[nQSError:75006] Unable to send MAIL Command.5.7.1 Client was not authentic

Hi,
We have configured SMTP server details in OBIEE 11g OEM to send mail from Agent. When we run Agents, we are getting the error
[nQSError:75006] Unable to send MAIL Command.5.7.1 Client was not authenticated
Did anyone face the issue? In that Case, Please give some inputs on that.

Hi Satya,
I would like to few more which I have done today.
I wanted to test telnet SMTP on the OBIEE Installed Machine and I was able to succeed also. Please find below what I did

  • [nQSError: 75006] Failed to send MAIL Command

    Hello,
We are on AIX and Siebel Analytics 7.8.5. We are having a weird issue with ibots. Wwe have around 800 ibots and only 65 of them fail with *[nQSError: 75006] Failed to send MAIL Command* this error. These ibots use to work good. I have created some test ibots and even those fail with the same error.
Does any one have an idea..how to resolve this?
    Thanks in advance

We are using Exchange Server. We are able to send e-mails to many usres....that means the credentials are correct. If we reschedule a delivered report..it is successful.
Eventually succeeded, but encountered and resolved errors...

  • Error in sending mail :  SMTPSendFailedExcept Client was not authenticated

    Hello all,
I am new to the forum,
I have a small program to send mail to Microsoft exchange server.
Now the server is enabled with https option.
Now i am getting error :
    com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated
    at com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.issueSendCommand(SMTPTransport.java:1668)

    at javax.mail.Transport.send0(Transport.java:191)
    at javax.mail.Transport.send(Transport.java:120)
    at SendEmail.main(SendEmail.java:55)
    there are two things:
As the program sends mail from a webpage, a user password used for login to the webpage is different from his mail server password, it is not possible to give a username and password to send mail / read mail from the exchange server.
Please give any other option without passing user name and password to the exchange server.

    1. Reconfigure the Exchange server to allow sending without authentication.
    2. Authenticate to the Exchange server using credentials specific to the web application itself.
Configure the Exchange server to allow the user with those credentials to send mail that appears
to be from any other user.
No, I don't know how to do any of that with Exchange; ask Microsoft.

The server probably wants you to use the STARTTLS command before you authenticate.
See the com.sun.mail.smtp package javadocs for the property to set to enable that.

    Hi.

    Tramsport Protocol: SMTP

    HAG,
you need to create a session object passing a valid authenticator. In other words,
    MyAuthenticator auth = new MyAuthenticator ();
Session session = Session.getInstance(props, auth);where MyAuthenticator is something like
    public class MyAuthenticator extends Authenticator{
      public PasswordAuthentication getPasswordAutentication(){
        return new PasswordAuthentication( "user", "password");
}You obviously need to replace username and password with data valid for your e-mail account.
    Hope this helps,

  • Mailx unable to send mails to outside world?

    hi
on a solaris sparc 9 environment mailx command is unable to send mails to the outside world. What could be the reason & needs to be checked?
    thanks

sounds basic, but what's your entry of malhost in /etc/hosts pointing to? If it's not there, add the entry with the IP address of your SMTP host.
when sending test mail from mailx, have another window open thats tail-ing the contents of /var/log/syslog - that usually contains good info about sendmail.
another thing worth checking is the rules on your SMTP gateway. If this is a new host, it may need adding to the list of authorised relay list. Also check to see if the SMTP host is alowed to relay mail outside of its own domain too.

  • Unable to send Mail from POP account

I have an Iphone 4 and have upgraded the IOS from 5-1 to 6.1.3. Since then I have been receiving all my mails but i have been unable to send mails from my POP account. the notification "Cannot Send Mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The receipient, "xxyyzz @ gmail . com " was rejected by the server" displayed. Please Help. the same thing happens when I configure my POP account on my Son's Iphone4, and there is no problem in receiving and sending mails from my Outlook. Please Help!!!!!
Can i revert back to IOS5.1.1?????

Contact your email provider and get the correct settings to use for the outgoing mail server (SMTP) on a mobile device. If it's email provided by your ISP, they have likely blocked email from outside their network from relaying to prevent spam.

  • Unable to SEND mail using Activesync in Exchange 2010 server on iPhone or Windows Mobile 6.1

