Now that I switched to Firefox, how do I get all my favorites that I saved on Internet Explorer to come over
When I switched over yesterday from internet explorer to firefox, I lost all of my favorite websites that I had bookmarked. Is there a way to click and convert them all over, or are they all lost?

How can I import all my favorites (including folders within) from internet explorer?
In internet explorer my favorites are organised into folders but when I try to import these into firefox only the files that aren't in folders comes across, in this case 1.
If you have problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.<br />
That way you also preserve any sorting that you may have done in IE with the Favorites and the favorites won't end up in a "From Internet Explorer" folder, but will be appended at the end of the Bookmarks Menu folder.

A website I was using is now blank, but only in Firefox - how do I get it back?
I was using a website. I went to "x" out an ad at the bottom right side of the screen, and now that website it blocked. I have cleared my cookies and cache. Please advise.
Are you using any extensions that can block content?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again. -

I had to get my PC repaired so I just re-installed Firefox. How can I get my add-ons etc. I thought that when I logged in all my stuff would show up.

How do I get Flash to reload on second visit in Internet Explorer?
I am trying to create a webpage, and am having a bit of an issue with Internet Explorer. I created the home page in Dreamweaver and have a Flash animation on that page. It plays in the page window, without opening a pop-up window. It is set to Autoplay and Loop, which is all well and good and the first time you load it, it works just fine. The problem is, if you go to another page and then navigate back to the home page, the animation doesn't restart, it just sits on the first frame. Internet Explorer is the only browser that has this issue, it works fine in all the others (Chrome, Safari, and Mozilla).
So I am wondering what code do I need to put in to fix this problem? I have searched over the web and tried various methods, such as putting in coding to do no cache or trying to change the URL to create a random number with Flash, but so far nothing has worked. When I try to read PDF files I get a message that says" The Adobe Acrobat Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a web browser. Exit and try again. This happens with bot Internet Explorer and Mozilla. I can only open if I download the document to my desktop.

How can I get my Flash movie to load correctly in Internet Explorer?
I loaded an swf into an html. It loads fine in Safari, Firefox and Opera. However, in Internet Explorer the swf covers up part of the copy. I tried everything with the css to get it to work, but it nothing has helped. Among other things, I tried changing the z-index in the css, but that doesn't do anything. Is there a specific code I need to add to my html regarding the importing of the flash movie that would be specific to IE?

I have been using itunes all day and then it wanted me to install a newer version. When I did it said I can't because it's missing mdsvr80 or something so i downloaded that now it has another error. How do I get itunes back the way it was or to work?

I tried to update my phone, but it died so i had to restore it. The only back up i had was from 2 months ago. How do i get all the settings back from that huge gap of me not syncing it?
Please read before going through with this procedure.
If you really want your contact back and you did not do another iCloud backap since you deleted some of your contacts, you can do a hard reboot on both devices with iClouded contacts by holding down the home and lock buttons on each of them for 10 seconds ignoring the slide to turn off thing. Make sure you have iCloud contact services off before doing so. You can then go through the whole set up process until you get up to the backup part. You then press to restore from an iCloud backup (make sure you choose the right backup for the right phone). If you didn't make an iCloud backup before the contact incident, you will have to use your two-month-old iTunes backups. Each phone should have their contacts the way they were from your last backup. You then go into Settings>iCloud>and turn off contacts. You then can choose if you want to keep your current contacts or not. Turn this off on both phones just incase you add another iCloud device to the mix later on. Now your contact lists are no longer linked (Caution: side effect may include lack of edit button). You may now add and delete contacts as you please without it happening on your other phone.

I just did the IOS8 update on my Ipad retina which had 300 photos it asked me to do an iCloud back up which i did but it deleted all my previous photos and now i only have recent photos how do i get back all my old photos? It said befor that my icloud was out of storage but i didnt know it didnt have my old photos, they arnt back up on itunes either is there any way I can get them back?

Please see the bold. If you're out of icloud storage, then you won't be able to backup to icloud unless you purchase more storage, but yet you said you backup to icloud.
If you really did backup to icloud no data would be loss - sounds to me that it didn't backup since you had no more free icloud storage space.

I downloaded the full Ultimate Christmas. I have a corrupt song. I have Windows XP so I can not use the iTunes Cloud. It says that is the only way to re-download songs now is via the Cloud. How do I get a uncorrupted version of my song?
When I thing of the Thousands of dollars I have spent to get a 2000 song library and how Applle keeps screwing Windows users (no back-up of songs) I just think what a fool I was.I did think about that and if I have to I will do that, however there are about 50 songs. I have closed and reopened iTunes several times and I am sure that I have the latest version. It fails right away but I can click on the cloud download icon and download the song that it failed on ... therefore it is not that song "or any one song" causing the issue. Any ideas?
