Notification printing on creation -issues -reg

Hi,
to address the requirement of automatic notification printing on creation we have done some developments .
where we have to mention that for the transaction IW21 ...print shoudl be triggered on notification creation
we have copied the standard output type to Z and then assigned to the notification type M2
but when print is coming its coming default one only , its not picking the one which we customized with the required paper size
any inputs ?

our issue is different
1. we have defined one paer for pritnt as below through transcation code OID1
paper              description                    output programe              form
1031     Notification overview     RIPROV00             ZPM_NOTIF_PRINT
this is copying from the standard shop paper 1030
2. OID2 transaction
Document type   Paper             Selection
     M2                   1031             check box ticked
3.ODI3 transaction -user specific print control
   user           plant            palnner group      paper

here we have given output device defined by us
4. Now where i have to give that for teh transaction IW21 when notification is created and saved print should come ?
5 If i go to existing notification through IW23 and try to take print of it in the preview only standard 1020 , 1030 are coming for selection
why 1031 defined and assigned to M2 notification type is not coming there to pick ?
6. finally please let me know how to know the automatic print coming for the notification on creation picking which shop paper
1020/ 1030 /1031

hi guys,
i created a GL ACCOUNT "500001".
step 1: i created the PO and assigned the mentioned GL account ....it's working.
step 2 : I did the goods receipt it's working.
step 3 : When i try to to the invoice (MIRO) by using the created PO ....(which has GL ACCOUNT NO : 500001)...
I am getting the error : GL account not defined in chart of accounts..
please help.

Hi,
This problem might have occured as if you are creating Inter Company PO and taking the site (Plant) as a vendor. So when you do MIRO against this PO that site (as a vendor) requires to assign reconciliation A/C (T.code WB03) in tab of Vendor (Company code Data -> Account Management).
Once you assign this reconciliation A/C there, it will solve your problem. I am giving you one of the possibility of your error.This same problem we already faced as forgotten to assign Recon A/C here.

Session creation issues with DS3.2

We are using BODS 3.2 for development. We are aware that a newer version of DS has been released quite a long time ago but due to some reasons we are still using DS 3.2.
We are facing some session creation issues. We are using Teradata and Oracle as source and extracting\updating data using some SQLs in script tasks. SQLs are targeting huge amount of data. We executed a job and checked on the servers, sessions were created on the databases. Job kept on executing for long time and was not getting completed, there was no error also. After waiting so long, I checked on Database server and found that session was lost for these SQLs on Database servers. We are able to create a successful connection using Data Stores.
Please suggest something, Why the sessions are not getting lost on the database servers?.

There must be some common factor why both phones are having the same problem.
With the 10.2.1.537, the only problem I had was a few contacts merged and surnames were repeated.
I haven't noticed any difference with the latest upgrade.
Maybe a security wipe and restore contacts and email then one app at a time.

Mass Notification Printing IW58

Hi Experts,
When I use IW58 and go to the menu Notification->Print Notification to print in mass, is there a way to print without having to click on the print dialog for each notification selected for print? Does a custom print program need to be created in order to perform this function?

Notification Required if goods issue aganist the cost centre

Issue/Concern:-
          To reserve stock for a cost center & don't allow issue to another cost centre or notification should be sent to the user.
Description:-
Stock is reserved by creating reservation by MB21 for one cost centre e.g.1151-Production. We want to restrict this stock for the same Costcentre only.But when tried to issue stock to another cost center 11512-Maintanance,
              System should allow for goods issue of this stock to another cost center other than Prouction but notification sent to the Prouction CostCentre user who has done the reservation while issuing.
Kindly let me know if you require more clarifications on this.

10.6.7 - general pdf creation issues?

I wondered whether anyone else had run into this issue after updating to 10.6.7 when using pdfs created by Preview - perhaps related to the pdf/font issue.
If it is generally happening, then the 10.6.7 pdf-font issue has an even larger
impact than previously described:
1. Open a pdf document in Preview
2. Select a region and save to clipboard
3. Save as a new pdf file
4. Then try importing it as a "Picture" into any of the new Office 2011 apps: Word, PPT, etc.
This crashes my office 2011 apps (latest version, 14.02) But NOT any earlier version of Office (2008. etc.), which may not do as much pdf checking.
Before the 10.6.7 upgrade (ie, 10.6.6), this never happened with Office 2011.
Acrobat complains when opening the Preview-created pdfs about 'missing fonts', so I suspect some sort of pdf creation issue.
Any fixes (besides the previously suggested one of downgrading to 10.6.6)
If it's a real bug (not just local to my system), then it's a more far-reaching one than previously described.

That is wrong because it only involves OpenType Postscript fonts.
The only solution offered so far is to "downgrade by doing Archive & Install" and

You wouldn't have to do that either. That is the point of a Combo update. You only need to apply the one you want. It includes all of the previous updates.

