Notification updation

Dear Experts,
I am creating a custom workflow with 4 approval levels. When workitem comes to 1st level approver I sent a notification mail to inform initiator that wf is in 1st level. Now I am asked to send a mail to initiator such that when workflow goes to approver level 2,3,4 I need to update the same mail informing the current workflow level. I am not supposed to send notification mail for each level.
Is it possible to send a single mail and update it for each level.

Let me tell my requirement clearly. Employee fills inputs in a webdynpro java form in portal and clicks submit. This will trigger a workflow. It has 4 approval levels. Once it triggers employee (initiator) will get a workitem in his inbox. Assume first level approver approves it. So that workitem in employee UWL must be updated with information as 1st level approved. Similarly if 2nd level approves that very same workitem has to modified that 2nd level has approved. Similarly for other levels. I know notification mails can be sent after each level approval to initiator. But I am asked to keep editing a single workitem after each approval.
Try creating another local workflow to send a dummy workitem to the initiator's workflow inbox and kill and update it with every level.
Can you please tell me how I should do it.
This is Ideal for very less volume
I have only 4 approval levels. So volume is less only.

You're in luck. Windows 7 updates can involve quite a few files to download and install, but as of yesterday, full support of Windows 7 is over. You'll still get some security updates but feature updates are finished. That should ease the problem. Of course, you can turn off automatic updates completely, as long as you're not concerned about security issues.

App Store notifies updates for not installed app?

Hello,
I keep getting an update notification for an app not installed (anymore? I can't rememeber if I ever installed it) on my MBP.
Is there a way to hide/override it?
I already tried cleaning App Store cache but nothing changed.
Any clue?

You can "hide" a purchased item by hovering over its listing in the "Purchases" tab. A small "x" will appear, and if you click on it the item will disappear from the list:
You still are entitled to it, though, and can "unhide" it later by going to
Store Menu > View My Account

QM02 - notifications - update document flow for new action box item

I have added a new action box item on qm02 (notifications). I am created a PO and a delivery. I wish to update the document flow to include these new records.
I am trying to work with function qmlr_create_document_flow without success.
Does anyone know how to do this?

1) Yes, I was also thinking that 2 preceding docs may not be possible in a doc flow, and had also indicated the same to my customer. However, wanted to be 100% sure that it cannot be done.
2) I cannot go ahead with a Service/Release Order. The requirement is to create a Return Order or a Credit Memo Request (CR) directly from the Service Notification and any other order is not in scope.
I was thinking of something as below:
The Service Notification header is linked to Return Order header only, there are no links at the item level. Is it a feasible solution to have a doc flow between invoice items & return order items, since return order items are not yet linked?....I am just thinking of different things to find a solution!

Problem with Notification update from backend (local notif)

Hi all
I created a Local notification and uploaded the same to the server. I found the same notification in the backend and made some changes to it and then tried to sync the data to the MAM application but I got the following error message
Exception while proccessing method SMARTSYNC : java.lang.RuntimeException: Error while Smart Sync inbound processing: java.lang.IllegalStateException: State NEW_INSYNC does not allow this transition: srvMod
Any solution or suggestion would be helpful

Hi Gopi,
Looks like a problem in the middleware. Can you check in merep_mon what the server is sending to the client for that particular notification?
It should ideally be a success message along with a Replace.
But I fear that it may be sending a modify message. Can you confirm this?
Also the latest SP is SP18 do you have any plans to upgrade?

Can push notifications update themselves?

I love the new feature in iOS5 to be able to see notifications on my lock screen, this is something I've been waiting for for a long time.
However, I'm disappointed with the implementation. Push works very unreliably with my iCloud account on my 4S, which is a disappointment. But when new messages do get pushed to the phone they also appear as notifications on the lock screen. So far, so good. But since I'm on my Mac all day long, I almost always end up checking and replying to emails on my Mac. When I pick up my iPhone to leave my desk, what I have is a lock screen full of emails that arrived and were already deleted hours ago. How does this make ANY sense?
Perhaps it's related to the problems I have with push: emails seem to be pushed to the iPhone when the unread count is 0, but at some point they stop rolling in, and the unread count stops reflecting the real unread count as per my Mac. So if I have 5 new emails showing on my iPhone, and I go to my Mac to check and delete them, they never go away from the iPhone and new mail stops being pushed.
I'm using, of course, iCloud for everything: contacts, calendars, mail, etc.
Push was unreliable for my on my iPhone ever since it was introduced. Now that lock screen notifications follow the same pattern, I feel really let down.

We do the same and track push via Omniture. You have to have an analytics account and make sure the app is linked and has it's own dashboard.

