Hi,
We have maintained the reminders in monitoring of task.i want to trigger a mail automatically to hr administrator or employee on the date of event.
Kindly suggest the configurations/Program to be developed/user exits.

Based on My understanding,
For Notifications/Montoring of Tasks
In MSS there is a iview where manager can see the reminders in MSS role .

This is For ECC 6.04
If i want have a email that should be triggered on the reminder date to HR Administrator to act,Then a Z programshould be developed to do this action and sheduled in background.
It Would be Great if SAP provides a standard solution that integrate infotype 19 and HCM process and Forms.

Email notification in human task: How to customize email subject.

Dear all community members,
I am using email notification service in human task to receive email notification if task is assigned to me. I have configured email notification in human task & I do receive the email in my inbox as assignee.
The default email subject is like [Action Required: TASK_TITLE], I want to remove this [Action Required:] from email subject.
I tried setting <%null%> in Notification Header in .task file but the email subject is still has Action Required.
Is there any way to customize email subject so that I can get rid of [Action Required:] [FYI] in email subject.

Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are Not going to Lotus Notes

Hello Everyone,
Email Notifications for the Tasks in Collaboration are not going to Lotus Notes. We are working on EP 7.0 SP14 with external ITS and backend r/3 4.7.
I performed all the configuration activities that are suggested in the below wiki:

It was worked fine once for me when i perfomed the activities mentioned in the below thread:https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/thread?threadID=147316
But after restarting our Portal Server the Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are not coming.
Could any one please suggest that we need to do any other configurations.Thank you.

Go to the System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management
Then Global Services -> Scheduler Tasks -> Scheduler for Deadline Task
When you edit the WFTaskSchedulerDeadline you have a property called Time Table.
There you can define how often and when the task should run.

Are you using this RSWUWFML2 program or Extended notification to receive the email notification.
If Yes Choose 'One Message per Work item'.
If no, tell me from where you getting the email.

Hi Ratan,
It is not clear from your question whether you are trying to trigger the email notification for the task or the lead, but it doesn't matter. You'll need to write a WF for the Lead/Task and trigger it when a new record is created and then in actions select the email notification.

Notification Co ordinator & Task Processor

Hi,
In our system, It is possible to assign expired user ids as notification co ordinators & task processors in Q notifications, whose validity period is overdue(in SU01). This is not desirable, as notifications & tasks are left unattended.
This seems like a standard SAP error. Are there any controls available OR any OSS notes available to correct this problem?

I am not very sure about whether the OSS will be available for same problem in same Forum ( as it seems to be more of BASIS issue),but there is certainly a User Exit that can be used

Notification on Sales Task Create

All,
We are implementing Oracle Sales Online 11i at our client place.
Here is the requirement, In Oracle Sales Dashboard there is a link to create tasks, when a user logs into Sales User responsibility and creates a task, he is getting an email notification saying that task is created but when he assigns a assignee for this task .. that assignee is not getting the email notification. Is this standard functionality ??? or do we need to set any profile option to get the email notification for the assignee ??
I have verified all the Sales User guide, implementation guide ... but could not find any thing ....

I don't see any standard output in t.code V/30 (I am with SAP version 4.7). You can develop an output type and assign to output determination procedure for fulfilling this requirement. Check with an ABAPer to develop output form/program. Email Notifications for UWL Tasks and Collaboration Tasks

Hi,
I want to configure Email Notifications for both UWL Tasks and Collaboration Tasks.
I done with the all the Configurations suggested in the below link:

Try using the Bapi.
BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE
Also use this BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_COMPLETE to complete the task.(if the task is not getting updated)
Then use BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.

Extended notification: Filter more Tasks

I am using the extended notification. I have already a filter for one task and know how to add some entries. Is there also the possibility working to use wildcards like TS000*? Is it possible?

Did you (or has someone else?) tried to use task groups (object type TG)? If that worked, you could group your tasks into one task group, and use that group in SWNCONFIG, etc.
In general I would perhaps avoid using wildcards even if they worked (or at least be extra careful with them). Perhaps you could make it work now (=it selects only the tasks that you intended), but you will never know what happens in the future: someone (or SAP) creates new tasks, which fits into your wildcard criteria, and you users will be getting some notifications that they are not supposed to get (this is especially valid concern if you would be using the custom created tasks "TS9*" in your filter).

Empty notification in human task.

Can someone tell me why the notiffications are empty?
I've run through the SOA Order booking demo - and according to the tutorial - the notification should show ho the notification is send to. I've applied the patch Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.3.0 Patch.

I guess empty here means the notification mail sent has an empty body.
There are 2 options with notification mails:
One is to make the mail secure wherein no information related to task is sent in that mail. In this case the notification message is carried as e-mail body.
The other option is mail has attachments for notification header as well as task details.
Can anyone suggest a way to have the notification header content in the mail body and task detail as an attachment.

I'm wondering if there is a way to make the Reminders Notification "Complete" the task.

As it is, I can snooze the task or I can close the task, but I cannot complete the task. Is there an option to have this popup on my screen? Or am I stuck with the two default answers?

I think all you can do is to click on the notification so that the reminder gets displayed and then you can complete it from there.

Email notification in approval task not working

Hi Experts,
We are trying to use email templates, to trigger emails for role requests on Approval task as below.
As if we raised request to the role, It is triggering the Notification Task, executing the Log Notification task in Provisioning frame work, but not triggering Email, From notification switch task, it is going to Else statement as Unknown notification type instead of Email.
When I checked the table mxpv_audit_variables with the request audit id, no entry created.
Can please suggest how to fix this,

We are forming the work flow like this.
First we are setting the Manager as approver.
If assigner=manager, it should do auto approval.
we configured auto approval.
but the problem is after auto approval, for notification we are writing a job, instead of using assignment notification.
is this possible to sent autoapproval mail without writing separate job?

there will be no email notification sent, when a user receives a new task from the adhoc workflow of the portal. At http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/89/a91f40337d436aba318fb4920437db/content.htm I read, that only the tracker of the task get a notification:
"...The Java Workflow can provide notifications using either the KM notification service or the JavaMail transport service. Notifications are sent to the tracker(s) of a task..."
Does anybody know, if there is a possibility to send a notification to the recipient, so that he knows that he got a task? without that, the notification is useless I think!
