I can create all of the menus and I am able to hit the BURN button. Once the DVD menus are rendered, it begins rendering the video itself at which time it closes with no notification. I have reviewed historical discussions about this but I was hoping that somebody may have found a better way than reinstalling the entire operating system to fix the problem. I read some posts regarding an application named PACIFIST that helped to solve the same problem for iChat but that solution did not work for iDVD. Any suggestions?

  • How to create statistics for INDEX thru GUI

In DB13 i see messages MISSING_STATISTICS for some indexes.

    PR

    Hello PR,
at first let's say you should use the BRTools to create statistics for the indexes, because of the sample method (estimate, compute) - SAP has an algorithm to choose the right sample size.
    Have a look at here:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/f4/81e93a637bfd70e10000000a11402f/content.htm
If you want to create statistics manually out of the R/3 ... you can use the report "RSANAORA"
Transaction SE38 -> Report RSANAORA -> Choose your index and sample method... and go on.

  • TNS: getServer failed for index

    Hi everyone,
i have installed TREX 7 & have created 1 index... it works fine & i am able to search files from EP.....
but i created a identical index using the same CM (Different Folder of course)... but it doesn't get index... the index tries to Optimize the index & fails.... with "Index Optimization failed" status in the queue...
in the trace file i found "TNS: getServer failed for index xxxxx" repeatedly......
also i noticed that if i give a folder with a small number of files... the same index works fine.. but if i give a folder with around 100MB, then the indexing goes into Optimizing & fails.....
    can anyone please help....

It was a migration from one machine to another, where a TREX was already running. Then TREX was upgraded from
    SP 9 to SP 16.
Portal and KM has been upgraded as well from SP 9 to SP 16.
Couldn't it be a TREX misconfiguration due to the copy of TREX configuration files from one machine to another?

  • Need to create a page index for PDF

I'm not using the right term which is probably why a search comes up blank.
I want to create a page index that appears on the left of the content so people can direct select what page they would like to go to. I've seen this in files I've received but do not know what to call it. I thought it was an index and I created an in index in CS4 Acrobat Pro and then found it was for searching not for what I intended.
    Help is much appreciated.

All you need to do after making changes to the source document is generate a new PDF, open the PDF that contains the bookmarks, and replace the old pages with the new. In Acrobat 9 you do this by selecting "Document > Replace Pages". Any bookmarks, links, fields, etc. will be retained and only the underlying page contents will be replaced.

  • Unable to create foreign key: InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index

I am running an SQL(CE) script to create a DB. All script commands succeed, but the DB get "broken" after creating the last costaint: after running the script, viewing table properties of Table2 and clicking on "Manage relations" gives the following error: Unable to create foreign key: InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index. Wondering what does that refer to...
Here it is the script. Please note that no error is thrown by running the following queries (even from code that passing the queries by hand, one-by-one to sql server management studio).
    CREATE TABLE [table1] (
    [id_rubrica] numeric(18,0) NOT NULL
    , [id_campo] numeric(18,0) NOT NULL
    , [nome] nvarchar(100) NOT NULL

I know this is kind of old post, but did this realy solved your problem?
I'm getting this same error message after adding a FK constraint via UI on VS2008 Server Explorer.
I can add the constraint with no errors, but the constraint is not created on the DataSet wizard (strongly typed datasets on Win CE 6) and when I click "Manage Relations" on the "Table Properties" this error pop out:
"InvalidArgument=Value or '0' is not valid for 'index'.
    Parameter name: index"
Even after vreating my table with the relation in SQL the same occurs:
    CREATE TABLE pedidosRastreios (
idPedidoRastreio INT NOT NULL IDENTITY PRIMARY KEY,
idPedido INT NOT NULL CONSTRAINT FK_pedidosRastreios_pedidos REFERENCES pedidos(idPedido) ON DELETE CASCADE,

  • Unable to Create the Secondary Index for ODS, Please..

    Hi All,
      The ODS 'A' has two Secondary Indexes ('010' & '020') and I want to create a third index with characteristics X & Y.  X is there in both '010' & '020' Indexes.
RSA1 --> Info Provider --> Double click on ODS 'A' --> Right Click on last folder 'Indexes' --> Create --> '030' assigned by the system for the new Index.
I am having all the Characteristics in the left window after clicking the InfoObject Catalog and Characteristics
When I try to drag the 'X' from the left window to keep it under 'Indexes' folder or '030' Index, it gives 'NO'
symbol (a circle with cross line). I am not able to find the cause. I could drag it on to 'Key fields' of 'Data Fields' , but not 'Indexex' folder. Am I doing something wrong, please ?
    Thanks,
    Venkat.

