Numbers 3.5 adds Transpose in the menu "Table"!

Numbers finally has added a transpose function in the menu "Table > Transpose Rows and Columns"!

A welcome new feature. And it's simple to use, too. Easier than Excel. And it works with both values and formulas.
In my initial excitement I was going to retire my Copy Transpose Automator Service. But then I thought better of it after I remembered the new Table > Transpose Rows and Columns always transposes the entire table.
If transposing just a range of cells within a table (for example, take a row of headers and quickly arrange them down a column instead) then the Copy Transpose still comes in handy.

If you use a regular pattern when entering values, press enter (return) after entering the last value in a row. That will take you to the first Body Cell of the next row.
Start in Cell B2
1 Tab 2 Tab 3 Enter
4 Tab 5 Tab 6 Enter
7 Tab 8 Tab 9 Enter
Now you are ready to type into B5 .
Another way that some people find easier is to enter one column at a time
Start at B2
1 enter
4 enter
7 enter
etc.
Now start with C2.
Use whatever suits your work flow.

Nsert/Update and Add Column at the same Table and at the "same" Time

Hello,
I want Insert/Update and Add Column at the same Table and at the "same" Time but in different sessions.
Example:
At first the "insert/update" statement:
Insert into TestTable (Testid,Value) values (1,5105);
After that the "add" statement:
Alter table TestTable add TestColumn number;
- sadly now I get the message: ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified
"insert/update" statement:
Insert into TestTable (Testid,Value) values (2,1135);
After that the execute commit.
I don't know when the first session set the commit statement so I want that the DB the "Alter Table..." statement execute if it's possible.
If it's possible I want to save a repeat loop with the "Alter Table..." statemtent.

You can't run a DDL statement against a table with transactions pending. Session 2 has to wait until session commits or rollbacks (or until the session is killed). That's just the way it is.
This makes sense if you think about it. The data dictionary has to be consistent across all sessions. If session 2 was allowed to change the table structure whilst session 1 has a pending transaction then the database is in an inconsistent state. This is easier to see if you consider the reverse situation - the ALTER TABLE statement run by session 2 does a DROP COLUMN TESTID rather than adding a column: now what should happen to session 1's INSERT statement? You have retrospectively invalidated a statement that was perfectly legal when it was executed.
If it's possible I want to save a repeat loop with the "Alter Table..." statemtent.Fnord.

Numbers don't add up all the time

I am new at this.
using Pro 9
I have an invoice and I have my numbers being mutiplied like this: Text41*Text42
I have my numbered being added like this: TotalRow17+TotalRow18+TotalRow19
They mutipliy ok , but they don't add correctly:
I have four bottom figures that should add up:
Added Items
Rental Fees
Total Material
Total Cost
They add up to the Added Items but one won't add up to the Total Cost- The total cost is only looking for 3 items, so that easy to check--so why would all of the item show in Added Items, but all but one won't show in Total Cost

Ok, I understand a little more about order, so I moved all my totals, to the bottom.
this should have fixed any adding sequence, but it still doesn't compute right.
check out the last 8 lines from the bottom--"add item.....................etc
I put in 2 and then $2 on the first line, go to the second line, do the same it only computes some of it.
then I go and delete them and some numbers stay in th "total cost".

How do I add folders on the menu toolbar using windows 7

On windows xp I just went to file and clicked on folders, new, and typed in a new heading on the menu bar. On windows 7 there is no folder line under file.

Firefox doesn't have such a Folder item in the File menu.

Add records to the physical table from Internal table

I am trying to insert the records from IT table to physical table. But, its not inserting. Please let me know how do I add the records to the table zebp_iv_cf_log.
I have used only few fields for example *
After looping I get about 800 records in it_non_ebp tab *
loop at non_ebp_inv.
    it_non_ebp-zspgrv = non_ebp_inv-spgrv.
    it_non_ebp-zspgrq = non_ebp_inv-spgrq.
    it_non_ebp-zspgrs = non_ebp_inv-spgrs.
    it_non_ebp-inv_ref_num = non_ebp_inv-xblnr.
    it_non_ebp-zspgrc = non_ebp_inv-spgrc.

I also tried inserting one by one by putting insert syntex within a loop but, it takes keeps processing.

for the internal table you are using for appending , you must declare it with the header line option
as
data it_non_ebp type table of zebp_iv_cf_log with HEADER LINE.
or else you can have a separate workarea of type zebp_iv_cf_log
as
data wa_zebp_iv_cf_log type zebp_iv_cf_log.
then the code should be like :
loop at non_ebp_inv.
wa_zebp_iv_cf_log -zspgrv = non_ebp_inv-spgrv.
wa_zebp_iv_cf_log -zspgrq = non_ebp_inv-spgrq.
wa_zebp_iv_cf_log -zspgrs = non_ebp_inv-spgrs.
wa_zebp_iv_cf_log -inv_ref_num = non_ebp_inv-xblnr.
wa_zebp_iv_cf_log -zspgrc = non_ebp_inv-spgrc.

Is there a way to add space between the menu items in
generated by Pop Menu Magic? By this I mean, can you have the

I have tried editing the p7pm CSS to acheive this in a page
design I'm roughing out. I get close sometimes but no cigar.....I

How to add script icon to menu bar?

On my MacBook Pro that was upgrated to Mountain Lion the script menu I installed years earlier remained after the upgrade. Just bought a new iMac and I can't find how to get the script icon in the menu bar. In Leopard, and maybe Snow Leopard, there was acutally a script to install the menu. The scripts I use work fine under Mountain Lion, I just want to add them to the menu bar. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

@ NoOneImportant - I did run that first, but it only found a few KDE odds and ends, it did however find Firefox, which is strange as after I installed it and logged out and back in again, was added to the Internet sub-menu, so why menu updating tool find this

How to add games in the add/remove section?

Having just switched from an other manufacture Netbook (total nightmare) to the Toshiba (amazing), my daughter (10) was wondering how come the number of games in the add / remove program is way less than in the other manufacture's add/remove program section?
Are there any other sources of games for this machine and if so, how do I add them to the add remove section?

The add remove programmes seems to be a cut down version of the package manager, which is normally run by the root/master user.
Go to preferences/main menu / administration and click on the synaptic package manager. This will add it to the menu selection under admin. Close the windows down.
Go to administration/synaptic package manager. This will open the add remove programmes in FULL.
You willl find many more games listed. The down side of adding this to the menu list i that it gives FULL access to operating system programmes as well as the games. Removal of some programmes from here could also remove dependancies for other programmes.
Perhaps you could set yourself up as the root user and add/remove programmes for her. Set her up without admin priveliges.

In this table create with entries with the same no as created in SXDA0
You need to create the Target Structures and assign them in SXDA2 and then in SXDA3 assign the attributes like Nodata, stype etc...
Its a little bit lengthy process. Once you create the entry in SXDA's you can then directly specify the entry no. in LSMW Maintain Object Attributes.
