Numbering to org model

hi all,
i am working in a scenario, where i have two organization structure and i want to assign a number range (BP number) to both the stru. is it possible to assign seperate number range to each org stru.? if yes how?
regards,
Shaik

There is a crude way by which you can achieve this.
1.Use tcode snro
2.Enter object BU_PARTNER and then "interval"
3. Check the current no. for the no. range e.g. Z1, Z2, etc. which you are using (this is th BP no. of the last org unit generated).
4. Before you want to generate a different BP no. for your org unit, change this current no. to 1 less than the no. you want to generate.
For e.g. if you want to generate no. 500, set this no. to 499.
But before that you should be careful and ensure that this no. has not been used before, or else it will lead to errors.
5. Now, you create your org unit. This will have the BP no. which you want.

  • Tables for ORG model

    Hi friends
Could any one please tell me the table names which stores the ORG model and position and Job.
    Earlier reply would be appreciated
    Thanks in advance
    Rao

In three steps you can retrieve the BP number(s) related to an Org. Model position.
    <b>[1]</b>
    Positions are registered in HRP1000:
    OTYPE = 'S' (Position)
    STEXT : description
    <b>[2]</b>
Relations between position and persons are registered in HRP1001:
    OTYPE = 'S' (Position)
    OBJID = HRP1000-OBJID
    SOBID : link to person-ID
    <b>[3]</b>
Relations between persons and BP numbers are gistered in HRP1000:
    OTYPE = 'CP' (Person)
    OBJID = HRP1001-SOBID
    SHORT : BP number
STEXT : First and Last name of Person

  • Assigning user in org model

    hi,
Iam not able to assign user  under the position in my org model.Am i missing on somethning? Can any one plz help me
    thanks
    ajay

    Hi Ajay,
Right click on the Position and select  'Assign' -Select UserIf you are unable to see the users Then try following work around,
Check  the  Organizational Management set up
Path:SPROMaster DataBusiness Partner --Set Up Integration with Organizational Management.
    1. Activate global HR integration by setting the main switch HRALX/HRAC to 'X'.
    2. Activate the integration between business partners and organizational units by setting the switch HRALX/OBPON to 'ON'.
    3. Activate the integration between business partners and employees by setting the switch HRALX/PBPON to 'ON'.
    4. Numbers can generally be assigned in three ways when creating business partners:
    a) Number is taken as before from the general internal interval for number range object BU_PARTNER.
    b) Number is taken from the special internal interval for the object.
    c) Number is taken from HR and given a prefix. A special external interval is used, which has to be defined as XX00000000 to XX99999999, where XX stands for any two letters.
Number assignment is set for organizational units using HRALX/ONUMB, and for employees using HRALX/PNUMB.
The number range object for all switch values is BU_PARTNER, the interval being dependent on the switch value. The internal standard interval is used for switch value 1, for switch values 2 and 3 the interval is defined by the switch HRALX/OSUBG or HRALX/PSUBG. For switch values 2 and 3, a grouping also needs be created for these intervals using transaction BUC2.
To enable the system to connect the grouping and the number range interval, the name of the grouping must be exactly the same as that of the corresponding number range interval. The name of the grouping is in the first column of the table.
If you choose number assignment type 3 for business partners with the role employee (switch HRALX/PNUMB = 3), create the switch HRALX/PSUBG manually in table T77S0.
    5. If you would like users to be informed by e-mail when errors occur, the recipient can be defined in switch HRALX/MSGRE (0=No messages, 1=Workflow administrator is notified, 2=User receives mail, 3=Both are informed).
    6. If addresses are required to generate business partners correctly, the switch HRALX/OADRE must be set to 'X'. The standard address to be assigned to every organizational unit without its own address can be defined using HRALX/OADBP.
To create a standard address, create a business partner with an address and then enter this business partner's number in the switch.
    7. If qualifications for employees are also to be transferred, the switch HRALX/PQUAL must be set to 'X'.
    Effects on Existing Data
If you have already transferred employees from a connected HR System in an earlier CRM Release and have now upgraded, the relevant employees (personnel numbers) must be transferred again to the CRM System by initial distribution. This enables important employee information to be stored in the target system, and changes to be transferred correctly to the business partner master records.

  • BP number is missing for org units in org model

    Hi Guys,
I have created org model in PPOCA_CRM and saved it CRM7.0. But BP numbers did not get generated for org units which I have created.
Can any one suggest me what is the reason and what needs to be done in order to get BP numbers for already created org units in PPOCA_ CRM or PPOMA_CRM.
    Thanks for you help,
    JM

Go to CRM IMG->Cross Application components->SAP Business partner->Business Partner->Number Ranges and Groupings->Define Groupings and Assign number ranges.
There check if any number range is defined with the "Int Std grouping" . If it is not define it.
and in SM30 for "T77S0" for entries HRALX/OSUBG assign a number range.

  • Adding new data elements to Org Modeler.

We are trying to add 4 fields to the org Modeler. However it is nowhere to be found like in the orgchart.
    Org Modeler 3.0 SP2
PA0001, PA0008, HRP1005 and HRP1008. (also linking to the texts in T001P, so we will require a table inner join)

    Hi Wade,
In order to get the fields in OrgModeler scenarios you need to make sure that your hierarchy data element in the Source OrgChart contains all fields that you want. For this I recommend creating a NakisaRFC function for the additional data, creating a data element for it and then creating a linked data element to link together the new data element and the existing hierarchy data element. There is no data center in OrgModeler so you will need to do this manually.

