifications in IW21...They will directly create the Maintenance orders and record the Machine History/Cost etc................
But they want the cataloges and Breakdown time etc from Notification functionality inside the order.
So we have a order type with Notification integration. Notification is created in the background and users have the cataloges/ Breakdown time ...........in the Order.
The will not be tracking the Notifications created in the background along with order.
I hope this will make it clear

now when i dont save the notification tahat number gets reserved,when i create the notification again anew number is generated suppose 10000026.

Hi,
There is no standard or easy way to make use of the 'lost' number. The obvious way is to switch off the Early number allocation but as mentioned you will then not be able to use GOS functionality in create notification mode. If it is important to have sequential numbers then maybe early allocation can be switched off for some notification types (those that get automatically created with a order).
Only other option to make use of the skipped numbers would be to have a modification in the area where numbers are generated.

Set type problem in sales order integrated into loyalty management

Hi experts,
I try to implement the sales order integrated into loyalty management. As notes said, I should use the set type REWARD_PRO_LOY to assign to a hierarchy for loyalty. But when I use this set type in hierarchy, I found I can only assign it when I choose "service" for product type. Then I find in the "REWARD_PRO_LOY" set type, there is a switch tab. In the tab, there is only "services". I don't understand this tab means. I want to assign this set type to "materials" type. I tried to created a new set type with the same attributes, but it seemed not to work. Is anybody can give me some advice to solve the problem?

Hi Molly Xin,
If you refer to your first screen print, its very evident that the product types with which products be created using this set type includes both "Materials" and Services".
We have created similar scenario and were able to create products with product type "Materials".
Pease let me know if you have any issues while creating products with product type "Materials".

Hi,
Unfortunately, You will not be able to view the graphics within the Long text editor screen.Only Limited word functionality is available on these editors.
You will have to store these pictures separately as an attachment, through generic object services and then view them through that.

Create a notification order from IW22 versus IW28

When I create a notification order from a notification from IW28, I click the "Create Order" button and it takes me into IW34 where I can enter the Order Type.
When I go into the notification(IW22) from IW28 and click create order from IW22, the popup only shows me "PLanning plant" and "Main work center". When I continue I get an error stating that the order type is not maintained.
Is there somewhere in the IMG where I need to put order type on the popup to create a notification order from IW22?
Please let me know if this is confusing.

Hi Jayden,
if you use for every notification type exactely one order type, you should define this in IMG in step "Order Type by Notification Type (goto Maintenance and Service Processing / Maintenance and Service Notification / Notification Creation / Notification Types / Assign Notification Types to Order Types.
I've checked your problem in our system and all things runs well, from IW22 the same like IW28.
One question: If you called IW28 you get a list with notifications, right? Why do you open as first the notification and create than the order? The easy way is to create the order direct from list by mark the notification and click on button "Order" (with the blank paper) in Top of the screen.

Drop down in IW21 & IW31 for notification & order type

Hi all,
I have configured around 7 different types of notification & order copying the standard notification & order type.In IW21 & IW31,apart from this standard notification & order type, other standard types are also being come while selecting relevant one.I had copied this from standard types to keep it for future reference.Without deleting the standard types in IMG, how can I stop to get populated from drop down list? Is it possible by auth. control?

Hi Rajib,
When the user requests help (e.g. F4 or the icon), a dialog box appears. The 4th and 5th buttons control what is in the personal (user's) list and whether the personal or all values list is displayed, respectively. When the all values list is displayed, if the user selects a value (single-click not double-click) and presses the add to personal list button, the value is added to the user's personal list.
To display the personal list, press the 5th button, personal value list. The user's list will be displayed and the 4th button changes to delete from personal list. The 5th button also changes to display all values too.
Whichever list is last used for selecting a value will be displayed first when the user request value help again for that field. If the user is not seeing either of these buttons, either a configuration setting is missing, that field doesn't allow personal lists, or it could be an authorization issue. I have tested both IW21 and IW31 on my system and both allow personal lists.

I have a question on Oracle Project and Sales Order integration.
In the sales order form, there is a place to enter project and task information. What is the significance and how can we bring this information into Project itself?

1) Shipping functionality is supported for Sale Order, for Project Contracts and for Project Management (Deliverables). If you need to track shipping for a project, you will need to enable Project Manufacturing, no mater which of above three modules is implemented.
By the way, shipping integration for all those modules support the outbound deliverables, meanning items you need to ship from your own inventory facility to a customer or other third party. You mentioned a case for tracking items shipped from a third party vendor. You may need to look at the purchasing side and not the sale order for that.
2) If you implement Project Manufacturing, there is a process caleed Cost Collector, which interface the inventory and WIP transactions into PA Interface Table. From there you have to run the PRC: Transaction Import process to bring into Oracle Projects the expenditure Items.
3) I can explain the accounting, but I'm not sure which scenarios you will be implementing, and which module are you going to define the accounting. Please be more specific, and detail the release number your are implementing.

I found problem in notification order have unit of breakdown duration is 'H'.
Could you help to find the way for chang to 'Min' unit?
In Notification Order . Can see in 'Malfunction' tab.

CIF sales orders integration models

The activation of the sales orders integration model is taken tvery long time, although there is just one plant.
What would be a good recommendation to divide the integration models; would it work better filtering it
by group of products? How many products aprox. would be a good number by integration model?

Try using
Parallelized Selection in SAP R/3 and Parallelized Processing of Several Queues in APO while activating the integartion model.
Also check the settings defined in CFC3 for sales order.

Hello Raj and other experts, I need help creating a a maint order referencing notification. I am using method CREATETONOTIF to create Order refer notification. I am successful in creating order however bapi is creating two orders. One without reference to notification and second one with reference to notification. Please note i have to use create header object type and method 'Create' as well.
If i get rid of first method below it_methods - Object id header & Method create so i only execute method called CREATETONOTIF , i get a error on "Enter another operation number" from bapi . Your help would be greatly appreciated. I am stuck on this error now.

Hiding assembly field in notification & order

Hello;
I have given attribute for field 'Assembly' in notification & order as hidden. But still shows descritpion of assembly field. The only way possible to have that description there, it would be from 'Assembly' field in objects list in objects tab. But is it possible to enter Assmbly field in 'FIRST ROW' of the object list? If yes, how it can be done?

I am not sure what you want, but you should also set the assembly field hidden say for notifications in the reference object - transaction OIAO this would remove the assembly with description, you can do similar for orders.
In the object list if you want assembly field then you will have to sue table control and make the fields visible

in iw39 I am not getting details of notification like type & text details etc.input selection is equipment.

This is a common problem throughout SAP. The standard reports usually focus on one object such as an order or a notfication (but not both).
So what are your options:
- Develop a new ABAP report
- QuickView (TCode SQVI)
- ABAP Qurey
- Download the data to MS Excel/Access
- And probablby a few more too

for eg.
i am creating notification in iw51 with some 5 items. ven i am click the sales orders button which is @ iw51. what are the items found in notification is not copied to order, so i am again adding the items manually in order .
so what i need is , i need the user-exits r anytin to solve the problem
my probelm is
if i create notification with 5 items in IW51 transaction, ven i click the order button which is @ notification, all the items which is at notification (here v have 5 items in notification),that has to copy to order also..
again again, i dont want to add all the things in which is @ notification..
