Just to be sure I've not made a mistake...
Can the 3rd gen Nano record voice memos now,... the recording folder is there when I click on my Nano's icon.
Trouble is I cannot find a compatible Mic.... Does anyone have one or know of a Mic that will work ?

Can you browse the Time Machine drive from Finder?
If you can and you know where the picture was stored ie on your desktop you can browse through the folder structure to the picture copy it and paste it somewhere on your new install before right clicking it and 'set as desktop background'

The auto recovery dat should be in the Microsoft User Data folder in your documents folder, not in the Library. However, I Haven't had to look recently.

I did as you recommended and installed HTTPWatch and below is the outcome of that program. It is the exact string with the only exception of obfuscated servernames and portnumbers. The last part that begins with "sap_ep_baseurl=" makes me suspicious, is that part really correct? It looks like it's lacking things.

You can drag them out of the trash folder to wherever you wish. There is no automatic way to restore them.
If you have a recent backup of your computer (at the risk of preaching, everyone should have one), restore them from there.

Where was it purchased from?
Was it downloaded or was a disc purchased?
What is your operating system?
Is it version Photoshop Elements 13?
Did you use a redemption code to get a serial number?
Did you sign in/activate?
Did you create an Adobe account?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

3rd Gen Nano click wheel won't work in the car. My OLD one worked, but this one doesn't.

I use a PXDP iPod2Car iPod interface in my 02 Firebird. My original, trusty 3rd gen. nano used to work perfectly. It charged, and the steering wheel as well as main stereo controls operated it. Something happened to it recently (my guess is the logic board went bad) and it does not come on at all, plugged in or not. I actually have 2 more just like it that I was going to give away, but decided to keep.
Neither one of these will let me use the click wheel to scroll while plugged into the car - the old one did.
I can only change songs with the car's controls.
The only difference between these two and the old one, is that they have the HP logo on the back. Are they later models, with perhaps different hardware?
Is there anything I can do about it?
Is there any hope for the old one?
I hate not being able to scroll at all!

Resetting the Recording Folder

Once upon a time, I set a client's Logic Audio configuration so that all of their recording was going to one, single folder. (The reason for this is that they couldn't be trained to not keep all of their projects on their desktop, so the audio files for all of the projects ended up on the desktop, too, and it kept filling up their system drive. So, I configured their templates so that the recording path was to an "Audio Files" folder on a huge 2nd drive they had).
Now, it's looking like that solution is untenable and I'm in the process of migrating them back to the "standard way" of each project being in its own folder with its audio. However, I'm having trouble resetting the recording path.
Normally, with a new project, the recording path isn't set at all, so Logic just records to an "Audio Files" folder within the folder where it found the .logic project. This is what I want to set my recording paths back to... back from the "/Volumes/Monster2ndDrive/Audio Files" that it currently is.
The problem is: Logic doesn't seem to let you set it back to nothing. It wants you to select an existing folder.
What do I do? Is there some trick to set it back to nothing, or can I, perhaps, create some temporary folder, tell Logic to use that, then delete the folder in the hopes that Logic will go back to nothing for the Recording Path again?
Ideas?

HT1414 I'm trying to restore from an earlier backup but my iphone only shows the most recent. I'm on Windows Vista and found the backup folder. If I delete the recent files, will it force the iPhone to backup from the next older file? Why doesn't it show

I'm trying to recover a file and the app company said to restore from an earlier backup. My iPhone only shows the most recent backup. I've been searching the net for answers - I found the back up file and date sorted them (over 6mb of files). How can I get my iPhone to restore from an earlier backup?
I am on Windows Vista so I don't have Time Machine.
I have backed up the backup folder so if I mess it up, I have it in a separate place.
Can I just delete all the files with todays date in that backup folder and have it forced to the next oldest date?
Why doesn't the iPhone show a list of the least several backups.

As you backup the iPhone in iTunes, it overwrites the last backup. Files are kept as they are changed, so that would explain how you get different dates in your backup folder. The only backups that are saved and not overwritten are the ones done just prior to a restore. You do have the option to go back in time on a Windows computer, however depending on the last time you set a restore point in Windows, it could be back further than you are willing to go.

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.
If that doesn't work, others have reported removingthe email account and adding it again resolves the issue.
