I got a message from Skype saying that my phone subscription was going to be cancelled because my credit card was about to expire. I updated my credit card information, but my subscription expired nonetheless. I reactivated my account, but was only given the option to buy a 3-month subscription for my Skype phone number, not a one-year subscription which is cheaper and which is what I had and want again. This is very frustrating as I was assured via an email exchange with an online support person (an option that doesn't seem to exist any more), that everything would be fine and there would be no interruption to my account. The interruption was easy enough to recover, but now I fear that I'm locked into a 3-month auto-renewal subscription rather than a year subscription. Am I?

This is because the iPad 2 does not mirror the display. Only the iPad 3rd generation or higher does.

Make sure when you are setting up your e-mail account that you enter in your entire e-mail address. If you have a Yahoo (includes any e-mail account associated with Yahoo), G-mail, or Aol after entering in your password it should automatically set up. Any other e-mail address you will have to manually set the account up.

You can not login into iTunes or the App Store using VPP credentials. You must purchase all apps/book/etc. from the VPP website. Then you can redeem the codes thru itunes/app store or import the codes thru apple configurator. (It will not affect any of the apps you already have but the id can only be used for VPP.)

Safari 5.1.2 won't open in lion and mail opens but can't get email

I turned on my computer the otherday and I couldn't get safari to open. When I click on it it just bounces in the dock for hours. I tryed to do a software update, which included updating safari, but my computer got stuck in the installing screen and after a full night I eventually had to hold the power button. Also my mail is opening but can't recieve emails and the only way to close it is by force quitting it. I ran Onyx and was able to get safari and mail working and was also able to install the update, but about an hour later it started doing the same thing. Any help?

So you have these podcasts downloaded and stored in your iTunes library is that correct? However, they will not sync with the device? Are these video or audio podcasts?
How is your Nano currently configured to sync podcasts? You can check this by viewing the iPod's Podcasts configuration tab in iTunes. To view this tab, plug your iPod in and select it from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes to bring yourself to the Summary tab that now shows to the right. Look for the Podcasts tab along the top and select it. Here you can configure how and what Podcasts are synced.
If you do happen to make any changes from under this tab, be sure to hit the Apply button to sync the updated changes to the Nano.

Does the dock manufacture say it is compatible with the 5G iPod with iOS 6.0.1?
Have you went to the manufacturer's support site? Contacted them?
Try resetting the dock. How you do that depends upon the dock

It looks like your printer isn't on the list of air print enabled printers. It'll still work, you just need to do some tweaking.
You can see if samsung has any apps to enable printing.
or
You can look into a third party app like Print n Share or Print Central.
Then you can print from your iPad.

Is the store frozen i.e. can you navigate within that category ? You could try closing the iBooks app completely and then re-open it and see if it then works : from the home screen (i.e. not with iBooks 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iBooks app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

I want to download Ffox 4, but can only get Ffox 5 from website

Ffox 5 is not compatible with too many of the plugins, etc that I had before, I want to revert to Ffox 4 but that option does not seem to appear on the website.
My norton plugin "identity safe" is not compatible and that is too valuable a tool for me to do without.

Actually for compatibility it is the other way.
Anyways Norton has actually tried to get a update patch out for Firefox 5.0 back on Tuesday (versus taking some six weeks) when Firefox 5.0 was released. However I think some say the toolbar may not work if patch was installed before Firefox 5.0 and not after.
