Notify administrator for the Fax status

Hi,
I am sending PO by fax but some times my system not able to deliver fax to vendor bcoz of the wrong number or delay in transmission and when i check it in SOST there it shows that unable to deliver bcoz of.......My requirement is to notify the administrator by sending mail that system is unable to deliver fax for this PO.
Tell me what should i do for the same ?
Thanks,
Rahul

Hi,
SCOT performs according to network connection. So when sending a Fax, check the internet connection to send.
I think, internally you can raise an alert or mail to adminstrator when the connect is failed.

I believe there is a PDF doc which comes with the component (it should be at your harddrive when you install it), which describes everything you will need.
In a nutshell, there are two types of relationship: sibling - sibling, parent - child (there are some more nuances, but it follows the same logic).
A relationship is created between two existing items (not sure, if you can also create a relationship for a new checked in item, but it would be just a usability). You select the type of relationship and the item - I believe depending on the relationship you may start from either item. The dialog to start is INFO (display metadata) or UPDATE (update metadata).
When a relationship is created you may watch it also from either end (again INFO is the starting point).
It is quite self-explanatory, so if you have the component installed you may just play around with it for a while and that is it.

The same script worked for me in vision (R12.1). You may have issues with your defaulting of a number of attributes that you are not passing in the API (like price list, line type and so on). You may want to check them.

  • No Administrator for the TASK

    Hi All,
Could you help me to resolve workflow issue. We have a workflow for PO release strategy. The agents are maintained in customized table. Now when I am adding a new agent in that customized table, the workflow is picking up the agent correctly but the he is not able to approve it as it gives the error "No administrator found for the task".
Can somebody help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Hema,
It might be authorization problem. after displaying this message run transaction /NSU53 and check any authorization are missing. if yes then contact basis team and if message display like 'all authorization checks have so far been successful' then run transaction SWU_OBUF and press synchronize(shift + f1) then try again.
    Hope these helps.

I would like to have the ability for the user to edit the property 'Status Message'.  In the properties it says that it should be available in the details section however I am not seeing it there.  Does anyone know if I might have something set

  • Is there another update after 10.1.0.273 for the Z10? I assume we'll be notified as for the first update... Any Link update?

Just wondering if there is an update for the Z10 beyond the 10.1.0.273...  I have been reading about a so-called "leaked" one on CrackBerry forums but not being a real experimenter with these gadgets I would not download it for sure...
I assume we'd be notified as we were before, with the last one.
This user is happy with the device and has much more to learn about it, but it takes time.
I would still advocate for further info that should come with the phone, either the flyer or on the phone menu such as "expect ........  [hours, minutes?] to update your software when an official update is announced"   -- it takes longer than you expect.  And more detailed info as to how to do it, via WiFi only or Data Services....
What about the Link software, has that been updated?   I am not expecting it, but was just wondering...

For official updates, you'll be notified in the same manner.
For now, what you have is the latest update.

  • Mac OS X's built-in fax - any good to monitor fax status or re-fax out?

    Hi Folks,
Just testing out my new Intel Mac Mini's faxing capabilities. It seems that the faxing status details when I view the fax monitor isn't quite as accurate as I need. For example, after I mistakenly tried to send a fax out via my printer/fax machine, I cancelled it before it finished dialing, but still the status of it showed that it was "Finished".
Because I absolutely need to know whether my faxes got sent properly or not, should I continue to use the very convienient built-in fax software, or opt for another fax program?
Does the built-in fax software also attempt to re-dial the same number to re-fax out if the first try failed? And can you also configure it to attempt X number of times before quitting?
BTW, are there any good free Mac faxing programs available? Thanks.
Intel Mac Mini   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

There are two excellent shareware faxing programs available: Pagesender and FaxCenter. Of the two I prefer and use Pagesender, and it's a universal binary. FaxCenter is cheaper, but hasn't been updated for a while.