This appeared in one of the earlier threads..
I think u need to go to se11..there enter the name of the active table of the ODS..name will be../BIC/A<ODS tech name>00'.
Once the table field appear after clicking display..
u will see button 'indexes' on right hand top..
click on that and then trying creating a new secondary index..
    cheers,

  • Trying to create reference for application in target server failed;

I have an ear file that I am trying to deploy using the "Deploy Enterprise Applications/Modules" page on the console.
The console gives me a message saying
"Trying to create reference for application in target server failed; Application tsom_oes is not found in config context"
tsom_oes is the name of my application, or it was. I've changed every instance of that name I can find and still it tells me it is looking for tsom_oes.
Can anyone tell me just what is looking for it and where it is expecting to find it?
I ran the verifier on the ear file and it did give me some errors, although none of them seem to relate to this. Specifically it told me it did not like the xml in a tld file I'm using
and it seems to think Hibernate needs a bunch of JBoss classes (none of which are referred to by my app anywhere). I'm guessing the verify is mistaken on those, but if anyone knows better I'd like to hear
Meanwhile I don't know why it won't deploy, nor why it is still looking for tsom_oes.
One more thing I must add: this ear file exposes portlets which I am hoping will be accessible through the portal server. The ear file works on JBoss, but I have added what I think are the necessary sun xml files to make it run here.
By 'exposes portlets' I mean that I have created a sun-portlet.xml and implemented the appropriate interfaces (all of which work on JBoss).
    Environment:
Sun App server 9.1 plus portal server 7.2 on Windows XP

Okay, I found the answer. I had hacked the domain.xml for this some time ago (this task has been off and on a lot) and forgotten.
I found the tsom_oes reference in there and removed it. Now it deploys.
Hopefully this helps someone else some day... probably not though, eh?

  • Failed to create client for Net8 Service

    Using Windows 2000.
I have tried to install Oracle Forms and Reports 6i and Oracle 8i Personal Edition six times now with no success. I install Forms and Reports first. However, I am unable to get past an error when installing the Reports. The error message states "Failed to create client for Net8 Service". I get the erro about 30 seconds into the installation of Reports. Forms installs just fine.
The procedure I am using can be found at course.com using the ISBN # 0-619-03549-8 and the instructions for the 2nd edition of the "Enhanced Guide to Oracle 8i" by Morrison and Morrison for Windows 2000. This is for a class that I am taking at DeVry.
I have followed the instructions to a "T" during the installation process and also for when I uninstall the software to try it again.
Is there a simple answer to why the software can't create the Client for Net8 Service?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi ...
I don't know whether urs and mine is the same scenario..
I have tried to install forms in windows XP also. getting the same error message. One more thing. I was trying install forms and reports. If 'm installing forms first,It'll get installed with out any probs. Then this error will come in reports installation and vice versa.. 'm getting it from 3 workstations. plssss help me....
Any help will b greatly appreciated..
    thanks.

  • Set generate flag to false for index, but index will still be created

I found that the generate flag for index will now be stored correct, even I close and reopen th ephysical model.
However, even i set the generate flag for an index to false, the DDL for the index will be generated. Any workaround?
    Additional hint:
    * The flag is considered if no physical model is opened.
    * To not open the physical model is no workaround because if the physical model is not opened, no sequences will be generated.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi David,
thanks for your answer. However, I do not see that this is a practicable workaround for me.
    Let me explain.
    * I have table A with a foreign key on column X to table B.
    * I have set that data modeler should create missing indexes for foreign keys (preference/data modeler: automatic index generation for foreign key constraints enabled)
    * If I generate DDL, I will get the missing index generated by data modeler (index name ends with FKX). That's fine.
    * But, now I have a combined index of column X and column Y on table a. this index would make the automatically generated index needless - because it is already covered by the combined index.
    * To avoid generating the needless index, I design an index on column X and set the flag for generation to false.
    * If I have designed the index on column X, data modeler does not generate the missing index. However, the needless index will be generated even the flag is set to false.
Of course I can exclude the index from the generation in the generations dialog, but from my point of view I already decided not to generate the index in the relational model. In case the physical model has not been opened, the indexes having generate equals to false are excluded from the generation (could also be seen in generation dialog).

  • Creating Thumbnail for asset FAIL

    Hi!
We recently installed FCS and have begun to do some testing. We have "Edit Proxies" enabled. When we upload small FCP projects everything works fine and edit proxies are created. If we upload a FCP project with large media files, Final Cut server seems to be trying to create the Thumbnail for the large media file before it has uploaded to the server. This creates an error (FAIL) in the Search all jobs window. After that, FCS doesn't attempt to create either Edit proxy or Clip proxy for that file. It moves on to the next media file in the FCP project. If this is a small file, FCS successfully creates proxies for that file. Anybody that can give us some help with this?
    Thanks in advance
    Patrik

Verify that you can actually open the files in Quicktime on the Mac running the Final Cut Server (Server Software). Do this by logging on via Apple Remote Desktop, Screen Sharing, or via the KVM switch if your system is in a server room.
If you can successfully open/read/playback the Decklink codecs directly off the server then you can eliminate that. I would then try to transcode the file using the copy of Compressor that's on the FCSvr, this will simulate a proxy encode.
