Notifications dont work, i restore my device. To take out the jailbreak and the notifications dont work
What i can do?
I have ipod touch 4g ios 4.3.3

No, the apps on each device are not synced. This is functioning as it is expected to.

Push notifications dont Work

Push notifications are not working at all. They used to come in but very sparingly. They don't come in at all now. Im using push enabled apps(Beejive & Boxcar). I have notifications enabled on the ipod and both apps settings are set to push enabled. Im using an ipod on wifi, and it is not jail broken. The notifications don't come in even when the screen is "on" and wifi is connected. Any ideas on the problem and/or fix?

Email notifications dont work

my email does not send me push notifications even though i have it set up to do so. please help!

i actually solved the problem myself. it was a cloud account and a gmail account. i just played with differnet settings and figured it out. but thanks alot for the reply. i really appreciate it @chrisj4203. thanks alot

Notifications dont update on second device

Hi All,
Just wondering if someone can help me...
I have an ipad and iphone 5 both running ios7 and both linked up to my icloud account
If i receive a message via facebook, i get a notification badge icon on both iphone and ipad, great!
If i then go into facebook on my iphone, the notification badge icon is then removed off my iphone, but still remains over the facebook app on my ipad,
should the notification badge from my ipad also disappear to acknowledge this notification has been seen on another device?
Im pretty sure it used to do, but not sure if ive changed a setting on one of the devices, or even within facebook for that matter.

Push Notifications Dont come

On my home network, push notifcations will not come through on my iPhone 3gs 3.1.3. Whenever I use other networks though (friends and family wifi) they come through no problem. Any ideas why? I use a dlink wbr 2310 at home

make sure your dlink router has the most up to date firmware.

I dont get notifications on my iphone after updating to ios 6.1

hi ya every1...i got two iphones
one is the iphn 3gs 32gb and the other an iphn 5 64gb...
the iphn5 is working perfectly fine but the iphn 3gs 32gb has started giving me problems after updating it to ios6.1...
the notifications dont show up after the phone is locked...!!
and i always have to go and do a refresh on each app to view the messages or emails..

djrepose , did you try switching on Notifications for the Respective apps under Settings of your iphone?
Settings> Notifications > Click the Respective App and select the Notification type there. Hope this helps

IPhone 4s Wifi button dimmed and Push Notifications aren't working.

My wifi button has been dimmed out for 4 months and only just recently my push notifications havent been working.
My phone has been updated to the iOS 7.1
and no changes to my problems have occured.
How the wifi button doesnt work:
- I tap on button nothing happens
- i can still use my data/credit
- i swipe up the screen,and tap on the wifi button,it turns on but wifi doesnt come up
- its not a dead spot on the screen
How Push Notifications dont work:
-Facebook,Twitter,Tumblr,Instagram etc wont show any notification signs
-i have to go onto the app to recieve my notifications
- text messgaes still pop up on my lock screen
I dont know if these sort of problems should be taken to the Apple store,im uncertain on to how much it would cost to get my phone fixed due to i have no warrenty on my phone.
It would be appreciated if you could help me with anything you know that could help me fix my phone.

can you tell me exactly what you did to fix this. I am having the same problem. I have deleted the affected apps and reloaded them and it still wont work right.

Facebook Notifications on Hub don't appear

I updated my Z10 recently with os 10.1. After the update, I noticed that Facebook notifications dont appear in the hub like they used to.
I tried performing a system restore to the extent of losing all my contacts in full hope of it solving the problem. But still, the notifications dont appear in the hub.
I hope theres a solution to this asap.

Do you have Facebook enabled in your Hub settings and do you currently have notification enabled withing your Facebook settings? Tap the menu icon in the top right of the application. Select Account Settings - Notifications - Notifications from apps. Is Facebook for BlackBerry 10 checked?

Call waiting notifications on Nokia 5800!!!!