  • Missing Business Attributes in Org Model

    Hi,
I am working on CRM 5.0 system...In the process of creating Master data... I have created an Org model under that created some Org units.....
In any Org unit of any Org model > under the business attributes tab..... I am not able to see the entries for Division, Distribution Channel, Tupel and some other...
And also I could not see any values for division and distribution channel under BP>Sold to Party Role>Sales Area Data.....
Could anyone tell me what would be the reason.....
Thank you very much for your help in advance....

    Dear Sr,
I hope I got your question right.
I guess the attribute entries (Division, distribution channel, tupel etc) are invisible in your system. You may check the following:
    Use t.code <b> OOATTRCUST </b>
In the screen that opens select your scenario for which you cant see these entries. i.e. sales, marketing , service etc.
And then double click on the attributes/ scenarios folder from the left hand frame.
You will now see a large list of attributes. See if your attributes (Division, distribution channel, tupel etc) are made invisible becos of the check box invisible being ticked besides each of them.
If so, uncheck it. You should now see the entries.

  • Re-Synch of ERP HR Org Model with CRM

    Hi All
We replicate HR Organisation Model changes from ERP HR to CRM.  However, some time ago the HR distributional model was amended so that relationship data (infotype 1001) was not included in any of the group filters (BD64).
As a result we now have Org Units, Positions and Person objects that have transferred to CRM that are isolated and not linked to other objects.  I need to re-synch the CRM org model.  I know which filter settings I need to add for for new org model changes but how do I fix the existing org model objects that don't have the correct relationships?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Mark

    I found the solution.
    It's the object com.sap.caf.eu.gp.callobj.manager.SAPHRManagerResolveCO

  • Number range for org model

    Hi,
Can i give the BP number range as external for the org units created in org model, so that i can give an external number while creating the org unit in the org model.
    thanks,
    Sarat.

    Hi Sarat,
Any Org unit created in the Org model will be created as BP and you can give the number range.
What i suggest is go to best practises in help.sap.com and select C02_BB_Configurationguide_en and this has the details how you can give the number range and grouping.
Thanks and reward points if helpful

  • Org Model in the CRM GUI

Where would I find concise help info on the organisation model. I am particularly interested on the way it should be shaped.
    Kindly advise and oblige.
    Regards,
    Tariq

Fine, I get your point, I am partocularly keen to know about the following issues:
    1. The validity dates for the org model. How and when should it be used. Every time I view it, I see it as valide from the current date to 3 month.
    2. The principle to be followed in its creation should be what? I understand it as:
           a. The sales org unit should be at par with my Sales Org and / or a sales office -- i dont find the
division being mentioned....Am I mistaken anywhere? (The division is made as "active")
           b. The position, as in General manager / Manager, forms below the sales org unit. If I have to
maintain two positions for one org unit. Position wise they are GM's but pertain to two different
grouping e.g. sales division. How would I go about it? Creating two different positions, say GM_1
and GM_2 where the suffixes 1 and 2 denote the different divisions or is there any other way out.
    3. I understand I can maintain several 'versions' of the org, model. If I can have a few tips on this too.
For the moment this could quench my thirst for info on the org model. Rest later as I 'digest' more..!!
    Thanks in advance.

  • Tables which stores org model in CRM

    Hi All,
Which tables stores the org model or the sales area in CRM.
    KRK

    Hi there,
The tables that stores the organization model main information are HRP1000 and HRP1001.
For working with information that relates the org.model with sales area, I normally use static methods of class CL_CRM_ORGMAN_SERVICES.
Check if this class may help you a little more in your needs.
    Kind regards,

  • Can TDMS transfer ORG Model in CRM

    Hi,
We are planning on using TDMS to refresh CRM Organizational model from CRM PRD system to the QA system. Didn't find document about whether this can be done or not. Since Org model is part of master data and TDMS can transfer master data, assume it'll work.
Has anyone done this and can confirm? Thanks for your help in advance!
    -Serine

    Hi Serine,
Yes, TDMS for CRM transfers the complete org model as it is part of master data.. But reduction cant be achieved based on Org Model...
TDMS for CRM has two package types similar to TDMS for ERP..
    1) Master & Configuration Data
    2) Master & Configuration Data along with time sliced transactional Data

  • ORG MODEL IN CRM

    HI GUYS,
In the Org model in CRM the person who worked before me assigned user record to the positon. He did not assign employee record to the position. Hence when I am updating the employee records in R/3 they are not getting updated in the ORG Model.
SO is there a way so that we can change user records to the employee records for all the positions in ORG MODEL

    Hi Zack,
I don't know there is an automated way of doing this. But the manual way is to go to ORG model transaction PPOMA_CRM and search for your root org unit. You can search by description. And then go to each position and place the cursor on user record and right mouse button, click delete assignment. This will delete the user assignment. In order to add the business partner (employee) place the cursor on position and say Assign-> Owner Business partner. In the dialog box you can either enter the user ID or business partner number if you know that.
In order to assign the employee ID, you need to first create a business partner employee role and assign the user ID in the identification tab
Sorry, I don't know if there is an easy way to assign all the employees at once unless you write a program for it.
    Hope this helps!