Default Print Options when issuing output

Dear Experts:
I came across a issue regarding print options when issuing output from the billing document.
my first question is, this default print options seems to be coming from my output record as for print immediately option. where does Recipient come from?
my second question is, is it possible that I make the "print immediately" option default by user own settings in SU3?

The recipient normally is the person which is logged in, during the NAST-Entry is saved.
I know, there are several options available in the customizing, but I'm really not sure, so perhaps you can work through the official help located here:
Output Determination (SD-BF-OC) - SAP Library
The "print immediately" option cannot be set to the user-parameters via customizing. I think you have to use a userexit in the messaging to put some lines in there to make this work, but also please work through the official documentation.
If you doesn't find a solution, I think this space match better for such a question:

HP C4440 ALL -IN- ONE PRINTING AND INK ISSUES

I have an HP C4440 ALL-IN-ONE that seems to be having some printing and ink issues.
Ink keeps saying it is in backup mode
and its also saying it is not detected or intalled
this is not a new cartridge and has been used before without any problems.
i tried using all of the solutions hp gives you with no help.
all ink levels are detected and i am also using color ink cartridge.

Hi! I have same problem too. After printer (HP B110b) turn on and then off, all my Wi-Fi devices lose network. I should reboot my router every time after use printer =(((This problem only with Wi-Fi. All ethernet-connected devices woks OK.
My network: D-Link DIR-320 with firmware 1.21
Wi-Fi: hidden network with WPA/WPA2 and PSK mode.
Wi-Fi devices: netbook with WinXP SP3, netbook with Win7 Home Premium x32, Sony-PRS-T2 reader and Galaxy S3 phone (last 2 based on android).

Maintenance Work Center, user status, system s into notification print out.

I want to copy Maintenance Work Center(GEWRK), active user status and active system status to notification print out. I am not able to search from which table this field is coming. Can any body tell me the name of table ?

It may not work with print programs, but try putting the following code in your ABAP program:
* get notification statuses
data: lt_jest      type standard table of jest.
    call function 'STATUS_READ_MULTI'
      exporting
        all_in_buffer = 'X'
      importing
        status         = lt_jest.
If that fails, then try this:
data: lt_jsto_pre type table of jsto_pre with header line.
data: lt_jest      type standard table of jest.

       exporting

            objnr_tab   = lt_jsto_pre

Printing Second Page Issue

Dear all,
I have set the print default for a user to print two copies of AR invoice. When the print comes out, the first page is printed as original and second page as a copy which is fine. Unfortunately the second page is printed in a weird way. The text boxes which are shown in the Print Layout Designer are also printed
Any solution on that

Duplex Printing - Odd Page Issue

I'm using the following logic to avoid printing subsequent form's details on previous one, it seems to work fine in most of the cases but for some of the data input the logic is not working, I've placed some debug statements and found out that at the time of layout ready event pageCount%2 == 0 is yielding an even number so the logic is going into else block but when the form is rendered finally I'm not getting the total page count as even. I'm not sure asto why there is a mismatch between pagecount at the layOut ready event. Have any of you guys run into the same issue? I appreciate any suggestions.

Lightroom images that have saved to disc printing at store issues

Without having a printer of my own, can anyone help when printing images from lightroom, that we have collated onto a disk and taken to a local camera store. The images are so much darker than what is shown on computer. I have seen many threads about changing your own specific printer settings, my issue is when printing from one of those "do-it-yourself" machines..
Any help would be appreciated...

In general you need to use sRGB jpegs for those, so make sure you export to that. Anything else will usually end you up with weird colors as these things in general do not color manage. Secondly, make sure you calibrate your display correctly. Generally you should use a hardware calibrator for that. The exact type is less important than that you use one. Lastly, your display needs to not be set too brightly. Some calibrators include a facility to calibrate your display to a correct brightness. Most displays need to be around 2/3 of the max brightness. Very last, make sure you turn off any autocorrect features on the kiosk thingie.

Site Creation Issue.

We had a user report a site creation issue with their site. They had been able to create sites with no problem up to this point. But now, when attempting to crate a site they get an error "User can't be found". But if they create a blank site
I or a blank team workspace. The site creates without incident. Any idea? The permissions appear to be correct but they can't create anything but blank sites without receiving the error. Maybe check permissions to webparts and templates (Do you know where

Did you mean create site collections in the CA?
Did the users have admin permission or other permission? You can use the admin account to check whether it works.
To narrow down the issue, you can use other web application to check whether it works.
Maybe the web application had been corrupted.
You can also check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS

Hi,
You cannot just define a smartform in OID1. You need to create a custom version of the print program, then from this print program call your smartform.