BAPI to update ALNZN while creation of Service Notification

Hi Folks,
I want to update ALNZN ( condition after malfunction in system condition tab of IW22/IW52) using BAPI/FM while NOTIFICATION CREATION.
I tried with most bapi's mentioned below but all of these dont have field for system condition tab.

Auto update flash player for standard user without notification

Hello, I hope I don't ask an already answered question, I've searched around without finding precisely what I'm looking for, but if I've missed something please point me in the right direction.
I'd like to know if there is a way for flash player to be automatically updated while a standard user is connected (no admin rights) and without any notifications.
So far I configured the mms.cfg file (in c:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash for a win7 64bit) with those settings:
AutoUpdateDisable=0
AutoUpdateInterval=0
SilentAutoUpdateEnable=1
SilentAutoUpdateVerboseLogging=1
(the autoUpdateInterval=0 is for testing, I plan to put a 7days delay
I plan to update all our clients with the latest version of flash player via sccm and add this file during the process.
Then I hope that I won't have to push any other updates (until I guess version 11.5 or maybe even 12...)
Will those settings will work as I intended?
As we'll use 32 bits browsers do I need to put this file also in c$\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash ?
If it wont work, is it doable?

By pointing the Background Updater to an internal server, yes.
Are those settings will work as I intended?
The AutoUpdateInterval setting in the mms.cfg has no effect on the Background Updater. AutoUpdateInterval can only be used for the notification updater. If you're setting up background updates from an internal server, this property is best dropped from the mms.cfg to avoid confusion. The other settings will work as expected. Once you have your clients set up and tested, I also recommend dropping SilentAutoUpdateVerboseLogging, since this will reduce the size of the log file.

There is only one location for the mms.cfg. The same file is used for 32-bit and 64-bit browsers. From the administration guide, page 22:

Assuming a default Windows installation, Flash Player looks for the mms.cfg file in the following system directories:
•32-bit Windows - %WINDIR%\System32\Macromed\Flash
•64-bit Windows - %WINDIR%\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash
Note: The %WINDIR% location represents the Windows system directory, such as C:\WINDOWS.

Universal Apps and Push Notifications (Question on both Store and Phone app)

I have a Universal App and trying to implement notifications. I have an Azure Notification Hub and the code in the app.xaml.cs (shared) file that is creating the channel and binding to my notification hub. This all works great for the Windows Store app.
However, I don't receive any notifications on the Phone app (running in the emulator). I am wondering if this is because the code to create the PushNotificationChannel is only registering once (the Store app) and has the same URI as the phone app. This line
of code is what I am referring to:
var channel = await PushNotificationChannelManager.CreatePushNotificationChannelForApplicationAsync();
Since this is by application, and I am essentially running the same app twice on the same machine, via the phone emulator, is only one URI being generated for this?

When you created the push notifications in the Azure, you chose the code fr Windows Store, not Windows Phone. as you mentioned you having a universal apps.
Hint: Did you enabled push notifications for local testing ?

The 6.1.4 update came after the iPhone 5 was launched because it's only purpose was to fix a problem that occurred only on the iPhone 5. There is no need for any other model to have that update.

This code is working very well on my dev environment but in the production it's not working :/

Three things come to mind:
1. I think you're implying when you travel away from your home to a more populated area, the cellular coverage improves and your iPhone works well. Is that right?
2. Do you have a case or some other obstruction over or near your iPhone's antenna? Have you tried moving or removing any possible obstructions near the antenna?
3. AT&T has a (free) app in the App Store called "Mark the Spot". You can use this app to report voice and/or data issues to AT&T, as well as keep up on progress they may be making in improving coverage in your area. Your trouble reports are geotagged (if you wish).

Specific order not updated in MI

Hi,
I have a PM order for which no update (in description, operation or anything else...) that we do in R/3 PM can reach middleware. It's linked notification updates reach MI with no problem. All other orders update work just fine as well. Only this given order is not updated in MI.
I thought that it was F.M. MAM30_001_CHANGE that would be called to update it in middleware, but it is not used. What F.M. is used to update order in middeware?
Is there anybody that could give me a hint about my issue?

This may be due to schedule line category in the sales order ->item level.
In t.code VA03, enter the sales order number. Then highlight line item and click on schedule lines for items button on the bottom. Find the schedule line category derived for the item under schedule line category column.
Then go to t.code VOV6. Select the schedule line that you found in the sales order and click on details button. Under transaction flow, you will find Req/Assembly field, which may NOT be checked in your case. If this field is not checked, then the requirement will not be passed to MRP.
If this is checked and still you dont see the details in MD04, then run report SDRQCR21 in SA38 and check again.
