Number for voicemail is locked/unchangeable -- please fix in future version
The speeddial button in the lower right corner of the Phone App (not sure if it's call an app ...) that's suppose to call the number of the carriers voicemail (not visual!) can not be changed ...!
That's a problem as I've switch to a new carrier (with new SIM). Pressing the button dials the previous carriers voicemail. Have the problem with both iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3.1.
I've tried the storing the number with the 5005*86[number for voicemail]# - and sure it's stored as seen with the #500586# but the button still dials the old carriers voicemail!
The carrier says it's locked by Apple, that it's unchangeable. That *****
Apple, if this is true please fix this in future version of iOS Or please tell me how I can store the new, correct number for voicemail (no, not in addressbook - on the speeddial button).

Just as the subject says. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest flash player update three times within the last three days and I've updated Firefox twice within that same timeframe. Each time I update the player, my videos and flash ads stop hanging my browser, but then a day later flash ads or videos start freezing Firefox again. I'm pretty sure I've isolated it as a Flash player problem, too, because today I tried going back to using IE and installed the latest Flash player and it started hanging IE, as well. Also, I logged on to this forum and others and have seen a few dozen people posting discussions on the exact same issue. I've had very good experiences with Flash up to this point, but this is really getting annoying. And since so many websites now incorporate flash into their ads, it means I don't even have to watch a video to cause a hang. Simply loading a site with a flash ad does it.
I am running Windows 7 on a 64-bit platform. Please fix this so that I can surf the internet for more than ten minutes without my browser freezing on me.
John Whitebigjt_2 Well, don't be too hard on yourself. With Windows coming out almost back to back with Vista (4 versions) and now Win7, plus IE7, IE8 and adding more restrictions for security, no one can keep up with it all. On top of that you have
the Uninstall process, Windows uninstalls the old before adding the new. Adobe and Java do not remove the old when installing the new. And on it goes. If you don't know, you don't know. Not to mention the browser wars:-), you know the

Actually I think you did a great job. Also you probably used the Adobe uninstaller at one time and the installer, that would
have been the only way you would have gotten the DLM.

However, when you go to that install link above, uncheck the box if you don't want the Google Toolbar, then click on Different operating system or browser?, select your OS, continue, click on the circle "Flash Player 10 for Windows-other browsers,
uncheck the Google Toolbar if not wanted, agree and install now. Then Reboot.
Also, you might have less trouble Disabling all extensions, Add-ons, plug-ins in FF before installing. Then you can Enable
them afterwards. Some FF add ons are known to cause install problems.

Need billing number for a real person that can fix problems
I got Fios a few months ago. A new account was set up for Fios but I'm still being billed for DSL. I've been trying to get the problem fixed for months. The first month they credited back the Fios charge. The second month they said they would send someone out to make changes to transfer my copper line number to Fios but the person never came. I've called several times after that to get the problem fixed. This month they turned off Fios so I paid to have it turned back on in addition to paying my phone and DSL bill. I've been on the phone several times for hours with people that can't do anything to help so they transfer me to others or tell me to call back the next day because their shift is over or the person that can really help me has different hours. If anyone has the phone number to someone that actually fixed a convoluted problem, please message me. I'll go postal if I have to explain my problem to another series of people that can't do a thing to help me.

Like the thread topic says. I need help getting Aperture onto my new macbook pro that does not have a drive. I have no need for a drive after this to be honest just need my programs back on it. Thanks.
Two options:
Make a disk image or a clone of the installer CD on your Mac that has a super drive - you can create a disk image using Disk Utility or use Carbon Copy Cloner (if you have it) to clone the DVD to a thumbsdrive. Then run the installer on your MBY from this copy.
Or download the Trial Installer and install from there:
Download the Aperture 3.1 Trial. http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/Aperture/061-8328 .20101020.AprE3/ApertureTrial3.1.dmg
Open the Aperture Trial disc image.
Double-click the "Aperture Trial.mpkg" file.
Follow the onscreen instructions to install Aperture.
After the installation completes, choose Software Update from the Apple () menu.
Install the Aperture 3.4 update from the list of available updates.

Guys try this; it worked for me.
I recently bought MacBook Pro 15" & updated everything. All worked well till I started iTunes. The computer froze & I had to press the power button. This happenned again & again.
This is what I did & you too can try it. It's risk-free:
Go > Home > Music
Rename the folder "iTunes" to anything, e.g. "iTunes-old"
Start iTunes, it will work normally and will create a new folder "iTunes"
"iTunes-old" is still there. If you need something from it, take it, otherwise you may delete the folder.

