Number of posts changed

Round about the time the new system was introduced, my number of posts seemed to have been reset. Other members who were also active before the new system was introduced seem to be unaffected.
Why would this be?

  • Error 'Specify account number' while posting a parked document through FBV0

    Hi,
I am getting an error 'Specify account number' while posting a parked document through transaction FBV0.
I am not able to figure it out as to what account number it is referring to. Since the document is parked I assume the GL account used has no problem. Please help.

    Hi,
Try to change the Account number and then save or post the data. I think Once We Parking the Document it wont allow to post the data without changing.
Try same scenario in the development its be useful

  • Issue with posting change note processing using movement type 309

while processing Posting change note using transaction LT05, i am getting error 'Available quantity is less than selected quantity'. we need the quantity in posting change note to be picked from same storage bin from where it has been picked during transfer posting using 309. currently, it is showing all storage bins in ascending order for selection while Posting change note posting.
if we reqwhile mass porcessing of Posting change note using LSMW, it pickes the 1st storage bin. if 1st storage bin quantity is less than selected quantity of PCN then it is showing above error.

    Hi Vishal,
The materials are managed by batch? Please check the batches of the material in the different storage bins. SAP asign the storage bin taking into account the material batch number and the oldest quant.
When the storage bin is not indicated, SAP looks at the batch number, and goes to the storage bin where this batch for the material is allocated. If SAP find more than one storage bin, SAP consumes from the batch that has the oldest quant.
I really dont understand deeply your question.
    Hope it helps.

  • No quants exist for posting changes. Creating TOu00B4s in LU04.

When creating transfer orders in LU04, we get an error message "No quants exist for posting changes'. We are using batch managed and serialized materials. Using QM interface, so, inspection lots are created at Goods Receipt. When QM team "accepts" batch materials during inspection lot, there is no problem, but when "accepts" serialized materials, the system creates posting changes notices but can not create transfer orders sending the message before described. This is because after receiving the serialized materials, we receive one piece at a time in order to create one inspection lot for every serial number. But when we put away the materials, we put them away in the same bin. so, system assigns one quant and one inspection lot to the bin, updating the last one every time we put away one serial number. When system tries to look for the inspection lot number selected in QA32, is not finding it in the bin at WM level because the bin only contains the last inspection lot that was put it away.
With batch managed numbers there is no problem since SAP divides the bin in different quants with the correspondent batches assigning an inspection lot to each quant.
Is there any alternative to solve the issue with the serialized materials? We are using SAP ECC 6.0.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
The reason why we put away serialized materials into the same bin is because materials are physically small and they fit more than one in each bin. The warehouse is structured in this way and we plan to use it like that because it wouldn´t be feasible to create one bin for each serialized material. Is there any other way to manage this situation?
    Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to configure maximum number of Posts in News Feed webpart under following and EveryOne.
Also would like to know more about Newsfeed webpart internal functioning. Any link woud be really helpful.
Ashish Baranwal To know what you know and what you do not know, that is true knowledge

    Hi Ashish,
The Newsfeed contains recent activities from followed entities. The
Newsfeed displays 20 items and is sorted in reverse chronological order. Items listed in the
Newsfeed are activities from entities a user follows, and conversations from any site feeds the user follows.
The Everyone feed shows the last 20 posts or replies across all users. The distinction between the
    Everyone feed and the
    Newsfeed is that the
Newsfeed only shows activities from entities the user is following.

There is not an OOB way to change the max number of posts in Newsfeed. You may try to use Code to achieve it. Here is a similar post for your reference:

  • Clearing posting change notices

    Hi All,
I'm trying to close out posting change notices manually by marking the status as U through LU02. Not able to create TO and clear this as the stock is no longer available and these are very old ones.
The problem is that the source and destination data are the same and its throwing an error.
Can you suggest any ways to clear these open posting changes
    Regards,
    Ashwin

Sap provided corrrection program to clear the posting change notices.Develop this program in your system then check. We are using 4.6c version.
To set the posting change in question to processed (U), please
implement the following correction program in your system.
    1) Create program 'ZLTEST00' with type '1' and application 'L' with the
    following code:
    report zltest00.
    tables: lubu.
parameters: w-no like lubu-lgnum, "warehouse number
post-no like lubu-ubnum, "posting change notice
    status like lubu-statu, "status
    update. "update
select single * from lubu where lgnum = w-no
    and ubnum = post-no.
    write: / lubu-lgnum,
    lubu-ubnum,
    'Status old >', lubu-statu,
    'Status new >', status.
    if update ne space.
update lubu set statu = status
    where lgnum = w-no
    and ubnum = post-no.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
write: / 'Update posting change notice'.
    else.
write: / 'No update posting change notice'.
    endif.
    else.
write: / 'No update posting change notice'.
    endif.
    To run above correction program:
    1) You have to indicate warehouse number, posting change number and the
status which you want to set in the posting change.
    2) Without including the UPDATE-parameter, the program only shows the
    posting change, or
    3) When you mark the parameter UPDATE then the posting change will be
    changed.