    Hi All,
We've been setting up a new SBS 2011 server for a client this week. Everything is working, except the staff have 4 x iPhones to connect with Exchange ActiveSync.
There are 2 x iPhone 4's and 2 x iPhone 3Gs's. We can setup the Exchange accounts on each of the phones and they are all able to sync mail and calender etc with the server.
The problem we have is when any of them try to send mail from the phone, it gives an error : "Cannot Send Mail - An error occurred while delivering this message" and it sits in the outbox on the phone.
The newsgroups and forums are littered with people having issues with IOS4 and Exchange 2010 but most of these are from June-August 2010 when IOS4 version was around 4.00 or 4.01
A lot of these people had iPhone 3 handsets running with IOS 3.1.3 which worked with Exchange 2010 but when they upgraded to IOS 4, they had this problem sending mail.
It seems that for most of them, the fix came in the form of IOS version 4.1 which fixed the send issue for them.
We have a variety of Hansets and IOS versions (including an iPhone 3Gs running IOS 3.1.3) but are unable to send mail from any of them:
    iPhone 3Gs    IOS 3.1.3
    iPhone 3Gs    IOS 4.3.3
    iPhone 4       IOS 4.3.3
    iPhone 4       IOS 4.3.5
I was surprised that the iPhone 3Gs running 3.1.3 was unable to send either as nearly all the forums etc I read with this issue said the iPhone 3's worked with that IOS version.
Today we used a test iPhone 4 handset from our office to connect to an almost identical Small Business Server 2011 we setup two weeks ago for another client.
The test iPhone 4 was able to connect, Sync and Send email on that server but when set it to connect to this SBS 2011 server, it gets the "Cannot Send Mail" message the same as the others. So clearly the handset is working (on the other server at least),
it must be something misconfigured in this Exchange server right?
We ran the Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyser on the Exchange server and got green ticks across the board.
Outlook Web App and Outlook Anywhere both work normally. Everything we can test on the Exchange server works except sending from any iPhone.
Having said all that, I just setup a Windows Mobile 6.1 handset to sync with the Exchange 2010 server as a test, and it appears to have the same issue.
It will connect & Sync Mail, Contacts and Calendar but if trying to send an email from the phone, it will just sit in the outbox.
Does anyone have some insight into what the problem may be?

Further to this .. I found the solution on a MS Exchange 2010 support forum.
It was not a certificate or firewall issue, looks as thought the “Accepted Domains” in Exchange Mgmt Console –
Org Config – Hub Transport cannot have any spaces in the name field.
I had some spaces and the emails were not downloading fully and able to send. Once I removed the spaces from the Name field and
restarting the Exchange and IIS services emails were now being sent and received ok.

  • Unable to send mail- mail remains in outbox and I receive error message

Ok, I have used Mail for years. All of a sudden I am unable to send mail. The mail goes to the outbox and then I receive the following error message.
This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
The server "smtp.mac.com" refused to allow a connection on port 25.
I can connect to webmail of course and send mail that way.
    I receive mail perfectly.
    Not sure what to do...??
Thank you for any help with this.

Read the following article, which applies to all versions of Mac OS X (not just Mac OS X 10.4.2 and earlier as the article states) and can be useful for other mail accounts as well (not just .Mac):

    Hello,
Actually i checked the mail ID for WF-BATCH  using su01 .But i didnt find any mail ID for WF-BATCH then i added the email address of the user. Then we tried sending mail it was successfull.
But later i removed the email address what i entered in WF-BATCH user .Even after removing the email address also iam able to send the mails through workflow.
So iam confused whether it needs an mail address or not.But now we are able to send a mail to outlook through work flow but not able to send mails to GMAILor yahoo. For that we need to do any settings.
ABAPer is sending mails through work flow.
    Regards

  • IS THERE A SEND MAIL COMMAND?

I was wanting to know if there is a SEND MAIL COMMAND or something similiar to a SEND MAIL COMMAND that would automatically send a hard coded email message from an ORACLE FORM when a button on that form was pushed instead of opening up MICROSOFT OUTLOOK and having the user enter an email message and then hitting the SEND BUTTON.
I know that this can be done using SMTP code in a WHEN_BUTTON PRESSED TRIGGER. This happens when the last part of the mail host name is the same as the last part of the email address. For example, the mail host name on my PC is
'ERECEMH1-BH.EREC.ARMY.MIL' and my email address hard coded in the program is '[email protected]', the message gets sent. However if the
email address hard coded in the program is '[email protected]' then the hard coded email message in the program does not get sent.
What is causing this to not happen?

Since Im a 21 year retired US Air Force veteran I've decided to help you out.... :)
If you want to send email, with attachments, from an Oracle form implement one of these two methods.
    1) Heres how you send email with attachments from the database for 8i and 9i using smtp..
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/pl_sql/htdocs/Utl_Smtp_Sample.html
    2) but, heres a newer/simpler utl_mail 10g method ...
    http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14258/u_mail.htm
With the first example you will have to change the mail host in the code to a SMTP server in your organazation. I have not used the second newer 10g example but have heard it is easy. If you have 10g database you should probably use it.
From your email it is not clear what you are doing currently? Are you using outlook or are you using SMTP? If you are using SMTP then how exaclty are you doing that?
Disregarding all of the above for a moment... Are you sure its not getting "sent" or is just not getting "received". The email may actually be getting sent to an incorrect address, but since you are doing it, possibly, from outlook, there is no from email address to send the bounced email message back to...
There is no forms send_mail built-in command. Gotta use one of the options above or outlook.
You can call outlook from ole2 or do this...
    web.show_document('mailto:[email protected]?subject=Happy%20Birthday&body=I%20dont%20like%20green%20eggs%20and%20ham');
Using outlook to send email, or any client email software, is generally not a good idea. Its better to setup one of the options above, 1 or 2, and email from the database not the client.
And.. there's even a java mail solution...

I've just seen this message for the first time and it's showing on 10 devices.
What I really love about Apple Configurator is the copious amount of context driven help offered to you.
"Unable to send ClearPasscode command to device.
    The device was disconnected.
Check the USB connection to the device."

Yes, that is correct.  My spreadsheet has the following information in those cells if you want to compare yours on Monday:

I ended up bringing the Macbook Pro home with me after struggling with it for a half hour at the end of a long day. I called and within 5 minutes the problem was corrected.  The technician said they were getting calls all day.
