Now I can't post a theme!?
I tried to create a theme today, but I got ECw/S and no trace
of the theme.
Kuler needs to be repaired - and fast. Today alone, I've seen
more kuler krumbles (and flickr fumbles) than ever in the last
three months. Help us, Mr. Iwata! I thank you for this, but it's
still held up by duct tape!
Raymie, as you see we are addressing a few bugs right now, so
if you can use Safari for now, we'll look at the issues you raised
when things calm down. Ah, the new release of beta software, some
days it does feel like duct tape, however features like color
extraction are created from more rigorous material <grin>.

I posted my question here and it got deleted and they told me to go post it on the Developer forum cause it contains info about the new version of OSX coming out next month, but I'm not a developer and the developer forum sends me here if it's a question about using a product. And I have a question about using my iPhone 5s. Please don't delete this question again.
I updated my iphone 5s (64 gig) and ipad 2 (16 gig) to ios 8 last week and I stupidly said yes to iCloud Drive before I read all the warning signs not to. My photos are still there cause I didn't have them in icloud, but my contacts are gone on my phone. I updated my Mac Mini to (the new version of OSX after Mavericks and I'm hoping if I don't say the name of it this post won't get deleted) and I still see all my contacts on my computer, I'm just not sure how to get them back on my phone. Should I restore my phone in itunes to a previous backup from last month? Figured I'd check here before I went with that.
Please don't delete this post cause I can't post it in the developer forum. This is a question for the support forum. I am an end user.An error message came up on the computer and said it couldn't complete the installation.
When I plug the ipod into the computer nothing happens. It sill shows the apple icon on the touch and a bar. It doesn't show in itunes at all. -
My hard wear and soft wear crashed, did a backup on all my files.
When I now open them the are all "preview"!!!

I have a new computer and run Symantec protection on it. When I open Facebook it always says a script is running and asks me what I want to do (continue, debug or end script). Then I can't post pictures of anything on that grey toolbar. When I post just words it stays light grey and if I try to leave the page it says I'm not done, but then posts it anyways...

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If all or most of the files have a common extension, say "jpg" or "tiff", and no other file
on your desktop has that extension, you could try removing them in a terminal window:
startup up Terminal (in Utilities), then execute (typed on individual lines, after the prompt,
followed by enter/return):
cd Desktop
rm *.jpg
(Use whatever extension is appropriate, if jpg isn't.) Of course, this would remove ALL
of the jpgs on your desktop, so be careful. -

Video's are missing from facebook album under photo's. It shows that I have 99 and only shows 24. These are not copyright problems. I have had them up for years. Now, I can not post any video's too. Message says that content is currently unavailable. It seemed to happen after I upgraded to 10.7.5 but it could be coincidental. Of course, I have not got any email from facebook to help with this problem and I am really frustrated that I can not find my video's and post any new ones anymore. Any help would be appreciated.
I would like to add that Comcast is my internet provider. Perhaps that is part of the issue although the Connection Doctor confirms the mail box is connecting to the internet. No other function processes when Connection Doctor program is used to find the source of the issue. I have read forum posts but am unable to find a way to get my Apple mail to be delivered to my computer. It worked fine up until I chose to transfer mail to the Cloud. My mail account is a .mac account.
Still hoping someone out there can help me.

This has been happening on and off for awhile but really annoying during the holidays! I uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player (found as a suggestion on line). That didn't fix it but while in my Add-ons I saw Shockwave for Director. I thought it might be conflicting with Shockwave Flash so disabled it. This seemed to work as I posted several pictures. Came back to my computer a few hours later and now I can't post photos again.

Why can't I get my iTunes or Quicktime to play? I've had my pc checked and it isn't a problem there. My java is up to date and all other programs work well. Other people I know have been having similar problems with Apple downloads. Now I can't uninstall them therefore I can't re install them. Help! Anybody out there have the same problems? I've tried every suggestion I've gotten from these blogs and can't get Apple to respond.