  • New number of posts bug(?) + question; no #100, and total # of posts vary

New number of posts bug(?) + question; no number 100, and total number of posts vary
Intrigued by Tuttle's new attempt to join Niel's old habit to keep his own total number of posts count, I went and start counting my posts since the New Discussions. Because I saved my latest Old Discussions Post-and-Points info, I can see what are the previously-still-online ones (the pre- 14-Nov-2005 01:31 GMT ones), and I know exactly what was my "real" total number of posts before 14-Nov-2005 (2446).
My New Discussions posts number however, is quite uncertain.
Firstly, when I use the "My Posts" link on the right, then clicking on and on on the "Next" link,
    my "Viewing 91-100 of 586 -- Pages" shows 91-99 instead of 91-100
(= should show 10 posts, shows 9 posts)
then I go on clicking Next Next Next, and I see the same missing counts happen elsewhere:
    my posts number 100, 259, 260, 370, 390, 520, 558, 559, 560, 578, 579, and 580 are missing too.
Note that I wouldn't bother doing all this, and I would have thought it's just very old posts that are automatically deleted like in the Old Discussions,
    BUT,
the problem is that when I choose to see all my posts together on the same page
(by using the start=0&range=600 suffix in the URL)
I get a total number of posts that is different (570).
A third way to quickly see all posts without having to load too big page
(using the start=0&range=300 suffix in the URL then only one "Next" click)
shows yet another, different again, number of total posts (573).
And my "official" total number of posts is (586).
    Dear HOSTS,
    - If this can be used as a bug report to fix a counting problem, glad to help.
    - If there is no bug, I have two(+) questions then:
    1) Was my post number 100 deleted?
(should be around 27-Nov-2005 18:00 GMT)
    Also:
I thought the Total Posts number that we see in "My Public Profile" or under the avatar in each post (586), was only the number of posts still online.
    - if it is the case, then there are no automatically deleted old posts anymore?
    - if old posts are automatically deleted like before, this number should vary?
    - if it doesn't vary (it just grows by one per new post), AND at the same time old posts are actually automatically deleted,
it has to show the "real" total number of posts then,
(as it is now, a total starting from the Old-Discussions-still-online-posts, it makes no sense),
    that is,
the total posts in the New Discussions PLUS the total posts since first registration in the Old Discussions.
    So,
    2) What does it show exactly?
Thanks again for all the great work!
    Axl
    220? 221?

    Thank you Andreas,
Your confirmation about the "post #100 bug" does help.
"As for your other missing posts - I guess Tuttle's assessment that they might be deleted is probably right..."
Yes, that makes sense and that's what I'm trying to figure in my OP, but then,
after I posted my "#221/2667 post" (11-Dec-2005 21:51 GMT), my originally missing #
    259, 260, 370, 390, 520, 558, 559, 560, 578, 579, and 580
    should have become
    260, 261, 371, 391, 521, 559, 560, 561, 579, 580, and 581
right? (forget the #100: this one we know for sure it's a bug)
Or if the software counts them from the first (now that would have been a good start) instead of starting from the most recent,
    they should become
    258, 259, 369, 389, 519, 557, 558, 559, 577, 578, and 579
Well, that's not what happened. Now the missing # are
    259, 260, 370, 390, 400, 520, 559, 560, 570, 579, and 580
(in addition to the same #100) (#558 and 578 not missing anymore).
As you can see, there is no logic:
It doesn't work as a simple numerotation of StillOnlinePosts, no matter the order
(otherwise there would simply be a straight count from 1 to 575 (=587-12).
It looks indeed like it shows which old posts are being automatically deleted. That the numbers are quite the same would simply show that the old posts dates were so close, of course they are deleted (six months later) almost at the same time,
    BUT,
if it was the case, there would never be LESS deleted posts between two StillOnlinePosts, like it happens for example between my StillOnlinePosts #557 and #561.
Please note: of course I stick to the same method to make all my counts. Not manually modifying the URL, just using the default Next-Next-Next- clicking...
Modifying URL would add yet more differences in the differences!..
    Dear Hosts,
Too bad it doesn't help looking yourself at my "My Posts", as everything changes each time I'm adding a reply somewhere.
Perhaps a good way to troubleshoot this would be to start from a very simple basis:
--> "name" the posts with a number, starting from the oldest.
This way, for example my "#1" post (11-Dec-2005 21:51 GMT in this thread) would be named "221" in the New Discussions, or "2667" if you start from my Registration date.
At the moment, it is very difficult to figure what fault comes from the "#100 post bug" and what fault comes from another possible counting bug...
Then the New Discussions "fluctuating" refreshing delay too, possibly messes the counts...
    Thanks!
    Axl

