Number range object HRTR_PDOC : Interval not found

Hi,
I am doing Travel Mgt testing i got two problems
1. Travel Policy is not taking when entering the expences
2. when posting the doc to FI the error "Number range object HRTR_PDOC : Interval not found" is coming

Problem of number range object

hi experts,
the user use PA40 to record events and create an employee, the user wants the system to warn if the total number of employee beyond limits.
so i found an exit 'PBAS0001' and implements it, if the total number beyonds limits, and popup to warn user and exit. But the number of employee is got from the number range object. when the program runs to the PBAS0001, the number range object has already add one, and next time when employee created, the employee number wouldn't be continuous.
if the employee number must be continuous, so how to solve this problem? or is there other exit fm runs before the number range object adds? i found an exit named HRBAS00_STRUAUTH runs befor the range object but the necessary parameter is not all ready.

when you start the transaction the numer is for examle 2000 you save the employee. And now you start your transaction again which number is shown now ?

Number range object for CS order

Hi,
I have created CS order type and am trying to assign to the corresponding notification type, the system throws error as " number range object AUFTRAG does not exist. But i checked in SNRO the same object is available. What and where i need to do in the spro for making this assignment.

Check with following Tcode and check under respective groups, by clicking on Group button.
IW20 - Number range for Message
OION - Order Number Range
If you still not found the correct number range, then you are requested to look in to Plant Maintenance and Customer Service in SPRO.

Number range interval not found for object ISH_NLEI in executing NP38

Dear ALL,
In executing Transaction NP38 when we save the surgical procedure codes the system
generates an error message "number range interval not found " . The object referred here
ISH_NLEI number range has already been defined in spro Define technical number range.
Please assist what should be done here to resolve the problem.

I am facing a problem while doing an excise invoice. System is throwing an error saying that " Error in allocating Despatch number Interval not found Number object J_1IINTPR2.
Can somebody help me with a solution ?

Dear Indrajit
Go to SNUM, input object J_1IINTPR2 and click on Number Ranges. Enter [Excise Group] and click on Intervals (with pencil icon). Maintain the number range and save. Now try the process once again.

Hi All,
While saving the Excise Invoice(created w.r.to Invoice) in J1IIN system is throwing the error:
"Error in allocating Despatch serial number Interval not found Number object J_1IINTPR2
Message no. 8I336"
The Excise Group(say 99) was created.
But the same is not reflecting in the drop down list of SNUM for maintaining the No.Range in the Object J_1IINTPR2.
Do the needful to resolve this issue.
Needless to say helpful answers will be rewarded.

Go to Excise group details here you check these settings
IMG>Logistics general>Tax on Goods movements>India>Basic settings-->Maintain Excise groups
Have you check all these check boxes
1.Excise Inv during billing
2.Create and Post Invsingle step
3,Depot Excise invoice
4.EI capture
5.Diuty Different at GR
6.EI create/RG23D selection
7.Update RG1 at MIGO

As a know that this is a problem of number range and I mentioned the same(SNUM> given the object and maintain the number range of this fiscal year but it didnt work also searched in the forum but didnt got any other solution so posted the issue.

Go to transaction SNRO enter J_1IINTNUM -> click on Number ranges pushbutton option in the applicaiton toolbar -> Click on Change Interval pushbutton -> Maintain Number Range Interval and save.

Hi all,
I am facing one error when creating excise invoice.
system shows the following error.
Error in allocating Despatch serial number Interval not found Number object J_1IINTPR2
For this, i tried to maintain number range in j1i9 object J_1IINTPR2.
Here system is not showing excise group number.
But for one company code it shows and another company code excise group code is not displayed.
Can anyone tell me what will be the problem?

excise group 10 belongs to first plant
excise group 20 belongs to second plant.
settings are maintained same for the two excise group.
excise group 10 is displayed in J1I9 (Number object J_1IINTPR2).
But excise group 20 is not displayed over there. I want to maintain number range for excise group 20.

Now, I'm getting some issues in Training and event management module.
- The first, I created business event
- Second, I process to book for business event by tcode: PSV1 --> book --> book/payment info --> activity allocation.
But when I was booking, the system displayed error: "Interval 01 was not created for number range object HRTEM_REFN"

Training and event mgt>Basic settings>Number range maintanence>Define number ranges for External operation
and maintain number ranges as 01 Internal

All number ranges are maintained for the above object. Please let me know, whether anyone encountered the same situation and how to resolve the same.

Please check in SNRO as you allocated no range for J_1IEXCLOC object for your series group & check for J_1IARE3 object also for same series group.

Error when creating interval for number range object

I am trying to transport my BW stuff from QA to Production and I am getting the following error in the transport logs. The info objects are inactive in RSA1.
Start of the after-import method RS_IOBJ_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) IOBJ (Activation Mode)
Characteristic YRESD: Error when creating interval for number range object BIM0000396
Can some body advise me what's wrong? Is something need to be maintained in number ranges?
Also when I am checking the objects in RSA1, I am getting a message saying "source system WD110 does not exist", WD110 is our dev system. How can I change the source system after transport?

No SID Number Range Object Found

Hi, Just curious.. I created an infoobject and I found that there is no number range object BIM*** for the sid. When I do an RSRV I get the below listed message:
Any ideas what this means?
Characteristic ZSOUTLET2 does not get its SIDs by using a number range object
Message no. RSRV276
Diagnosis
Characteristic ZSOUTLET2 has another SID award mechanism by using a number range object. Therefore, this test is not meaningful for ZSOUTLET2.

If the InfoObject is of type DATS, TIMS or NUMC (with length < 9) no need for number range object, because the characteristic values are equal to the SIDs --> SIDs are retrieved by using the characteristic values.

This is not connected with Posting periods but with document number ranges.
Create document Number range interval 50 for year 2007 using T.code FBN1.
This should solve ur problem

Number range object interval - Production Orders

Dear All,
In number range object AUFTRAG, no. of numbers in buffer mentioned as 20,
To my knowledge, because there is buffer defined as 20, system may skip some numbers in production order number range amounting to 20.
But today I have observed that, in the system numbers skipped is not 20 but less than 20, i.e 17.
Can anyone tell me why is this happened?
