Notifications for change of document statuses

If Solution Manager is being used for managing project documentation, is there a way of using some sort of notification to a user when a document is ready to be reviewed, approved, etc.?

James - I think you are looking for functionality called "Electronic (Digital) Signature". This functionaly does not come pre-configured, but is available. Yes the Workflow Background process completed successfully with no errors. I see the error when I query up the Sales Order go to menu --> Workflow Status -->
Activity History.
The Activity History shows error in the Wait Function and the error message is 3001: Invalid command argument.?
This error message does not explain much. I followed all the steps in document# 397364.1
Don't know why it should end in error and how it can be fixed?

Creation of disconnection notification for the disconnection document

I created a disconnection document using FM ISU_S_DISCDOC_CREATE for the installation. Now i have to create the disconnection notification for the disconnection document. Is there any FM to do that.

Substitution for change of document header

Hi
I have created a substitution for the change of document header for a company code. I have made it in GGB1 and activated it in the Tcode OBBH.
However it does not allow me to post the document (Tcode FB01) - I get the syntex error in program 'GBTLEFI0' in include 'GBTLEFIB' in line '1593' - 'The FORM "SUBCON_3ZDEPIND047" does not exist. and the processing is terminated.
Please provide the solution

Creating a script for Notification and Processing of document status change

Hello,
I work for a company that uses SAP. I'm not sure how much of what goes on in our company is company-specific, and how much of it would be understandable by anyone who uses SAP as this is the first company I've worked with that uses SAP.
I'll explain my issue.

I would like to write a script, if it is possible, that will automatically notify me when the Document named "Credit memo Request" has changed to the status of "Completed." I would like to set this up in a way to possibly scan all credit memo requests raised by my SAP username, and monitor this on an hourly basis. I would also like SAP to then send me a copy of that Completed document.
Is this possible? I know a little bit about scripting, and I would be able, I think, to learn whatever language I had to to write this on my own, but first I wanted to ask if this was possible to do.

Hi,
I think you didn't post your question to the right forum... you won't be able to solve your problem with any scripting language.
To solve your problem you'll certaily have to use the SAP Business Workflow and/or write some ABAP program to implement some user-exit or badis.

Is it possible to change marketing document status in DI?

Hi,
It seems that the document status and printed status is readonly properties in DI. I need to change these two status in my AddOn. Does that mean that I can only use SQL UPDATE to update the document status ?

Yes you see well, these statuses are read only by DI API, because these statuses are managed using business operations
like: printed -. you need to print the document
- closed : you need to close the document
- cancelled : you need to cancel the document

No never. For example: you have a sales order. This sales order is has affect in Item Master data, increasing the iscommited quantity.
Now if you update by SQL, the iscommited qty does not reduced, so you make data inconsistency in the Business Logic of SAP B1.
You can do the following:
you may print the document to a dummy printer (PDF creator printer) to get it printed .-> use UI API to print
you may use .Close(), .Cancel methods of DI API on a document to make the status closed/cancelled. Please note, Cancel and Close not able to eliminate on each documents (eg invoices is not implemented).

Setting up notifications for changes to a wiki page

I'm trying to determine if it is possible to set up automated notifications to specific members of a workspace when changes are made to a specific wiki page (as opposed to the subscription functionality that is available for notifying when changes have been made to the document folders)?
I've looked at the possibility of using the RSS feeds option for Recent Activity, but I'd prefer to have an email notification sent to me or another member of the workspace when a change has been made to a specific wiki page. Is such a setup possible?
I'd appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how this might be done.

I'm not aware any email notifications methods for changes to wiki pages. As you already mentioned we got subscriptions for folder level changes from BOL admin. Will let you know if I come across any ideas.

Authorization for changing the user status

Hi all,
I need to give authorization in such a way that after the initiator has creataed a DIR...:
1. When it goes to the next approval, the person should be only able to change the user status and save.
he should not be allowed to change anything else.
I have tried using different authorization objects but none of them worked. Is there any tcode in DMS for just approving the DIR (changing it to next available user status), similar to release strategy. For ex ME29N for approval of PO (Purchase order) ?

Hi Anish,
Based on your requirement, I would like to suggest to go by workflow to approve the document..
With the help of workflow, you can approve the document in workflow inbox itself (workitem), no need to go to DIR, the status will get automatically change in the DIR.
for this you have to use function mudule (set/get next status).
you can do this by taking the help of Workflow consultant and abap.

Similarly, what is the BADI for changing Web dynpro ABAP applictaion name? Currently its triggering HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT.

I don't know, if there is any chance to get the Webdynpro application name. At least in the ABAP System fields is no information about the webdynpro application name.
One remark: I have allways problems with BAPIS / BADIS that behave different depending on the caller. Could it be a good idea to pass some information through the interface / parameters?

I have activeted user exit ZXM06U46 (EXIT_SAPLEBND_002) for change Purchase Order Release Strategy its working fine for T-CODE: ME22N but when i make change in schedulling Agreement thru T-CODE: ME32l its not working here bcoz its not tiggered on SAVE. there is other User-Exit or BADI for change Schedulling Agreement Release Status . Plz help me.

i doubt whether you can change the date , hope so you have to reverse the document asd post it again.
