Notification view?

Hi all who read this :-) ,
My environment is Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0.
I need a query or view for the Notification workflow.
I know the standard table is wf_notifications and the table wf_messages contain the notification messages.
I need figure out which other workflows that have created a notification workflow.
Example:
I have a workflow called "Customer Move" which is used to change the address, phonenumber, zipcode e.t.c. for a customer. Let's say that I'm an Internet provider, so I have to figure out if the new address has a phone-line. If not, the "Customer Move" workflow creates a Notification workflow which sends a message to the servicecenter for human interaction.
So, How can I see that it is the "Customer Move" workflow that have created this Notification workflow?
Unfornunately I have many workflows that can create a notification workflow.
I am not sure how the wf tables are connected together. I can see that the wf_item_activity_statuses table has a column named notification_id, so it is possible to join this with the wf_notification and wf_activity_transitions tables on the notification_id's and thereby follow the wf steps.
I hope my question is clear enough :-)
Regards Jesper

I only see one notification setting for the app that is available by going to options and then scroll down till you see notifications and make sure it is still checked.
On another note, if I log out of the facebook app I always have to manually check for any notifications when I first log in. After that it works as it is supposed to until I log out again.

  • Does anyone know if there is a setting for calendar events in notification view

It feels like that the notification view for for "at-a-glance" calendar views have regressed from ios6 to ios7 in terms of usability and convenience.
The notification center ALWAYS shows the next 6 hours of your calendar, even when it is empty and there is no way to preview individual events/appointments beyond the 6 hours.  This is a waste of space and scrolling.  I know how many hours there are in a day and the empty calendar really isn't useful when I have other appointments for that day that would be much more useful to preview.
I just don't understand why Apple thought it would be a good idea to take up the entire "Today" screen with six hours of empty calendar entries ALL THE TIME.   With ios6 I could quickly get a glimpse of all the appointments I have for tomorrow all in one place from the notification center, before I go to bed.  With ios7 I have to actually open the calendar app.  This is a step backwards.
Things like this really makes the ios7 release seem premature and unfinished.  Minor UI issues I can live with, but this is actually making my smartphone dumber.
    For example: http://thingswrongwithios7.wordpress.com/2013/06/13/calendar-app/#attachment_7
And also All day appointments are no longer visible from the notification drop down.
    See: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1594792

I had the same issue last year.  it turned out to be my Bluetooth earpiece reached the end of its battery life.
When I got a replacement the problem went away.

    Hi,

  • Extended Notifications - Workflow Inbox link not working

    Hi,
I have configured SWNCONFIG to send Extended Notifications. E-mails are being sent but the link for Workflow Inbox (configured in Subscription Settings - SHOW_INBOX_AS = LINK1) only takes to the enterprise portal home page not the inbox. I have search to have this fixed but with no luck. Does anyone know how to solve this?
    Thanks in advance.

I have follow the configuration in this links:
Configuring Notifications (View Cluster) (SAP Library - Embedded Processes (SAP Business Workflow))
Subscription (SAP Library - Embedded Processes (SAP Business Workflow))
It does not refer any specific link to the inbox. Only to activate the service: default_host  → sap  → bc  → workflow → shortcut
And to use SHOW_INBOX_AS = LINK1 and define the portal url in parameter WG_HOST in General Settings. In addition the url while navigating in the portal is always the same (e.g either on the home page or in the workflow inbox), so I guess its the system job to re-direct to the Workflow Inbox, but this does not seem to be happening for some reason.

  • Notifications aren't working for Mail on iPad mini

Notifications is working fine on my new iPad mini, except for Mail.  Mail on my iPhone 4 running iOS 6 works great but not on my new iPad mini running iOS 7.
When an email comes in on my iPhone while it is OFF I get notified with an Alert.  On my iPad I get nothing.  On my iPhone while I'm using an app I get an email Alert pop up that either has to be Read or DISMISSed.  On my iPad I get nothing.  On my iPhone the Badge App Icon works to show the number of Unread messages as soon as I turn it on and look at the Home Screen.  On the iPad I get nothing until I open Mail and wait for the mail to come in.  THEN the Alerts start popping up and the Badge App Icon starts working.
On both devices I have three POP email accounts with my ISP, and one IMAP Gmail account.  I've compared Notification settings between the two devices and they are the same.  Settings > Notification Center > Notification View is ON (Green).  In Mail each account is set ON for Alerts, Badge App Icon, Show in Notification Center, Show on Lock Screen, and Show Preview.  In "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" I have Fetch New Data to Push and the next screen I have Push ON and each account set to Fetch.
I got the iPad mini a couple of days ago and was running iOS 6.  After I added my email accounts I noticed that I was getting email Alerts on my iPhone but not on the iPad.  I checked all the settings and finally I upgraded yesterday to iOS 7 thinking that would fix it the problem.  It didn't.
I've tried rebooting (holding the On/Off button until I get the "Slide to power off"), and even did a Reset All Settings.  Those didn't work either.
    What am I missing?

