Number pad just moves the cursor around the screen

My numberpad on my Kensington Ci 70 wireless keyboard only scrools the cursor around the screen, it just started this lately. I replaced the keyboard and the numberpad still, just moves the cursor around.
I pressed the scroll lock key then ctrl+scroll lock key and many other keys and combinations,

hello hamguy, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by adware/malware on your pc. please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

Hi, While writing an email online using Firefox 3.6.3, I was using one of the "CTRL+left or right arrow" to move the cursor along the text. I must have pressed some other key because the display has become huge - and I can't scroll vertically or horizontally, which makes using the Mail pages of Hotmail impossible. I have since logged in using MSFT Explorer and it works fine. This problem occurs only on the Mail page of Hotmail Live not on the home page or others.
Could you please let me know if this is a problem with Firefox, or if you have any advice on how to reset the appearance of Hotmail in Firefox?

Pinwheel when I try to move the cursor in the timeline or playback video

every time i try to move the cursor in the time line, or even playback my footage fcp immediately starts pinwheeling! i can't get anything done. i'm working off an external hard drive (g-drive) that still has around 200gb of space left, i've switched computers and the problem persists -- which leads me to believe it's the external drive causing the problem. any advice? i'm using fcp 7.0.2 -- help!

If you work in Final Cut Pro, yes.
h.264 is a highly temporally and spatially compressed format designed for DELIVERY. It is extraordinarily resource intensive and causes all sorts of unpredictable project failures when edited directly. FCP does not support it directly. To take advantage of FCP's power, it must be converted to a natively supported format - ProRes for example.
That the sleazy cam producers have glommed onto it as a way of recording their output on really minimal media is more a statement of their desire to make things cheap than their desire to make things easy for you, the editor. When you consider that the great mass of crap recorded on these cams will (thankfully) never see the light of day, their position makes sense.

Actually I would like to create 2 button, one is named as NEXT, another one is named as PREVIOUS. Once i click on the NEXT or PREVIOUS button, a query statement will be executed to retrieve the information of all of the student in a table. At the same time, the name, student code, address, ic and phone number of a student will be displayed by label respectively. After that, if I click on the NEXT button, the information of the current student will be replaced by the information of the next student. By the way, if I click on the PREVIOUS button, the information of the current student will be replaced by the information of the previous student.

There are 2 Fullscreen modes for some games. And some games only use 1 of them. The usual Fullscreen that you'd expect, and the one we call "Borderless Window".
The classic Fullscreen utilizes all your display and things like menu bar, OSD's, "Always On Top" windows won't pop up while you are playing. But the Borderless Window is just a window that has the same resolution and dimensions with your desktop, and has no borders. Other elements like menu bars, OSD's and "Always stay on top" windows can get into your way while playing. And it's also slower than the classic fullscreen.
Check if your game offers any option of selecting between these 2 Fullscreen Modes, and select the classic fullscreen mode.

Well I figured it out, right click the arrow that makes the screen bigger and unclick the Hide Toolbar. I knew it couldn't be that hard.

When I right click on a link to open in new tab and move my cursor into the dialog box the box dissapears this is new in the last 24 hours.

I'm using Firefox 8.0 on Suse 11.4 today is 11/28/11 the past 24 hours I've been experiencing this: I always try to right click on links and open in new tab, lately when I do so and move the cursor into the dialog box the box disappears. Also if I online shop say for clothing, if I want to change size's when I click the button to do so nothing happens when I want to scroll down and pick a different size, (I can hi-light the size and click on it then when the window scrolls back up the default size is still there. I have imported my I photo library into Aperture. all the old i photo events are now in the aperture library showing number of photos but when clicked none display. I can see the photos if i run the cursor over the project. Help please.

I can see the i photo events in aperture library as events with the number of photos in each event.
When you click events in the aperture library no photos appear although if you roll the cursor over the event icon it show the photos. If you click on the event either on the event icon or in the library no photos appear.

Check, if you have any filters set. The search fields in the Insector panel and the browser should be showing "All items" or "Showing All".
The Browser search field could be set for each project and album individually, so you have to check it for each project.

The Outlook object model doesn't provide anything for that. You need to use Windows API functions or use
Accessibility API to set the cursor programmatically.

I don't think there is an option for logging off in the Hot Corners, but check Mission Control System Prefs, Hot Corners button. What is set in the top, left.

I can see the block (flashes) and the buttons are no longer usable.
I have Empted Cache but doesn't seem to help.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.