How can I get my serial number for Lightroom 3? I can't find my proof of purchase
I dealt with your chat staff for hours and did not get anywhere but upset. I have uploaded Lightroom 4.4 as a trial version. I purchased Lightroom 4 and provide my serial number then it asks for the prior serial number for Lightroom 3. The serial number that I have has letters and numbers and will not work. Please provide me with a serial number so that I may complete my install. Please provide a phone number that can help me with this request.
ThanksAs noted by JimHess the Educational version comes with a CODE and INSTRUCTION for what you need to do to get a valid serial number.
You must follow those instructions to get a valid serial number for LR 3.
But I must add that if you had lightroom 3 since it was released, even the educational version, you must of at one time gotten the serial number for it.
I'm not sure, since that version is now at least 4 years old (my copy is dated 2009), but I doubt Adobe is still running the serial number redemption service for lightroom 3.
So if you can't find the serial number for that version of LR 3 you will need to buy a Full Version of either LR 4 or LR 5 -

KatrinaThe serial number for Photoshop Elements should be valid for both PC and Mac. PSE is one of the few applications that allows the same license for different platforms.
You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

Tell me Please what is the your planning about this issue.Skype numbers are based on availability which can be due to contracts and whether a particular country authorizes Skype numbers to exist in their country. If Skype is unable to obtain numbers in a particular country, I highly doubt there is much than can be done.

You cannot lock it by the serial number. Report it to your carrier and the police. You said that the thief knows your pass code. Does that mean that the thief was a personal friend who would be close enough to you to know what your code was? If that is the case, ask your friend to return your phone.

The issue: Outlook to iPhone sync failure – Sync suddenly stopped working for calendar events but continued for contacts and notes. Finally Fixed!!!

The cause: It is now clear what caused this problem. For years I had several “all-day” events in my Outlook calendar (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). In May 2012 I decided to make some of them one hour events so I could add alerts to remind me of the event. I did this by dragging them in Outlook to the time I wanted and expanding them to the time slot desired and then adding the alarm.
The symptom: Syncing stopped working for the calendar but continued working for contacts and notes. I didn’t realize sync was failing until months later when I missed two very important phone calls, so when I noticed it the cause was not obvious.
The failed attempts: I’m head of a software firm and my calendar sync is a crucial to my business life so I took this on with a vengeance. From a quick look at events in Outlook and the iPhone I could see that the problem started in May 2012. Events before May were in both Outlook and the iPhone but events after May were only one or the other. Unfortunately I had changed several other things at the same time relating to other events so again the cause was not obvious. MANY calls with AppleCare proved them incompetent so my internal IT guys assisted trying many things. We tried a huge number of calendar changes and several versions of iTunes, iPhone OS and Office as well as both iPhone 4 and 5, all without success.
The fix: After 18 months of frustration, MANY hundreds of $ expense and MANY hours of wasted time I saw a blog that had a calendar sync problem and it indicated all day events were related. I changed the display of the Outlook calendar to the list view, added columns so I could see “all day” event check marks as well as times of events, sorted on the “all day” event column to move them to the top, and for all events that were “all day” events AND had a start and end time, I removed recurrence and then added the annual recurrence back…
After I fixed all events that had BOTH “all day” set and had a start/end time, I tried another sync. It synced for the first time in 18 months!

Hi, first a quick rant: I'm an EXTREMELY frustrated new user. I have spent the last hour trying to figure out what I just purchased and what I can do to get an explaination, but whoever created this website did so without a new user in mind. Quickly: I need help trying to determine what I just purchased and what to do from here. As Quickly as I can explain what's going on: My friend in Croatia told me he spent $60 for unlimited calling. He can apparently call anywhere to phones - as we made several calls to landlines in both the states and england from his computer. We've since left his place. As I'm traveling to many countries, I figured this was a great idea, I'll pay up front instead of purchasing credits. I whipped out my credit card and paid $60 after chosing a number. After about an hour, the transaction cleared on my account with a renewal in 12 months. I went to make a call and it said I didn't have enough credit. After trying to figure out what happened all I can determine is that I might have paid for the use of a phone number for 12 months and not a subscription. Now of course after trying for several hours trying to find out how to contact Microsoft or Skype - or Whatever help center - for the past hour and finding they deflect all help to their help pages that comes nowhere NEAR helping me or explaining what has happened - and if I made a mistake how to correct it. I apparently need to spend more money for a premium account to get actual advice or any kind of resolution. Any company that takes money and expects a new user just to GET it, without providing some human interaction is a horrid company. So I paid for something I didn't want and can't use. I THINK.