While waiting for someone to offer help I continued with my own troubleshooting, feeble as that may have been.
I thought I had done the basic stuff already with no success, like rebooting and resetting, so I tried deleting accounts, one at a time, to see if maybe notifications were stuck in one and affecting the others.  That didn't work.
After deleting all accounts, I waited an hour or so, and added one account back, starting with my Gmail account.  Notifications began working!  I added another account and that one worked also.
Finally, with all accounts back in the iPad notifications are working like they should!

  • Why is the notification center different on ipad mini and iPhone?

For instance.. Weather shows in the notification center on ipad mini, and not on iPhone. Also, calculator shows on iPhone control center and not ipad mini. I can understand why the calculator doesn't display as an option for the ipad mini as the calculator isn't installed by default (for whatever reason), but why would weather show up on the ipad mini (where no native app exists), but not on the iPhone?

    Yes and Yes.
When I navigate to Notification Center in Settings from an iPhone 4:
    Notifications view - on
    Today view - on
    Today summary - on
    Calendar day view - off
    Reminders - on
    Stocks - off
    Tomorrow summary - off
    Sort by Time
The only apps I don't include are third party and have nothing to do with weather.
Usually when I swipe down on the Today view it's only giving me the date.
Thanks for taking the time to help me!

  • Hide/Show Today View from Lock Screen in iOS 8

In iOS 7 I had customized for the Today View not to show from the lock screen. In iOS 7 the Setting was simple, Go to Settings > Notification Center > Turn Off "Today View" for the lock screen.
I updated to iOS 8 & the Today view is much more useful now so I want to bring it back on the lock screen but I can not! Going to Settings > Notifications, only shows the notifications but not a way to toggle on/off Today view.
WHERE CAN I CHOOSE TO HIDE/SHOW THE TODAY VIEW FROM THE LOCK SCREEN IN IOS 8?

    Hi there original_p,
It looks like this setting has moved. Take a look at the User Guide for more information.
    Notification Center - iPhone
Choose whether to show Today and Notifications View on a locked screen. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode (iPhone models with Touch ID) or Settings > Passcode (other models), then choose whether to allow access when locked.

  • IPhone Notification Centre not showing Temp?

I'm having trouble getting the temperature to display in my iPhone's Notification Centre. It does say "Mostly cloudy conditions with low visibility," but no temperature info like on my iPad. I have added a pic to show the comparison.
    Notes:
    • iPhone 5S iOS 7.1.2
    • Location Services is ON and Weather in Locations Services is ON
    • Notification View, Today View, Today Summary are all ON
    • WiFi and LTE are working so the iPhone should be able to update its weather info from Yahoo
    Troubleshooting:
    • Tried turing off the phone and restarting, but no success
    • Tried restoring from iTunes backup, but no success
    • Tried Resetting All Settings, but no success
Any idea how to resolve this?

I have my iPhone setup the same as yours:
    • Location Services is ON and Weather in Locations Services is ON
    • Notification View, Today View, Today Summary are all ON
The only difference is in the iPhone model which doesn't make any difference.  Mine works just fine.  One question: Do you have background app refresh enabled for weather?

I am having an issue with family sharing.  I am the organizer of my family share.  I have invited all my family who all have their own apple id's and all of them are logged in to itunes and icloud on their devices using their own id's. I have an ipad air and an iphone 5s - both are signed in to icloud with my apple id.  I get family notifications to my ipad only - never to my iphone which is what I have on me the most.  I have tried logging out and logging back in, restarting my iphone, logging out of my ipad and nothing works.  All notifications appear on my ipad - but they never appear on my phone.  No ask to buy or anything.  I have gone through setting by setting to make sure everything is identical.
Any help would be appreciated.  I have see the same question in a few places with no resolution.

    Hi dannibecky0762,
Happy New Year!  You can change the specific ways notifications are handled for each app in the Settings app on your iPhone.  The resources below explain how to do this:
Understanding notifications on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201925
Understanding notifications on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Notifications provide alerts and related information for iOS apps. You can view notifications in the Notification Center. This article provides an overview of notifications and some simple troubleshooting steps.
iOS apps can provide three types of notifications:
    Sounds: An audible alert plays.
Alerts/Banners: An alert or banner appears on the screen.
Badges: An image or number appears on the application icon.
You can access Notification Center from any screen, including the Lock screen. Just swipe down from the top of the screen.
You can tap a notification in the Lock screen to open the related application.
By default Notification Center will show you Today view, which gives you a summary of what you need to know about for the day and a peek at tomorrow. The new All and Missed views let you see all your alerts or just those you haven't addressed in the last 24 hours. Swipe right while on Today view to see the All view. Swipe right while on All view to see Missed view.
You can view which apps provide notifications and adjust notification settings using Settings > Notification Center. For additional information, refer to the user guide for your device.
To see recently updated apps, go to the All view and scroll down to App Store.Get help
Push notifications require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection.
Notifications use Wi-Fi only when a cellular connection is unavailable. Firewalls and proxy servers may affect your ability to receive notifications. For more information, see Unable to use Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
If you're not receiving notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
Verify that the app supports notifications.
After installing an app or restoring a backup to a different iOS device, open the app to begin receiving notifications. If the app requires entering or logging in to an account, you will need to do this before receiving notifications.
Check Settings > Notification Center to ensure that the app is configured for notifications. If notifications do not appear in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.

