Number of Cal Invitations always doubled in pop-up
Greetings.
Using an iPad2, with 4.3.1 installed. My work mailbox lives on an Exchange server, and is happily syncing via ActiveSync. No problems with the actual sync itself.
However, any time someone sends me calendar invites, I see double the number in the popup. If I get 1 invite (which is shown in the Calendar), the popup will always say I have 2 invitations.
Anyone else seeing this?
I'm seeing a similar issue. But The numbEr of invites grows more than that each time I get a single new one. The last time I had abot 380 invites, and this has been going on for about two weeks now.

Oracle NUMBER column retreived as System.Double instead of System.Decimal
We've been using the OleDb Managed Provider for some time now, and all oracle NUMBER datatypes have always come back from the db as System.Decimal.
we recently installed a new database, and now NUMBER comes back as System.Double. The table create scripts are the same for the new db. The client is not the issue as I can point the same web server at the old db and it works fine.
I've been unable to find any documentation on the subject.I have the same problem also. I'm using VC++6.0 and ADO 2.71 to perform queries with an Oracle Client 9.2.0.1. The same query on same table but on different Server version returns different results. With the production server, which is an 8.1.7.4 server, a NUMBER column returns a LONG value, while on the Test server, which is a 9.2.0.5.0 server, the same column returns a DOUBLE value. The problem is that using ADO I don't check data type/size when getting values, but I aspect a LONG value because a created the column with NUMBER specification. Could this be a different default from previous server version when creating the NUMBER column without any SCALE and PRECISION attributes?

If I click on an e-mail address link in a web page instead of a blank message opening I always get a pop up screen with a log-in for googlemail. I do not have and do not want a googlemail account. I just want to be able to send e-mails using Outlook.
OUtlook was already set as the mail client for FF, and is my operating system (XP)'s default mail programme. therefore problem not solved at all. what I get whenever I follow a link in a webpage to send an e-mail is a little pop up window asking me to sign in to gmail or open an account. any other suggestions?

how do I know how many CAL I have in my windows AD and how many I need to get?
my AD is windows 2008 R2.
I have abt 350 windows desktops/laptops.
We hava a new office to setup which may require 20-30 new desktops.
my boss is worried that we may run out of CALs and very worried that MS audit us for license compliant failure.
is there any software that I can use to check how many active CAL I am using?Hi yeowkm,
MS Licensing is easy to understand regarding Server Lic. and required CALs for your Clients. The Problem is: you have to read it through and there is no technical way to retrieve the number of CALs you've already bought. All you can do is track the usage
of Servers - but this seems a little bit oversized for your environment.
If you have a Volume License Agreement you may track your current MS Licenses in the VLSC:
https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter/
Please read the following:
Have a look at the CAL Licensing
http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/about-licensing/client-access-license.aspx
This technet blog answers many questions regarding CALs:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/volume-licensing/archive/2014/03/10/licensing-how-to-when-do-i-need-a-client-access-license-cal.aspx
Basically you need at least one Server-Lic. corresponding to the Edition and Operating System Environment. For each Client Computer you need one User- or Device-CAL (this depends on the usage of your Client-Computers). Attention: CALs are version specific
- if you bought CALs for Windows Server 2008, you cannot use those licenses to access a Windows Server 2012. If you have to purchase new CALs, they will be Windows Server 2012 CALs but you have downgrade rights to Windows Server 2008.
kind regards

I have this problem, my mouse always double clicks. I tried searching the forum for a solution. I got only one result http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=73460, but i am not able to solve it. So i started a new thread. I think my problem is there are two instances of mouse, thats why its double clicking always.

Thanks in advance@Lich: Ya I'm using only one. I dont think its a problem with the hardware.
@ lolilolicon: Your solution did'nt work. Actually this has to be put in "Server Flags" section. If I make it true, my keyboard and mouse doesn't work. So i tried making it False, still not working.
can somebody tell me if there are two instances of mouse running, how can I find that?
And thanks for the quick reply. -
Does the Number type in Oracle always map to the Java BigDecimal object
We have noticed that whenever we create a column in a table of type smallint, integer, real, etc. that the type in sqlplus always shows up as number(x). Our problem is that this type always seems to map to java.math.BigDecimal through JDBC. Is this a bug in the JDBC drivers???
Put another way when I create a column of type smallint I expect that after performing a query I should be able to call the getShort method on the result set in order to get the value from the afore mentioned column. But instead I get a ClassCastException because the Java type for the column is actually a java.math.BigDecimal.
Thanks,
Keith

