Number of apps can install

How many apps can be installed ?
How many pages are allowed ?
I have 33 apps install and occupied 9 pages, meaning 16 x 9 icons, 144 altogether.
When I tried to download some more apps, page 10 never appear at all.
Tried few times but still the same.
it seems like maximum number of pages are 9.
Am I right ?
Anybody having the same problems ?

so anybody send feedback to Apple support regarding the 9 page limit? I was confronted with the same problem today. I had to delete some apps and games to accommodate the new programs I bought. What's with the restriction? We should only be restricted by the memory. I bought an 8GB 3G iPhone and still have a lot of space to fill up with more apps (games). If anybody, got their feedback answered please post it here for others so that we'll know if Apple is doing anything about it. Thanks.

Give ZEN app file system rights so can install without user login

Is it possible to give an app rights to the file system on a Netware
box to find the msi it needs to install even if there isn't a user
logged in to the workstation?
We have an app associated with workstations and when we tried to push
it a number of installs failed because the users were logging on
workstation only.
This is also relevant to apps which install as "unsecure system user"
because they do not inherit the logged-in user's Netware file system
rights. In the past we've given the [public] trustee rights in order to
get round this problem but would like a better solution.

This means that at some time you had the iWork ’09 trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

I have an M425dw, is there a limit to the number of apps I can install or am I just limited by how many are actually available for my machine?
If I install more apps will it use up memory on the printer and slow the printer down like when my phone has lots and lots of apps installed?

The only limitation is the number of apps available for the printer!
The only thing that is actually stored on the printer are the links to the apps. So the number of apps you choose to put on there will not slow down the printer 's memory in any significant manner. Enjoy!

Hi I hope some one can tell me step by step how to fix windows 8.1, I can't update any of my Apps and can't install any new apps now and I get error code 0x80073cf9? But my problem is different than most of the other FIXES I read about, because nothing
fixes my problem to be able to install new Apps and get app updates and stop getting that error code?

Fixed the problem by going to settings/store and logging out with apple ID. Then logged back in with password and updates, apps, and iTunes store seem to work ok now.

You are allowed to have two working installations so you do not have to disable the original if you prefer to have a backup. Otherwise, to disable you can just sign out thru the CC manager.

I have just tried to install the full version of Anthill to my iPod touch Gen 4. I get a message on the iPod saying "Anthill failed to install" and an error on the computer "OxE8000004". I already had Anthill Free installed so deleted it in case it was interferring with the new download. I can install other free apps but now can't even install Anthill Free. I have tried the 7 resolution steps advised by Apple and have totally run out of ideas as to what I can try next. Is there a limit to the number of apps that can be Hidden from view in Family Sharing?

I've just set up a Family Share and have issued invitations to a couple of family members.
I'm trying to take full advantage of the "Hide" feature that's available in the Purchased list in the App Store app, mostly to hide really old apps that I haven't used since the beginning of time. These apps have been long gone from any of my iOS devices, and it has always bugged me that they still appeared in my Purchased list. It's pretty cool that Family Sharing allows people to hide some of their app purchases from others in the group, as this also allows folks to hide apps that they also don't want to see in our own lists.
The first couple of dozen apps that I decided to hide stayed hidden. However: now, no matter what I try, I can't hide any more apps. I swipe on an app to reveal the Hide button; tap the button; the app disappears from the list; I go to another screen in the app; I return to my Purchased list: and the most recent Hidden apps are still listed.
This is driving me nuts. I'm wondering if Apple has imposed a limit on the number of apps that anyone can hide; or if there's something I can do to force a hidden app to stay hidden.
Advice will be gratefully accepted.

Not a bad suggestion, but it does not explain why an app refuses to REMAIN hidden on my iPhone -- as I explained in my first post:

Given the clunkiness and general unreliability of iCloud - which rarely "just works" - it doesn't surprise me that hiding an app on one device doesn't mean the same app will be hidden immediately on other devices logged into the same account. I've learned to be patient and wait hours for changes to anything synced via iCloud to be reflected on other devices in the sync loop. But again, this in now way explains why apps were not staying hidden on the device that was used to hide them.
I've finally managed to hide all the apps I wanted hidden, after many hours of waiting and multiple attempts at hiding. I am in no way confident that these apps are going to REMAIN hidden permanently, or until I choose to unhide some of them; only time will tell if iCloud decides to behave and accept my series of "Hide this app" commands to be honoured permanently!

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if you can then update the app.
If you do delete the app then you should be able to re-download your ibook purchases via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app. But in case some of them are no longer available in the store and/or you have PDFs or epubs in it, then you could first connect it to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) which should copy them over to the Books part of your iTunes library so that you have your own copy of them and can sync them back (even though they aren't iTunes purchases it should also copy over any PDFs or epubs that you have in the iBooks app)
