Now that I have installed OSX Lion, my flash player won't work.

After I installed OSX Lion a few days ago my flash player suddenly stopped working. It won't let me update (it says I have the newest version) and when say, I try to watch a YouTube video a little box comes up over the player with settings and the "allow" button but no matter if I use the trackpad or the keyboard I can't select anything.
It's getting really annoying because I can't play games, watch videos or video share online anymore and I have no idea how to fix it.
Is it just something that will be stuck until Adobe releases a version that isn't beta for OSX 10.7?

This allows me to watch videos which is great but still when I try to play any flash games or enable a webcam on something other than iChat, Skype or Photobooth the dialog box comes up and even using tab and space bar like Adobe suggests doesn't seem to work. :-/

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard. Now none of my Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) work, nor does my old version of Adobe Creative Suite. I'm really disappointed. I'm a poor college student and I can't drop hundreds of dollars on software because of this issue with a 20$ operating system.
Any ideas on what I should do? Go back to Snow Leopard? I like the Cloud and Find My Mac and the calendar sync, but I don't know if it's worth buying whole new versions of software that I use on a regular basis.

Yeah. My Office is from '04. I still have the installation disk for Leopard, as well. I have a really old version of CS. It's probably from around 2004. I guess upgrading my software won't kill me. It'll make me cry a little, but it won't kill me. Is CS3 the oldest one that is compatible with Mountain Lion?
Is 2008 the oldest version of Office that will work on it?

I hope by saying 'installed the software', you mean that Acrobat XI is now installed on your computer.
Now, open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat and choose "File> Save as Other> Microsoft Word"
This is all you need to do

You paid for it, the application doesn;t really take up much space and there may come a time when you want it or need it.

Your current camera roll is stored in iCloud via the backup, and the photos in Photo stream are also stored in iCloud for about 4 weeks.
However, once you delete them on your iPad, they will disappear from your backup the next time it runs.
The best way to sort your issue out is to:
1) Connect a Windows or OS X computer to Photo Stream. This will get your current photos onto your computer.
and/or
2) Connect your iPad to a Windows or OS X computer through the USB cable, and sync the photos across before deleting them from your iPad. This will get photos and videos.

Keep iPhone on wall charger for ten minutes, it may turn ON itself. If still nothing, keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until the iPhone begins to respond.

Hi Andy, that is correct, they don't support PPC Macs anymore.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

Once downloaded if it doesn't unzip automatically the double click on that file.

Flash player won't work and new one won't install

My adobe flash player is not working, when I tried to download the latest flash player it would not install which means I cannot download a file i need from the transfer email program which requires the flash player. I have gone to the web site and went through the suggested routine of making sure things are enabled. Still no Luck. Need help!

I have installed new version of flash player now it does not work.

I have un-installed it and re-installed. I have adobe shockwave object enabled. when I try to view video i get the error "you require flash plugin to watch this content";
I now also have the added issue that I can't download attchments from my e-mails.
can any one help?

It was easy if using IE9 disable ActiveX filtering.
One problem solved.
