Number of authorized devices allowed?

On my one account how many "authorized devices" can I have? Can I have several ipods, shuffles, laptops or is there a max?

You can connect as many iPods as you like and load them with your purchases but you can only have 5 computers (laptops, desktops etc.) authorised at any one time to use content from your iTunes Store account: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

You can Deauthorize all the Computers and authorize the Computer you are using now.

Anyway, since the PC crash I bought an iMac and my office Mac was replaced by a MacBook pro. I moved my iTunes files from my office Mac to my MacBook. I moved my PC iTunes files to my iMac from my unaffected external hard drive.
I am now totally confused regarding what is authorized and what is not! Only three devices appear in my iTunes account. I "removed" the PC. Still I am told that I can't download MY apps to my new iMac because I have 5 authorized computers. Really? Actually I have NO authorized computers. Only one that has my apps still (my office Mac).
If I deauthorize all I know I can start fresh. That makes sense. What has be balking at the idea is the "one time per year" deauthorization! What is the point? Give me an accurate list allow me to deauthorization and authorize the devices I wish. It is MY account with MY purchases,

It will allow me transfer purchased songs but not songs I had that were downloaded off of my CD's. Where do I access that library and how do i get it back on iTunes? It basically copied all my itunes files from my C drive onto ipod in my efforts to move the library.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? [SOLVED] Unable to determine major/minor number of root device - USB

I installed Arch on a USB harddrive of mine from within VirtualBox with the intention of running the installation (via the drive) on a laptop in my house. I passed through the drive through by creating a special vmdk (here - it's for "expert users only". ) and installed Arch on it by booting off the Arch 2011.08.19 iso and following the instructions. I do recall the installer complaining because /sbin/mkinitcpio was missing, so I copied over the one from the host (which is also an up-to-date Arch system). After that, everything worked and I was able to boot the drive within virtualbox.
Then I went and plugged it in to another laptop in the house and, surprisingly (for me at least), it got past GRUB. My joy was short-lived, because it failed just a bit later:

So I googled around for a while and plugged it back in to my computer, booted it up in virtualbox, and added "usb" to the HOOKS array right after udev in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf. Then I rebuilt the initramfs:
# mkinitcpio -p linux
So I plugged it back into the laptop, booted it, and got the same error.
Later, in an attempt to isolate the problem, I removed "sata" from HOOKS, ran the same mkinitcpio command again, and rebooted the VM. I got what looked like the same error as the one above. yay. So I guess the usb hook isn't being loaded or something like that. (I've since added the "sata" hook back and rebuilt the initramfs so I can mess around in the VM )
I've tried removing autodetect from HOOKS (saw that in some threads) and trying different USB ports on the laptop, but nothing seems to be working. I also checked to see if virtualbox was providing a bogus uuid or something, but the one it's specifying seems to be correct - I looked in my computer's /dev/disk/by-uuid and it matched.
Info on the drive (first partition is /boot, second is swap (derp!), third is /, and fourth is /home):

How to disable an iMessage phone number on selective devices?

I am using an iPhone 5S along with family sharing and my other family members(with their multiple other Apple devices including iPhone 5c, iPad Air, and iPhone 6) have the option to receive and send messages using my phone number. So, I was wondering if there is a way to remove my phone number from their devices to they no longer have the option to use my phone number from their devices.

Go to said device - settings - imessage : can be reached at and start a new convo - remove/uncheck your number and apple id.

Using a Skype Number on Multiple Devices

I want to get a Skype number. I currently use Skype on my desktop and laptop computers. I will add the Skype Android app to my mobile phone. When I buy the Skype number, can I use it on all 3 devices or do I need a separate number for each device? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. This is what I suspected, but needed confirmation.
An extension to this question, then, is do all devices (desktop, laptop, mobile phone) all ring simultaneously when a call is received?
I suspect that it does and I can answer on any of the devices, but I want to be sure.
I am really new to this, but in light of near future travel plans, Skype will solve numerous communications issues on several levels.

I had to rebuild my iTunes Library by dragging my music folders in my iTunes Media into the iTunes Application and rebuild my playlists manually. After plugging my iPhone 5 into the computer USB, it immediately recognized my iPhone 5, showing: last backups, space left on my iPhone & all options available. I then checked the box to manually manage music etc. The problem I am now having is that when I actually try to drag music from my iTunes to my phone a prompt comes up saying that my iPhone is not an authorized device. What should I do? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!!

iOS runs on iPads and iPhones; OS X runs on Macs.
Given your situation, I’d highly recommended that you purchase a SATA-to-USB adapter, so that you can test both your old disk and your new disk externally, since it might be that the problem is due to a faulty internal SATA cable rather than due to faulty disks.

Go to your account in the iTunes Store and look for the De-authorise All button in your account's details. Use the De-authorise All and then authorise the PCs you still have.

In the past I could see the movies in iTunes with the cover photo and sync to the other devices but now there is a listing a movies with no cover photos and in fact if I try to view the movie on the MacBook Pro it cannot be found unless I download it.

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

Maximum Number of Registered Devices - 10000
1) We just added some more devices that changed to number of devices to:
Sub1-CMG (used by 10050 devices)
Sub2-CMG (used by 4475 devices)
So, some of the new devices did not get registered with CallManager.
2) We changed the Maximum Number of Registered Devices to 12000
When we checked the new devices, there were still some that were not registered.
3) If we move the new devices to Sub2-CMG they register with CallManager.
Any thoughts here?

Since you are on CUCM 7, this means your cluster is running on MCS servers, from memory I think the top level MCS server in CUCM appliance mode supported upto 7500 phones per server. So you may be running into a hardware limit. Although you can configure I guess upto 15000 phones in the CUCM service parameter but still the MCS appliance mode had the 7500 phone/server limit with a max of 30,000 phones per cluster.
So either you have a MCS 7845 I2 or H2 the limit is 7500 per server (I am guessing you have top model of the MCS from number of phones you have otherwise limit will be further lower):

Existing code is

   translate bin_tab from code page '1100'.
I am getting this error for above statement.
Class CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE should be used but not sure about the syntax.

Authorisations only applies to computers, not to devices. Have you had other computers in the past and/or updated the OS on your current computers without deauthorising them ? You can safely 'deauthorise all' computers as described on the page that you posted from, it doesn't remove any content from them, it just means that you won't be able to use your iTunes downloads on them until you reauthorise them (which you should be able to do immediately).

i am trying to implement a 360 degree appraisal using OSA framework(part appraisal).
according to F1 help:
If you have selected only the Part Appraiser (PAPP) and/or Importance
Part Appraisal (PWGT) columns in an appraisal template, this is a 360°
appraisal, and the SAP system does not restrict the number of part
appraisers allowed.
in my template, only have PAPP column , but the maximun number of part appraisers allowed is still set to 18. what's wrong? it should be no limit.
i tried to create a document(using phap_create_pa) , the 18 limitation stop me to add more part appraiser.
i am so confused, does that mean we can not have a REAL 360 appraisal without limitation for part appraiser?

i traced into the program, in funciton module
HRHAP_0DOC_MAX_NO_PART_APPER
it's quite clear, there is no special logic for 360 appraisal , the formula is always set to :
no_of_part_appraisers = ( c_column_max_number - l_total_columns )
DIV l_part_columns.
so i think it's not possible to use OSA to depict an REAL 360 appraisal without maximum appraiser limitation.
the maxi number is (18 -1) / 1 = 17
which is really a pitty...