  • How to determine Quant when posting change?

    Dear Expert,
I am trying to Post Change using FM L_TO_CREATE_POSTING_CHANGE (LT05), but I have no idea about the table parameter: T_LUBQU,  the most confused thing is the field LQNUM, I know that it is Quant, but can any1 tell me how I can get the properly quant to run this FM?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hello,
    Quant
    Definition
This is the stock of any material with the same features in one storage bin. The system
manages different batches of a material as different quants. The quantity of a quant can be
increased by an addition to existing stock. Quants can be created or deleted solely through
    goods movements.
    Use
The quants serve to manage stocks at storage bin level.
When you store goods in an empty storage bin in WM, the system automatically creates a quant
in this bin. The system automatically assigns a quant number. The quant is automatically deleted
by the system when the material quantity is picked.
In the quant record, the system manages the data of the materials grouped in the quant. This
    data includes.
      Quant identification
      Plant
      Material number
      Batch number
      Stock category
      Special stock indicator and number

I was debugging transaction LQ02  and there is called BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. But before calling this BAPI it should by (imported/exported) parameter of Storage unit number to some function or BAPI, but I dont know which one it should be.

  • New Discussions forum has down graded my number of posts...

Why oh why do Apple have to fix something that is not broken - I loved the old discussions forum, I am not change adverse however what is the point of changing something which works?? Also, my number of posts have gone down to 15! I am not an Apple newbie and had a lot to say... give me back my original number of posts please!!
I am sure other members feel the same... is there anyone else out there who has noticed that their posts number has gone down? It may sound silly but I think it reflects on the nature of your query and also how your advice is taken up by other users. I definately rely on the number under the name of the poster as an indication of wheather what they are saying is correct!

Weird ... I understand about Reps & levels being (tempoorarily/temporally) 'ou to lunch' but I am puzzled about posts ...
Many others' counts look OK to me (people I'm familiar with, or would consider 'Peers in Posts', obviously .
I appear to have lost many hundreds - who remembers exactly ? It's not the sort of thing I memorize - But it was more 400 than 40... or 800 than 80.
(I have ca. 600 in my mailbox just from my posts - and just from threads I had email Subs to ... so a 2 digit number is fairly unlikely grin)
Perhaps it'll all sort itself out
(I never did much like the way Posts arbitrarily went Offline, anyway - permanently unavailable to searches - so I'd subscribe via email to have my own copy. This made it easier to explain/answer the same complicated question/problem the next 20 times it got asked after the original dropped off the twig. It's not as if the questions & answers don't remain relevant - in many cases, for years afterwards...)

  • Bin determination in automatic TO creation for posting changes

    Hello guys,
could someone provide some information or some links on how the automatic bin determination for posting changes will be processed in SAP WM?
Actually I'm looking for some further information for automated processing during a posting with movement type 309.
What data from the posting change will be taken into account for the automated bin determination?
Or is it 100 % comparable to the standard putaway / stock removal strategies?
Thanks for some hints on that.

    Hi,
I would like to add a point here that there is possibility of transmitting a screen widow to hav the value of GR number. You can do the settings  in OMLR in the AddlData for the appropriate Mvt (eg 321)
This will cause to have the GR number to the PCN, which is compared with the GR no in the quant existing, while creating the TO wrt PCN.
For eg: Material           Qty              Stk catgry                Bin                      GRno
                     A                  20                    Q                      B001                  5000000102
                     A                  40                    Q                      B003                  5000000140
Now, when transfering the stock category form Quality to unrestricted, for 20 qty, a PCN will be created bforethat a pop-up screen flows in which u'll b giving the GR no as 5000000140.
So u have the PCN for Qty 20, with GR no 5000000140.
When u create a TO wrt PCN, system will pick the stock from the bin B003.
I don't know how far this may light u.
