NotifyOSD look-alike theme engine for the notification daemon

I've started to work on a theme engine named "coco" for the notification daemon, and I'm sharing what I have so far in case someone finds it useful. My goal is to make it look like NotifyOSD (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NotifyOSD). I'm taking the notification-daemon-engine-nodoka source code as a starting point, so you can follow the same steps that are on the AUR to install it.

Keep in mind that I've disabled all kind of buttons for now, and the icon that appears on the screenshot is from NotifyOSD (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/no … -icons/0.3).

Hey, thanks for adding it to the AUR.
I don't have my computer here right now, so I can't really test it, but do you have composition enabled? Also, which version of notification-daemon do you have?
I haven't really cleaned the nodoka code that coco doesn't use, maybe when I do that the bug goes away, I'll try to do that before the weekend and I'll let you know so you can try again.

I have a new lap top with vista ultimate. I can't get it to "see" the music stored on the server, so my iTUnes on the lap top is blank.

They should be in your itunes media folder. Use an external hard drive and just copy that to your new computer. I'm sure there's an easier way like this one (iTunes>File>Library>Export Library>External Hard Drive) but I never tried it before. Anyways, once that's done, just simply authorize your itunes account to play music you bought on to the new computer.

If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

Addition of extra subscreen for the notification

Hi All,
I have requirement in which I need to add an extra sub screen in the notification creation tab for certain notification types. There are 5 subscreens being displayed for the Notification header tab.
When I checked in SPRO for the screen settings for Notification creation the limit for subscreens is 5. As per my requirement I need to add one more subscreen to this.
Let me know how can I do this.
SPRO path used is - SPRO --> IMG --> Plant Maintainance and customer service --> Maintenance and service processing -> Maintainance and Service notifications --> Notification creation --> notification types --> Set screens for notification type.
Here give any notification. click on the notification 1 tab - 10\TAB01. In the screen area you can see there is space for 5 screens only. I need to add one more in this. let me know how can i do that.

Seems that we cannot include more than 5 sub screens in the iw22 notification data screen. Using the Custome data tab provided to enhance further.

Make custom theme available for the "Create new app" wizard

I have a general problem. Imagine you have created a theme for ApEx. The theme makes applications look as demanded by the design principles of a company. The company now wants everyone developing ApEx applications to use the developed theme.
But It seems to me that there is no easy way of doing this. When I create a new application, I can only see the standard themes defined in the repository. If I want a new application to use the developed theme, I have to exort the theme once, and import it for any application I create (after creating the application, of course :-( ). This is cumbersome. And maybe a point of discussion in many companies.
Is there a way to exchange a predefined theme in the repository through a custom theme? Or even better: Add a predefined theme to the repository? The important thing is to make the theme available for all applications in an instance without importing the theme again and again.
If there is no possibility to do this, this is an enhancement request. How about a possibility to import new themes globally for all applications (maybe from the INTERNAL workspace). Or how about putting a "Import Theme" Upload field on the "Select Theme" page in the application creation wizard?

I'll put an enhancement request for that, there might even already be one. The way you are doing it right now is pretty much the easiest way.
One way I do it is I have a stub application that has just a couple blank pages and the proper themes and templates. Then all someone has to do is install the blank application and start working on that, it just takes a couple steps out of the theme switching issue.

Hello, I love the nimbus theme and have installed it from the AUR.
Sadly, there are applications like acroread, foxitreader etc. that won't load the engine and use a nasty default saying

As far as I understand, especially since using the Clearlooks engine, everything works as intended. Clearlooks however has a 32bit version in
/opt/lib32/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines
I want to be able to use the nimbus theme everywhere. However I can't figure out how to make a 32bit binary with the provided gcc and moreover, where to put the resulting files.
Please help, it really murders consistency and renders 64bit Arch a real pain in the a**. I know about the pure 64bit stance, but honestly, there are some apps that are simply only 32bit.

Okay so... status update.
I really wanted to make Acrobat Reader work with the Nimbus theme.
I used yaourt in a hastily set-up chroot and build the package from the aur (fortunately you can cancel the actual installation). I then copied the pkg.tar.gz to my desktop.
The 32bit Gtk themes are installed in:
/opt/lib32/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines
I used the line from the AUR pkgbuild:
cp -rPf "$srcdir/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines" "$pkgdir/opt/lib32/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0"
So, on my system:
cp -rPf /home/dan/Desktop/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines/ /opt/lib32/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/
after having unzipped the package - nimbus-0.1.2-2-i686.pkg.tar.gz.
The -r option means recursive, the -P option preserver permissions and the -f option checks if the destination file can be opened and if not, deletes it and recopies.
You will notice that in the above directory, you'll find 2 files - libnimbus.a and libnimbus.so
All the other themes only have the shared object file and the .a file is an archive as far as nautilus is concerned (can't open it, need ar apparently). Everything seems to work if you delete the .a file. I am not sure if the file is only appears with this theme, or with any theme installed this way.
So, finally, it worked. Acrobat opened and used the new theme.

So, it's bugged. The theme. Anyway, the tutorial should work just fine on any non-standard theme you need to use in 32bit apps. It could probably be automated a bit more and perhaps with a multilib gcc, you could do it some other way.
The point is you really need the libnimbus.so. The shared resources are architecture independent and the standard path will work.
Oh and I've given up on the nimbus theme itself actually. Care to suggest any good gtk theme?

Where can we get the list of predefined services for the notification of events/signals

We have a sample plugin docwatch which uses the responder to notify in case a new doc is created/saved/doc closed etc.
I want to know if I can get the similar set of services for the text frame
eg: Typing a text should generate the notification
Deleting a text shoud generate a notification( in the form of alert window or something)
Also, for pages,frames etc.
Where can we check the list of default services available for these or can we do it some how in code?

To check the instances which have ran today, you can use the below query in query builder.
SELECT SI_NAME,SI_ID FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_INSTANCE=1 AND SI_STARTTIME > '2014.08.20 00:00:00' Order by SI_STARTTIME DESC
To check the instances which would be running in the future, that means you have recurring schedules. Check for the SI_NEXTRUNTIME to get the details of instances which will run in the future as per the recurrences.

Mapping is one to many.
Each IDoc content has been compared manually against the xsd schema and it was fine.
I know that old way of modifying xsd is still possible.

2. Add the required mail id's to this mailing list.
3. Now attach this mailing list to the WF. notification.

In the settings page, you will see "Configure alerts", and your configured email address.
You may change it there.

Has anyone used Attest 1.5 and passed the ACE for Flex 3?

I did not use Attest for the Flex 3 exam. The questions in the version for the Flex 2 exam did not cover the breadth of topics covered in the real exam, and some of the questions were not as difficult as the real exam.
That said, I did find Attest extremely valuable in preparing for the Flex 3 certification exam.
BTW, I'm currently working on a Flex app to help others prepare for the Flex 3 certification exam. It won't be ready until end of July, but it should have far more questions than Attest. Where Attest offers several "full" mock exams and several "mini" exams, my application will be designed to make persons "over-prepared" for the exam, because the end goal is not just to pass the exam, but to reach a high level of expertise in Flex.
I have not decided if I will charge for the application, we'll see how it turns out by end-of-July.
Attest is free, but I expect you will be more than pleased to buy my version, as it will be a different animal entirely.

If you are refering to the Dock Icon which showed you your Downloads folder then open a Finder Window on your Home folder and drag the Downloads folder to the dock. It will create an Icon for the folder.
Not sure about the Bootcamp icon, don;t use it but if there is a Bootcamp folder the procedure should be the same.