If you have an app that could send frequent notifications (for example, Mail with high-traffic email accounts, Twitter apps, and so on), your iOS device could wake frequently to display the notification (and affect battery life). You can disable Show on Lock Screen for a particular app in Settings > Notification Center > <app name>.
You can customize what you see on your Today view. Go to Settings > Notification Center and using the switches, select which options your would like to show in Today view. You can choose to sort your notifications manually or by time. If you have chosen to sort manually, tap edit in the upper right corner, and drag your notifications to your desired order using  .

    Notification Center - iPhone
    http://help.apple.com/iphone/8/#/iph6534c01bc
    Notification Center
Notification Center collects your notifications in one place, so you can review them whenever you’re ready. View details about your day—such as the weather forecast, appointments, birthdays, stock quotes, and even a quick summary of what’s coming up tomorrow. Tap the Notifications tab to review all your alerts.
Open Notification Center. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen.
Set Today options. To choose what information appears, tap the Edit key at the end of your information on the Today tab. Tap + or — to add or remove information. To arrange the order of your information, touch , then drag it to a new position.
Set notification options. Go to Settings > Notifications. Tap an app to set its notification options. For example, choose to view a notification from the Lock screen. You can also tap Edit to arrange the order of app notifications. Touch , then drag it to a new position.
Note: To include traffic conditions for your commute in the Today tab, make sure Frequent Locations is turned on in Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations.
Get government alerts. In some areas, you can turn on alerts in the Government Alerts list. Go to Settings > Notifications.
For example, in the United States, iPhone can receive presidential alerts, and you can turn AMBER and Emergency Alerts (which includes both Severe and Extreme Imminent Threat alerts) on or off (they’re on by default). In Japan, iPhone can receive Emergency Earthquake Alerts from the Japan Meteorological Agency. Government alerts vary by carrier and iPhone model, and may not work under all conditions.
Choose whether to show Today and Notifications View on a locked screen. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode (iPhone models with Touch ID) or Settings > Passcode (other models), then choose whether to allow access when locked.
Close Notification Center. Swipe up, or press the Home button.
    Enjoy the holidays!

  • Improved Notifications

Dear Spotify teamI'm a heavy user on both Desktop (Windows) and mobile (Android).I've gather quite an amount of artists and playlists I follow (it says 585 in my profile). The thing that annoys me a bit is the way the notification area works. Some issues:It displays only 3 entries, scrolling needed for moreThe display area is not resizableIt sometimes doesn't mark them as read (I end up with 50+ notifications sometimes oh which only maybe 15 are new and the others are waaaaayyy down in the list)There's no easy way to distinguish the playlist and artist, etc notifications. I have to actually read which is cumbersome. My main use case:"I want a notification if one of my favorite/tracked artists releases a new song/album." The notification area doesn't really solve this in a convenient way.(I don't care too much about the changes in playlists etc.. It's nice to know but not really necessary.) Some ideas:Notification filter
Let me filter the notification for artists, friends, playlists (etc.)
A simple dropdown next to the title of the open notification area is sufficient (e.g. using the same icons for the filters as in the rest of the UI: artist - "microphone icon", etc.). "Mark bellow as read"
If I right-click a notification I can mark all the older ones as read.Different notification types
Give a visual aid to the notification entries which lets the user easily spot the difference between an "artist notification", a "playlist notification", etc.. (e.g. lead or trail an entry with the according icon maybe?)"Show all notifications" / notification view
Give the user a view where they can go through the notifications in a more convenient layout.
That dedicated view could of course also include filters or any of the above mentioned.
(e.g. Facebook does this with "show all" at the bottom of the open notification area.)That's all for now. I tried to keep it as simple as possible (but not simpler).  To the Spotify dev team:
Thank you for your awesome work! Being a dev myself I can tell that some of those "little" features are super difficult to handle in the back-end and at the scale you're running. Very impressive!

    Hello!
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, that's pretty awesome.
I've moved your topic over here since there were so many ideas in 1 topic. To get your requests working for the ideas exchange, we need to split them up in separate topics, so the received kudos & ideas statuses can be managed properly. So please re-post your ideas in separate topics (your 4th point has been suggested here).
Here are some great tips to submit an idea taken from the official guide:
    1. Search for previously submitted ideas. Someone may have already submitted the same idea.
    2. Use an intuitive title. Avoid vague or non-descriptive titles.
    3. One idea per post. No double dipping.
    4. Ensure the idea is implementable. Avoid posting general feedback or questions in the ideas exchange.
    5. Keep the idea description short and sweet.
    Thanks a lot! :)

    Hi,
We have implemented performance management and implemented extended notification using UWL to get outlook email.