How can I get my photos back, after my computer crashed and now I can only preview them?
Before my computer crashed I had saved my photos on my WD My passport but I think it was only saved like a preview. Once my computer crashed I brought my pictures back to the HD Imac Computer but now I can see them but I can't save, print or export them. Is it possible for me to fix this and if so how?

We need to know more, to be able to understand what you have done.
How did you save your images to the external drive? Did you copy your Aperture library there?
Is your Aperture library referenced or managed - did you store the original image files outside the Aperture library or are they included in your Aperture library? If you have referenced images, did you back them up too?
The error message you are seeing, shows that Aperture cannot find the original image file. That is indicated by the yellow warning badge with the arrow.
If your Aperture library is referenced, you need to restore your backed up original image files as well from their backup, and then use the the command "File > Locate Referenced Files" to reconnect the image versions with the missing original files. Do you have a backup of the originals? If you cannot restore your referenced originals, you can turn your previews into new originals; post back, if you need help with that.
If your Aperture library is managed, and all your originals are included inside your Aperture library, try if the Aperture Library First Aid Tools can fix this:
Repairing and Rebuilding Your Aperture Library: Aperture 3 User Manual
Check if the "Masters" folder inside your Aperture Library contains any image files: Crtl-click the Aperture library and use "Show Package Contents". Are the missing original image files inside?

I took pictures for work. I downloaded them to iPhoto, is there anyway to add the lats/longs now? Can it be done automatically?
are you sure the lats/longs aren't there? if not, i don't know how to add them now, but you can click on the 'i' in the picture and zoom in on the map as close as possible. to get the lat/long on there beforehand you have to turn on the camera's location in the settings app. or did you accidentally post this in the iphone forum?

Since updating to FireFox 29. there are a lot of FaceBook Friend's posted photos are blank now. How do I make them show?
If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.
*Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu bar.
Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "<i>Block Images from...</i>" has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the <b>permissions.default.image</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page should be 1.
Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

Moved jpeg files to other folder, now iPhoto can't find them
I dragged/dropped some original jpeg files into a new folder to aggregate certain files together, but since they are now in a different folder iPhoto 9 can't find them. The thumbnails in iPhoto still remain, but results in the large black/grey "!" when I try to open them. I'd rather not rebuild the enormity of my entire photo library over this, so is there some other way to re-link thumbnails to files?
iTunes makes this easy with music. When I click on a file name and it can't find the file, it offers to allow me to locate the file myself, and then it re-establishes the link between the iTunes library item and the file. No problem.
How does one go about doing this in iPhoto for, say, a couple of dozen files without having to start over with an ENTIRE rebuild? I know exactly where the files are, and it seems ridiculous that iPhoto isn't equipped to track the whereabouts of an unchanged file that's simply been dragged from one folder to another.Did you do the moving of the image file in the Finder or do you have a reference library as asked by Larry? In either case moving the files is a recipe for disaster as you've found out. You must either move the files back to their original locations or try to get those photos back into iPhoto as follows:
1 - Find the folder you moved the files into and COPY it to the Desktop.
2 - in iPhoto delete the photos that you're having the problems with as you normally would even though you can't see see them. Also delete all the photos that are in the folder you moved the other files into.
3 - drag the folder on the Desktop into iPhoto to import them as one event. If you get a duplicate warning I'd let it import the duplicate and use Duplicate Annihilator to find them so you can cull out the duplicate you don't want.
Other than that you might have to start over from scratch as follows:
Creating a new library while preserving the Events from the original library.
1 - Move the existing library folder to the desktop
2 - Open the library package like this.
3 - Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
4 - Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.

Just updated my iphone. Now I can se I have two! iCloud accounts? One of them appears on my phone, and I have forgotten the password. When I try to add the other account, I get the message that this account is already added, but with the name of the first account where there is no available password. I have tried several times to reset the password, bun I don't get the information I need - I have no access to email. What can I do?
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

Highlight the movie, go to iTunes menu ADVANCED and select create iPad and AppleTV version.
