Number of days kept the material by sub contractor

Dear Gurus,
My requirement is how to calculate the number of days for which the supplier has kept the material , till the last consumption, from the date of challan creation. idnt know how to calculate this, i searched a lot in google for finding this solution but no use,please help me.

Wouldn't this be a difference between the posting date of movement 541 and the movement 543 for the components (or 101 of final assembly)?

You can use FM RP_CALC_DATE_IN_INTERVAL.
data: wa_date like sy-datum.
*Add 21 days to current date.
call function 'RP_CALC_DATE_IN_INTERVAL'
         exporting
              date      = sy-datum
              days      = 21
              months    = 0
              signum    = '+'
              years     = 0
         importing
              calc_date = wa_date.
write: / wa_date.

Count the number of days in the selected range using Customer exit

Hi Experts,
we have requirment where user is asking to add a column to report, which will have 'count of days for which key figure is having values' for each of the months and the Header would be 'Day Count'
Please let me know if its possible using Customer exit?

In our report we have two characteristics site no. and product and we have 6 key figures of type quantity and Input for the report is Fiscal year/period
So in the report Key figures are populated with values for respective site no. and product combination
Now the user wants new column in report which will have header u2018Day countu2019 and it should Simply count the number of days in the selected range that have a volume different than 0 for key figure

How can I subract a number of days from the sysdate() ?

I need to display a date that is a certain number of days older than the current date.
I tried <?xdoxslt:sysdate('yyyy-MM-dd') - 7?> but I get an error.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I coded this:
test date : <?xdoxslt:ora_format_date_offset(xdoxslt:sysdate(),7, '-')?>
I got this:
test date : 110908 -- today's date, no offset.
What did I do wrong?
I got it to work using <?xdoxslt:sysdate() - 7?> (I removed the formatting from the sysdate), but the date format is 110901, not the most common for displaying purposes.
Any useful hints on how to format the resulting date?

Block a material with Sub-Contractor

Hey All,
I am just wondering, I have a business requirement to block a material that is with the sub-contractor as it is with the sub-contractor for rework.
I have tried to do a 541 Transfer posting and setting the stock as blocked stock but it shows up as unrestricted in MMBE.
Is there a process that would suit my requirement?

Check the configuration setting for the 541 movement type once.

Issue of material to sub contractor

In which t.code i should issue the material to subcontractor.
I have already raised the PO (for end material ) with BOM Assigened to it.

The Po is created with item category L , the goods is transferred to subcontractor by 541 movemet. for this movement note no accounting docs take place. When GR is done automatically, 543 movemnt takes place which take care of the consumption of components from stock
Issue material to vendor with movement type 541

My new Ipad is trying to download an already downloaded App from the store, it shows it as Installing... but has been showing this for a number o days. The originla App is working fine, ?? Cant stop the installing App in any which way?

My Ipad 4 has downloaded several children's game Apps, no problems, however following this the device is again trying to download the same App being a repeat of the already downloaded App. The original is working fine but for several days the Ipad is displaying the repeated App as "Installing". How do I stop this as there is no ability to remove the 2nd App?

You can also set the lifetime of a single password dependent on it's "idle" status:
- Initial password at user creation. (e.g. 5 days)
- Reset password by admin. (e.g. 1 day)
- Productive password not used (e.g 91 days)
.. and the minimum validity of the password, regardless of how often it is used (not idle).
- Productive password expiration time. (e.g. 90 days)
You can also manually observe what is going on via report/transaction RSUSR200.
If you take a look at the documentation on the parameters in the link already provided, you will see the logic and the dependencies between them. The selection fields of RSUSR200 reflect the same.
How you rate the risk of passwords and these settings, also depends on many other things - most notably how disciplinced admins are at using the password wizard (in my opinion).

Sub contractor using his own material

I wanted to map a scenario in which I send the material to sub contractor , in which apart from processing the sub contractor uses his own material which is modvatable .
And also in service po , when I send the machine for servicing, the service provider also uses his own material which again is cenvatable .
In both the scenarios how do we map it SAP .

Field in Material Master to specify the number of Days to keep the stock

Dear Gurus,
I want to define in Material Master, that i want to keep the Stock of the Material of 4 days as Safety stock, My consumption of Material can vary from month to month low or high. But i want to keep the number of Days fixed in Material Master for the Safety Stock. So that if my consumption varies, my Stock Quantity for Safety automatically updated.
