Now RAID BIOS Hangs-Can't get into it!!
Folks - On a new build, the BIOS (v1.6) on my Neo4-F worked fine. I was trying to get Windows to not lose missing nt___ files. I kept deleting arrays and trying new array configs, reloading windows (yes, loading the RAID drivers with F6), but Windows still wouldn't load due to missing dll's. Now when I set the RAID SATA settings in the BIOS, save & exit, on the reload it hangs at the Nvidia RAID ROM BIOS screen "Detecting array..." and won't go any further. So I have to power down, reset the CMOS to get the BIOS back. If I go in and reset the SATA RAID drives, it'll do the same thing, otherwise if I don't set the RAID, it'll go on to load Windows as normal. What happened and how can I get into the RAID BIOS again??? Thanks
Try having just one connected and boot . (do a cmos clear also ) .
You can also leave the drive powered , and just insert/remove the sata cable when system is running .
Just don't plug/unplug the HDs power connector while system is powered on.
Sometimes the raid hangs if the drive order has been reversed (the raid mirror is confused whats drive #1) .So you should also try switching the drives on the connected sata ports .

After putting together a new system and installing windows I ran MSI's update util. The first thing I updated was the bios. I did a windows flash. It made the recovery disk and flashed the bios. The machine would not boot after this and I followed the recovery process. Now I can't get into the bios. After the first beep when posting I hit and the machine just hangs. I'm really not sure how stable my system is now. After the recovery I ran the update util again and tried to install some Intel Inf files and after copying 90% the machine hung. I was thinking about re-flashing and re-installing windows.

And can you clarify where you know stand. If I understand this you flashed to a new bios version, were unable to boot, and you restored the old bios, and are able to boot. Have you gone into the bios to make changes since recovering? -

I recently got this computer. It's amazing the only thing that could use a change is the keyboard. I got this as a gaming PC but the function keys can only be accesed when pressing FN. In most computer games the f# keys are your shortcuts. When i go to press mine i have windows changed and the control panal pops up.
So i was looking around and they say you can go into BIOS mode and turn off the hotkeys. Only issue is i can't get into BIOS mode.
I would really appreciate some help on this, i don't want to go out and key a whole-nother keyboard.

Turn on the laptop then tap f10.
That should get you into the BIOS.

MSI 870-G45 - Can't get into BIOS
So, just built myself a new pc.
It posts, and I have some output on the screen upon boot up, like I see that its detecting my sata hd/dvd drive and everything. Like the topic name says, I can't get into the BIOS. When it posts, its detecting my keyboard and everything, but it simply hangs at the post screen and I cannot get into the BIOS at all for whatever reason that is beyond me. I've tried 2 keyboards, one ps/2 and a usb keyboard, nothing on either (the usb is one I went to wal-mart and got today as I guessed the ps/2 wasn't working correctly or whatever).
Tried clearing CMOS (taking out the battery, resetting the jumper and everything). Still got nothing.

I am locked out of my iPod. I tried to update the iPod so I could download a song I just bought. Had to back up the library on my computer. heey i bought an iphone 3gs about 2-3 months ago (used) was in mint condition well taken care of not even a scratch as soon as i got home i tried syncing it to my computer but didnt work it didnt even sync or notice my iphone software .. so i went to my friends and synced it there it has been working for music but videos wont work? but i didnt care and then the pop up that says update so we would click it wait and it wouldnt work ever since ive had it so i left it like that so i went to my friend today i blanked it off the phone itself and then tried to get the newest update cuz i wasnt able to before so i did and now im locked out and it says sim failure invalid sim i can even get into it PLEASE HELP and cant get a new sim at the moment or take it into the apple store because i live about an hour and a half away from the city and rarley go to it please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

I moved during the summer. I changed to highspeedand & when I set my computer up it told me that my email address was already in use so I had to change it(????) I changed from jkady to [email protected] I tried to change it on firefox but it would not except the new name and I could not get into my old account.I need all my addresses and would like to cancel the old account but I can not get into it. This is very frustrating!!!!! I need my addresses!!!!!!!!
I logged in changed the primary E-Mail address to a different one, vertified it then tried to log in it said either to send an E-Mail to veritify again or to do my security questions, so I choose to do the security questions and put in my Birthday like it asked and it said that it was wrong and I had to authenticate it to get in, why is it so hard to just set up a Apple ID really though!
So I tried the E-Mail to and it has not sent me an E-Mail then I tried to log in again and it has locked me out of my account so I try to recover my password and it gave me the same options to get my password back and both options are doing the same as before, it says I don't know my on birth date or it is wrong or needs authenticate it, then the E-Mail doesn't come through!

I press reset and now i can't get into router interface?
Yestoday i was just experimenting with my router. I set up a restriction for 12am to 12:05am to see if it will block my sister's internet just for the fun.
However it did not work.
Today my internet was slow because of my sister's laptop. Probably downloading some soft of content. I decide to press the reset button therefore her connection would be taken off.
However now i want to fix that. I understand how to get into my router's interface:
-By going to my computer and then typing 192.168.1.1 on top...
-Yestoday when i did that it worked. I was able to get into router interface, but now i can't. It gives me "cannot find server"
I don't understand why i can't get into my router's set up~
Can this be fixed?it might be that the reaosn why you're not accessing up the router's set-up page is because the computer connected to it is not getting a valid IP adress already...
to check this...
go to START, then RUN
type in cmd
in the command line, type in ipconfig
take note of your IP adress... that's the computer IP adress..
Now, take note of your default gateway... that is equivalent to your router's IP adress...
in the same window, type in (ping default gateway #) ping 192.168.1.1 . if it replies, then your router's interface should be able to open up
launch internet explorer, then type in http://192.168.1.1

I got locked out of Mac os 9 and now I can't get into OS 9 or OS X. All I see is the Macintosh SE and a finder face and text that says "mac os 9.2 welcome to mac os". I can't get into COntrol Panel to reset the password to allow me to get in.
Do you have OS X and OS 9 installed on your Mac? If so, startup with the Option key depressed. This will open the Startup Manager window. Select the OS you want to start from & click the right arrow.

I removed cookies and now I can't get into Tagged. How do I undo this???
I went to Tools, Options, Privacy, and removed all cookies. Now I can't get into Tagged. I don't know what I did different, because I have removed cookies before and this did not happen.

updated my i Phone 4 s to os 8 last night now can't get into my apps it requests i sign into iCLOUD HELP PLEASE
Before I updated this I turned my phone on, entered my password and if I pressed one of the apps it immediately went into that with no problem. Since updating it immediately I press to go into an app it comes with a big white square on the screen stating "sign into iCloud" Enter the Apple ID password for my email address. Then asks for my password to be entered. If i press cancel it reverts to the app for 1 second then goes back to the above screen. The only other option is to sign into iCloud. I have never used iCloud before. Can you help please.

my daughter let a friend use her ipod shuffle. Now we can't find her so we can't get into her itunes. Restore still asks for her password. We just want a clean install. Is that possible?
Are you sure you have an iPod Shuffle and not an iPod Touch?

Imac has 2tb internal drive, can i use a 2 tb external for TM?
I wiild like to use a 2 tb drive to backup my imac (2tb) with TM. Does time machine do a full disk backup or only the used memory? I haven't seen and drives larger than 2tb if this wont work.
