  • Cost Component Structure (OKTZ) Issue - Max number of cost fields reached

    Hello.
    I'm having this issue in OKTZ when adding new cost component in an exisiting cost component structure. it says "maximum number of cost fields reached (40)".
    not sure what to do with this.
    please see screenshot
    http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/1700/oktz.jpg

    Hi Andrew,
    When yo create the Cost Components in the Cost Component Structure, inside each Cost Component, there will be properties relating to whether the Cost in that Cost Component is Fixed / Variable, relevant to Inventory Valuation or not etc.
    To view these options...Go to OKTZ, select the line of your Cost Component Structure, double click on "Cost Component with Attributes" in the left side navigation. Now, you will be able to see  the list Cost Components on right hand side. If you double click on any Cost Component, you will see the properties of that Cost Component.
    There, you can see ther radio buttons "Variable Costs" and "Fixed and Variable Costs".
    Now, in Standard SAP, you will be able to create a maximum 40 Cost Components. The behaviour of the system goes like this.... If one Cost Component is only "Variable Cost", it will take the space of one Cost Component out of the maximum 40. If  one Cost Component is of "Fixed and Variable Costs", then it will take the space of two Cost Components out of the maximum 40. That means, if all of your Cost Components are "Fixed and Variable", then you will be able to create only 20 Cost Components.
    You can find the SAP explanation regarding this in the IMG Documentation...
    SPROControllingProduct Cost ControllingProduct Cost PlanningBasic Settings for Material Costing--Define Cost Component Structure. Check the IMG Documentation there to find the following text...
    Structure of the Cost Components in a Cost Component Split
    The cost components are listed in a cost component structure that can contain up to 40 cost components (cost fields).
    You can create up to 40 cost components that contain variable costs.
    For cost components that contain full costs, the system creates a second cost field for the fixed costs. This means that you can create no more than 20 cost components that are full costs.
    Revert back for further explanation...

  • Determine number in a field based on word-choice in a drop-down menu

    I'm trying to insert a number in a field based on a word I've chosen in a drop-down menu.
    Example:
    I have a drop-down menu named "Fruits". In that menu is "Orange", "Apple" and "Banana".
    I have a different field called "Price". If the user selects "Orange" in the "Fruits" drop-down, the value of "Price" is 10. If the user selects "Apple" the value of "Price" is 15. If the user selects "Banana" the value of "Price" is 20.
    Been working with this for awhile, and feel like Im very close, but can't get it to work. If someone could help me I'd be grateful.
    Thanks,
    T.

    Thanks to both of you. I realize this is more complex than I thought, and that I didn't state my challenge correctly. Let me try again:
    I have a number of textual items in a dropdown, let's say "Apples", "Bananas" and "Cherries".
    I have an array of form fields, with different properites expressed as a numeric value, say: "Size", "Weight", and "Cost".
    Each of the items in the dropdown has a value for each of the fields.
    So when I select an item from the drop-down I want to populate the entire array from the values associated with the items in the drop down. Different items will fill the array of values (I actually have 28 properties in the array and about 7 items in the drop-down). The items will always have a value for all the properties in the array, but I want the user to be able to override all entries. So enter custom text in the drop-down, which would provide blank fields in the array, which could also be overwritten by the user.
    Hope that makes sense, and I apologize for my earlier attempt at describing this. It's hard enough to do in plain English, there's no way I can make this happen in Javascript, LOL!
    Thanks in advance for your patience and help.

  • Auto Population of number of packages field in the delivery document

    I have a requirement wherein the number of packages field (LIKP-ANZPK) field needs to be populated automatically in the delivery document. I have maintained the packing instruction(POP1) and assigned the instruction to respective material(POF1). Is there anyway that standard SAP calculates the number of packages from POP1/POF1 and populates it into the delivery document?
    It would be helpfull if someone can let me know if this scenario is possible via standard SAP config? If yes what other configs should i setup?
    Thanks,
    Harish

    As far as i know SAP does not perform this calculation based on POP1/POF1 and this is not controlled in Configuration.  It is simply performed automatically by the system by calculating the number of HU's in the "Pack Screen" of the Delivery.
    thanks,

  • Population of Number of packages field(LIKP-ANZPK) in delivery document

    Hi,
    We have a requirement from our client that the number of packages field needs to be populated in the delivery document automatically.
    Scenario:
    The plant is a warehouse managed plant. The delivery document will be created and the TO will be created automaticaly and confirmed. On confirmation of the transfer order the delivery document should be updated with the number of packages field.
    We have setup the packing instructions using POP1. The number of materials in one carton will be mainatined through POF1(O/P type STOC with condition record for material/PLant/Sloc)
    We need information on any standard SAP program which will calculate the total number of cartons/Packing boxes required for the materials specified in the delivery document and this should be populated in the number of packages field in delivery document.
    Would appreciate help from someone who has worked on such a scenario.
    Thanks,
    Harish

    Hi,
    If you use pick and pack LM45 to pack the items as you pick when the TO is confirmed this field automatically updates with the number of HU used and you get an accurate packing hierarchy.