Dragging and dropping Cal invitations.
Hi,
I used to be able to drag and drop Cals into an e-mail (and it'd appear as a clear .ics card attachment). Now if I drag and drop a Cal event into the body, it looks like:
Title of Event
Scheduled: Oct 22, 2014, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: X Address
The person receiving this e-mail would need to click on the time/downward arrow to add to the Cal. I'm afraid maybe some people who don't use Yosemite won't know the invitation is attached? Or am I getting this wrong?
Thanks!I don't know why but this code doesnt work for me too.
I am able to drag out only one mc and have a duplicate being
positioned at the same position. But i am not able to drag the
duplicate out from the same position.
Here's what i want actually:
1) when a movieclip starts to be dragged, create a duplicate
of it located at its start position
2) the duplicate can be dragged as well and when it is being
dragged, there will be another duplicate of it at its start
position.
3 ) 2 version of the dragged movieclip; (a) should be above
the other movieclips & (b) are not above of the other
movieclips
Is it possible to do it?

Setting number of decimal points using double
Is it possible to set the number of decimal points
e.g.
double a = 2 * Math.random() - 1;
If I print this it would show something like 0.2342345434332.
What I want to do is show 0.234.
Is this possible?here you go, you can run this small program to test the results for yourself...
import java.text.DecimalFormat;
public class floatTest{
public static void main( String args[]){
DecimalFormat threeDig = new DecimalFormat("0.000");
double a = 2 * Math.random() - 1;
//If I print this it would show something like 0.2342345434332.
System.out.println("double a >" + a);
System.out.println("formatted>0.000 >" + threeDig.format(a) );
}//end of float
}//end of floatTEstok? -
Join conference by phone just clicking in number shown in invitation
Hi, is it possible to join conference just by clicking the the phone number in invitation not dialling manually?
I have lync 2010. Is it possible on all phone devices: iphone, windows phone, android?
thanks for helpI don't have 2010 in front of me, but if the number isn't a hyperlink, my thought would be that you could make your own hyperlink to look something like this:
<a href=callto:+556666888888>Click to join via phone</a>
Also try tel:+555666 which might work a bit more nicely.
Which you might be able to append into the default meeting invite:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398638.aspx
I do have 2013 in front of me, and I can actually just click the number to join.
Edit: I just tested the tel: link which seemed to work with a set of 2010 clients and an iOS device.

Get Shopping Cart number from Bid invitation
Hi everybody,
I got a problem when I extract the data from SRM system.
I was trying to extract the Bit invitation data from SRM.
I'd like to get related shopping cart number for each bid inviation.
I didn't see it in our content.
Could you please tell me the solution for this?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Seven JinHi Seven,
You have to add the field 'Cart Number' and to your data source and replicate and get the data.

Make a number in column A always return a different specific number in column B
I'm trying to create a retirement calculator.
How do I set it up so that no matter where a specific number appears in column A, column B, same row, always returns a different specific number.
This second number cannot be derived from the first mathematically.
example:
Column A your current age is entered in the first cell.
Column B is the Life Expectency Factor (LEF). Before age 70 it is 0. At age 70 that number is 24.7, at 71 it is 26.4 etc.
Column C returns the Minimum Required Distribution (How much one has to withdraw) (B * $IRA = $MinDist)
Depending on the age in the first cell of column A, age 70 could be in any row.
How can I have the LEF in column B move with the age so that no matter in which row age 70 may appear in column A, that row in column B always returns 24.7 and age 71 always returns 26.4... and on.
No matter which row 70 is in, 24.7 is always next to it in the same row. This will go from 70 to 100 each with a specific LEF next to it.
ThanksHi Les,
Setup a Lookup table listing the LEF in column B beside each age in column A. Assuming one header row, start with 0 and 0 in A2 and B2, 70 and 24.7 in A3 and B3, etc.
On your Main table, enter the formula below in the first data cell of Main::column B (B2, again assuming a single header row for labels). Fill the formula down to the end of the table.
Main::B2: =LOOKUP(A,Lookup::$A,Lookup::$B)
Fill the formula to the end of column B
Numbers on the lookup table on the right are from the (US) government Social Security Administration Actuarial Life Table, and may not (do not, for the two examples in your post) agree with those you are using.

Barry
