I'm sorry, I do not fully understand your question. However if you are looking for the email address which you have used for your iTunes account, you can find this out by using the "get info" command on any items you have previously purchased from iTunes and navigating to the summary tab.

  • IMac's Pin # for RAM

I just bought the new 20" iMac 2.4ghz and I'm thinking of adding some more RAM.
The users manual states that it takes So-DIMM PC2-5300 SDRAM DDR2 667mhz (phew, what a mouthful).
How many pins does it accept? 180? 200? 240?

ernande, Welcome to the discussion area!
Sorry but you do not have an iMac G5. You have an Intel-based iMac. They are 2 totally different things.
For future questions you should post in the Intel-based iMac discussion area.

  • Looking for App to dial phone number and pin to check voice mail?

When I am checking my office voice mail remotely with my 3G iphone, I can go to favorites or contacts and dial my office phone number. But then I have to manually dial my office number plus #, then wait 4 seconds and dial my pin plus #. Also, I have to touch "Speaker" or the office voice mail will not hearing the touch tones.
Is there an app that will dial the office number plus #, wait 4 seconds, then dial the pin plus # by pressing just one button? My treo had a dial feature that would dial my office voice mail number, pause 1 second per entered comma, plus pin by pushing only one button. Also, how do I make the office voice mail hear the touch tones without using speaker?

Well you can enter pauses as well with the iPhone in your contact list saved number. As for the voice mail service not getting your key entries unless on speaker, not sure.

  • I'd like to know how to get the SIM Network Unlock PIN for my DROID2 GLOBAL

I am living in Haiti and I made someone buy a Droid2 Global for me in USA. I have had the phone for 2 months but I never could operate it.  Any time I open it, it requires that I enter a SIM Network Unlock PIN that I have not.
I' d appreciate you help me get the SIM Network Unlock PIN for my Droid2 Global which IMEI is the following: {edited for privacy}.
    Many thanks in advance

If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, a PIN Unlock Key must be obtained from Verizon Wireless at 908-559-4899 if you are outside of the United States and 800-922-0204 or *611(send) from your mobile number inside the United States..
The SIM PIN option is only available when the handset is in GSM / UMTS mode. Refer to Network Mode Setting for further assistance.
    Thank you, LatachaM_VZW
Are you talking about the PUK code (when the PIN for the SIM has been wrong too many times)?  The OP is talking about network unlock, and is using a foreign SIM.   Global Services certainly wouldn't have the unlock code for a SIM that isn't theirs.
I have heard that if you do enter the incorrect network unlock code too many times, the phone becomes permanently locked (i..e cannot be unlocked even with a valid unlock code) but not everyone agrees that this is true for all phones.
Jax's post above really says it all, you will need to search the web for a service that will unlock this Motorola phone.  In doing so, you might find a number of threads that say the Global has to be activated in the US before an unlock code will work.  Others were able to unlock without this.

  • Fire wire - # and number of pins?

I want to add an external drive to my mac mini (non intel), and I plan to do this with a fire wire connection. I have found that fire wire cables are defined by the number of pins (4 or 6) an number IEEE-1396 or 1394. I believe I need to buy a cable, IEEE-1394 with 6 pins on each end. Can anyone confirm this belief before I buy the cable.
    Thank you for your comments.

    Hi,
I admit I have never heard of IEEE 1396 before you posted it here.
However a quick googling came up with quite some hits.
To my knowledge (and from the Google hits) it seems that IEEE 1396 is used to determine a 6-pin to 6-pin cable connection, whereas IEEE 1394 is used for a 6-pin to 4-pin cable connection.
4-pin ports are usually only used with external devices, that don't need/want to draw power from the Firewire cable (like Digital cameras and the like) or computers (like Notebooks) that don't provide power over the Firewire cable.
Nonetheless the only 'official' name for Firewire of any kind is IEEE 1394 with the addition of small letters like 'a' 'b' or 'c' to distinguish the differences in speed (Firewire 400; Firewire 800).
So look at the Firewire ports you want to connect with the cable to determine which cable you need.
Take care and thanks for the star.

  • OVM3.2.2 Unexpected CPU Pinning for Win2008EntR2

    Hi all,
I installed OVM 3.2.2 on HP Gen 8 server with 16 cores for testing. Then :
    1. Windows 2008 r2 Enterprise edition is installed.
    2. No CPU pinning was set
    3. When I tried to check the CPU allocation with the "xm vcpu-list" command, the information show that the Windows guest was pinned to core 16-31 while dom0 pinned to core 0-19
    4. The vm.cfg file was checked. No pinning setting found
    5. The information about the OVS and the guest is attached.
The setup was originally for testing/learning CPU pinning of the Windows guest to 4 cpu cores (8 vCPU) and come across the above scenario.
Is it normal that the Windows guest pinned to core 16-31 unexpectedly? and why?
Can I rectify it by adding the clause "cpus=0-31" to the vm.cfg ?
Any official recommandation for the dom0 CPU allocation? more appropriate the delicate certain number of core for the exclusive use of dom0?
    Thanks!

  • Bank Account number in IT0009 for Switzerland more than 18 digits

    Dear Experts,
I encountered a problem when trying to create a bank account number in IT0009 for Switzerland. Because this Swtizerland bank account number is 21 digits which exceeded the current bank account number field length which is 18 digits only.
             Thanks.
    Regards,

    Dear Ram Manohar,
Thanks a lot for your reply. Before this I thought of putting the additional 3 digits in 'reference detail' field too. But the field 'reference detail' is not being showed at all when I change the bank key to 'CH' Switzerland.
Please advice if there's any other way to store the additional 3 digits of bank account number?
              Thanks.

  • Windows 8 - Number of Pinned Items

    Hi,
In Windows 7, there was an increased number of items (10 I think) in the "pinned jump list",
yet on Windows 8 it is only allowing 3 items to be pinned to the jump list on each program.
Is there anyway to increase the number of pinned items in Windows 8 for each program that's pinned to the taskbar as I like to have more items on the pinned list - just not the "frequently used" as this can change from time to time and I want the
pinned items that I use all the time.
Any guidance would be great. Thanks.
    Regards,
    Jamie

Glad to hear you sort it out.