  • Hide Tab order number in form fields

    Hi,
    In Acrobat 7.0 Professional (I know it's old), how do you hide the the tab order number in form fields you create? When I type in the form fields I've created, the tab order shows up on screen and on the hardcopy printed document.
    HELP!
    Thanks!

    This is what I'm seeing, however I think we would like to know how to change the order.
    For instance, I have formatted the form to have two columns of data entry: Personal info in column 1, product info in column 2. When the user types their name in column 1, row 1 for "Name" then go to tab down to "Email", it actually tabs right to column 2, row 1, "Product Year." Altering the tab order would fix this problem.
    Thanks!

  • Batch process to create large number of metadata fields in UCM?

    Is there any kind of scripting available to create a large number of metadata fields in UCM?.
    thanks

    I can give you a code in java, which adds two metadata fields. It's quite hardcoded, but you could use it as a basis for a script:
    String FIELD1_NAME = "xsecretKey";
    String FIELD2_NAME = "xattachmentID";
    if (binder == null)
    binder = new DataBinder(SharedObjects.getSafeEnvironment());
    String maxOrderQuery = "select MAX(dOrder) as dOrder from DocMetaDefinition";
    try
    String val = loader.getDBConfigValue(COMPONENT_NAME, COMPONENT_SUBNAME, null);
    //binder.putLocal("dName", FIELD1_NAME);
    binder.putLocal("dName", FIELD2_NAME);
    ResultSet tempRs = ws.createResultSet("Qmetadef", binder);
    if (val == null || tempRs.isEmpty())
    ResultSet rset = ws.createResultSetSQL(maxOrderQuery);
    String orderStr = ResultSetUtils.getValue(rset, "dOrder");
    int order = NumberUtils.parseInteger(orderStr, 0);
    setNewFieldParams(binder, "BigText", "secretKey", "<$dateCurrent()*1$>");
    addNewMetadataField(FIELD1_NAME, binder, ++order, null, null, ws, cxt);
    setNewFieldParams(binder, "Text", "attachmentID", null);
    addNewMetadataField(FIELD2_NAME, binder, ++order, null, null, ws, cxt);
    rset = ws.createResultSetSQL("select * from DocMeta where dID=0");
    if (!testResultSetFieldExists(rset, FIELD1_NAME))
    FieldInfo fi[] = loader.createFieldInfo(new String[] {
    FIELD1_NAME
    }, 200);
    //fi[0].m_type = 5;
    ws.alterTable("DocMeta", fi, null, new String[] {
    "dName"
    if (!testResultSetFieldExists(rset, FIELD2_NAME))
    FieldInfo fi[] = loader.createFieldInfo(new String[] {
    FIELD2_NAME
    }, 30);
    //fi[0].m_type = 3;
    ws.alterTable("DocMeta", fi, null, new String[] {
    "dName"
    loader.setDBConfigValue(COMPONENT_NAME, COMPONENT_SUBNAME, "7.0", "1");
    catch (Exception e)
    SystemUtils.dumpException(null, e);

    I am having trouble using getLong to get an Oracle Number(8,2) field from ResultSet. The error message starts with:

    kaffe.utilNotImplemented may be being thrown internally by your JDK.. AFAIK the Kaffe JDK is only JAVA 1.1 compatible and your driver may require JAVA 2.

  • Creating QRY and need Serial Number Table for Field SERNR

    I am creating a SQVI Query that will give me all material in stock and their serial number or batch number. I was able to create the batch number by using:
    LQUA-WERKS = Plant
    LQUA-MATNR = Part Number
    LQUA-LGPLA = Storage Bin
    LQUA-VERME = Available Stock
    LQUA-WDATU = Date of Goods Receipt
    LQUA-BDATU = Date of Last Movement
    LQUA-LGTYP = Storage Type
    LQUA-EDATU = Date of Last Placement into Stock
    LQUA-CHARG = Batch Number
    OK I would like to add the Serial Number and when I review in lets say lQ01 I can't find the table name for the serial number - just the field name which is SERNR.
    Does anyone know of the table name and how I can link to table LQUA?
    Thanks,
    Linda

    Quant and the equipment master do not have direct relationship and if you are not using HUM, there is no connection between quant and the equipment master.
    If you are using the euqipment master...  There are number of tables that stores the serial number by the different type of assignments.  For example, if you are looking for serial number assigned to delivery, you can look in SER01.  If you search for table SER*, you will see all of them.  These tables have the key field of "OBKNR" which can be used to access the table OBJK to find the equipment number for the serial number.
    If not, SERI will give you serial number detail.