I have a small problem.
When I call somebody from my nokia 5800 and that person is talking to smb., so my call is on waiting, i don't hear anything and i don't even see it on my screen. So i don't know if that person is not answering or is on a call.
The same happens when samb calls me and i'm on a call. I receive on the screen a waiting call, but only if i look at it. I don't hear no beeps or any sound that could announce me that i am receiving a call while i'm in a disscusion.
The call waiting option is activated.
How do I solve the problem with the sound notification?
Please help!

Problem with dbus

I have a problem with dbus and libnotify :?
I've added dbus to rc.conf
DAEMONS=(metalog network netfs crond alsa dbus)
and starts gnome with
exec dbus-launch --exit-with-session gnome-session
but dbus-monitor says
My problem is the session bus seems to be missing...
If i started gnome and gajim from root account (bleh), i saw correct dbus-monitor message like:

I'm not sure, because i guess same problem would affect other apps that need this file, not just terminal. But you may be right, i really don't know.
I'm using the official packages (testing), not shadowhand's ones.

Sound problems after update.....

Ok....i updated to 4.2.9 (verizon) and now my notifications dont work minus one. Yet alli get is the pop up...no vibration, no sound. Is anyone else getting nitification problems...anyone download 4.2.10 and have any luck?

Welcome to the HP Community! I see that you are having some issues with your audio. Part of the problem could be that there are no specific drivers for your model for Windows 8.1. Did you use the one driver for Windows 8 from the download page for your model? If not can you provide me with the link that you used?

Workflow Mailer Configuration...

I am configuring workflow mailer notification for sending notifications from oracle apps to email of the apps users.For this I have used organization's mail server(SMTP server) as the outbound server for sending the notifications.But this method is working only when the notifications are being send to the organization's corporate accounts.Whenever we try sending it to other mail accounts (such as,gmail or yahoomail) these notifications dont get delivered.Although, we can send mail from our corporate mail account to other mail ids.What i dont understand is why we cant mails from workflow mailer although its configured using the organization's mail server(SMTP)?

I suspect this is an issue with your corporate mail system and not WF Mailer, since mail to internal users is being delivered successfully. Can you pl check the value of the column MAIL_STATUS in table WF_NOTIFICATIONS for those notifications where email is not being received ? If the value is SENT, then WF Mailer was able to successfully hand off the email to the corporate email system, and it is this system that is not delivering to the external email id (yahoo, google etc). If this is the case, you will have to check with your corp email group to see if they can trace what is happening.

C3-01 EMAIL- ONLY REFRESHES MANUALLY-SOS

I recently bought a nokia C3-01 touch and type
i have set up my gmail account, but i cant receive email notifications automatically!
the only way, for me, at the moment is, if i manually refresh it (which is very annoying, if you receive emails every 5 minutes)
it is very important that i fix it and ive spent a couple of hours trying but with no success

Ok it's time for my 6 monthly attempt at finding a phone that works !
One hour and ten minuites on the phone to Nokia today, Full resets and email account recreations etc etc etc.
Email notifications dont work for me nomatter what account I use and I have many.
I think the most important question I can think of is ::
DOES ANYBODY HAVE EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS WORKING ON THE C3-01 ?????????
Apart from that and the out of control gprs settings it almost does what it claims to do.

All of a sudden my yahoo email wont display correctly (shows some links for inbox etc but they arnt clickable and no emails are displayed) and the links on facebook (notifications, home etc) dont display but facebook content does.

Yahoo home page and yahoo email is not displaying correctly. It had been working fine until Saturday 9/10. When i load yahoo home page it will display content but some is not clickable and is not displayed correctly. In my email it will show the content on the left side (inbox, drafts etc and along the top (contacts, inbox etc) nothing can be clicked and no emails load or are shown. Facebook will load news feed content but will not display the icons at the left top (notifications, messages etc) they are clickable and work but the images just aren't there. Also not able to play games in facebook. The game loads up to 100% but never finishes. I dont go to many other website but i did check a few and they seem to be fine. May this be a website issue or firefox issue? i am able to use internet explorer to correctly see my email and facebook so assuming its a firefox thing.
