Numbers documents, based on template "Event-Planning", are not working.

Hi,
I can not open any document in numbers ´09 (ver. 2.03) based on the template "Event-Planning". Also the template itself can not be opened. All other numbers documents are working.
During opening Numbers closes without any error message.
Please help me out.
Thx,
Stephan

Always the same problem. The new Hoefler Text.ttc is odd in its two successive versions.
Go to my idisk:
<http://idisk.me.com/koenigyvan-Public?view=web>
Download :
*For_iWork:10.5 Fonts:Hoefler.zip*
Unpack it and install the *Hoefler Text.dfont* file in the folder "*Macintosh HD:Library:Fonts:*"
In the same folder, select the *Hoefler Text.ttc* file
go to menu File > compress the file as a zip archive
When the compression process is finished, trash the original *Hoefler Text.ttc* file
Restart the system and Bingo, your document will wok correctly with the font choosen by its designer.

  • Since upgrading to Lion, iCal event invitations are not working well.

Since upgrading to Lion last week, I am having problems with sending iCal event invitations to large groups of people (say 10 people or more). Although my iMac, iPhone, and iPad iCals show that invitations have been sent, only a few of those invited have actually received event invite emails.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, any insight into the problem or solution?
    Thanks in advance.

    If you want.
or maybe install Snow Leopard using the disc it came on with my Mac and just set it up from a Time Machine Backup on my external hard drive (since it works under SL)?
Did you install Lion on an empty partition, or did you upgrade Snow Leopard?  If you upgraded, I'd not recommend erasing it, since your backups are apparently gone.  It's doubtful Snow Leopard will recognize them.
It's not just backups on the drive either, there are other important things on there, so why won't they show?
Mixing Time Machine backups and other data is not a good idea.  See #3 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.  It sounds like the whole disk is corrupted.
I just really don't understand how this happened. Could it not be an issue with WD because they haven't issued firmware to support Lion yet?
If this is a simple external HD, connected by USB or FireWire, no, unless you installed some of WD's software on it.  That shouldn't prevent it from being seen at all, but anything's possible.

  • The keys on my mac book pro (2009) are not working properly, both letters and numbers.  I think I pressed something, but I cannot find a numlock key or other to undo this problem

Both the letters and numbers on my mac book pro (2009) are not working correctly, but the caplocks key still lights up,the delete key is like a back key,the o key is enter, etc. I think I must of pressed a button but I cannot find numlock or the action to fix it back to normal.
    Need Help Please

Try this. Open one of your files. The window that contains your picture is named at the top. Command click on the name and you'll see the entire path starting with its name and then moving to the folder, the folder it is contained in, etc all the way to down to the hard drive volume name. This should tell you where to find the folder.

Numbers is not an Excel clone. Importing and exporting between Numbers and Excel will eventually build up glitches.
If the university only works with 'Windoze' it might be better if you use Excel or a free version of Office (for example, Libre Office or Open Office).
If your marks depend upon a professor who uses Excel, go with the flow.

  • Event dates are not bolded by Date Navigator in Outlook 2010

Event dates are not bolded by Date Navigator in Outlook 2010 on my own  calendar.  Events are set to busy but it is not working. View Settings > Other Settings > "Bolded dates in Date Navigator represent days containing items" is
checked. This previously worked for 2+ years but recently stopped working. All plugins were disabled, Outlook 2010 was uninstalled and then re-installed. OST file was deleted and re-synchronized with Exchange 2007. While the OST was re-synchronizing the
bolding worked properly but upon next restart of Outlook it went away. Another symptom is that my Scheduling Assistant does not show my free/busy times correctly in my local view. If I look at my own schedule via the Scheduling Assistant of another user, the
free/busy times show up correctly. My webmail account also correctly shows bolded dates and free/busy suggesting that this is a local problem. Some screen shots below. Anyone have any ideas as to what I need to tweak? Using Oulook 2010 v.14.7116.500 (32-bit).
This is not a shared calendar.

    Hi,
If you want to completely uninstall or remove Microsoft Office 2010, we can refer to the following article to do it:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/how-to-uninstall-or-remove-microsoft-office-2010-suites-HA104027750.aspx
Additionally, since the issue doesn’t happen in other computers, I think the issue may be also caused by some third-party programs in your original computer. If the complete uninstallation doesn’t help for this issue, I suggest we can try to perform a clean
boot in your Windows for more troubleshooting:

  • Web Template - Variable & Export to Excel Web Items are not working

    Hi Experts,
In a Web Report & Web Template Variable & Export to Excel Web Items are not working ; Any body have any idead ?
Do i need to write any HTML code to funtion those web items.
    Thanks
    KAruna

    Dear Karuna,
Review your default template. Probably is 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN.
Reactive the version D and check again.
Also, you are able to modify the webitems on Export to Excel on 'BUTTON_TOOLBAR_2' -> Button list number  4.
And, you are able to check the 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_EXPORT, in case of configuration.
If you want to remove/add new items, I suggest you to save as another name. SAP does not allow to modify delivered objects
    ex:. 0Objects.

  • Everytime when I quit FCP X, I could not find the file that was created previously. I'm aware files (events/projects) are saved automatically. But strangely when I reopen FCP, the event/projects are not listed.

I need help here. Saved events/projects are not visible or listed when I reopen FCP X. Tried to open from the event folder don't seem to work.
    I'm using MacOS X 10.6.8 and just bought FCP X 10.1.
    Help.

No. I'm not using two hard drives. Files saved on MacBook Pro HDD. Only time I use the second HD is for backup but while working on FCP X.
    This is unclear.
Do you have another HD with FCP X projects and / or events?
If you do (whether it's a backup or not) it will cause the exact problem you described. Make sure any other drives with FCP X events or projects are turned off before you launch FCP X.
If you don't have a second drive with events or projects, I suggest you try trashing your preferences.
Faults like this can sometimes be fixed by clearing out FCP X's preferences (for some reason, they get knotted up from time to time).
Download Digital Rebellion's Preference Manager (free, simple to use, and quite safe).
    http://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/
With Pref Manager, you can backup the Prefs first, then if trashing makes no difference, you can restore all your settings.
If you trash them and don't restore them, you will need to go over your FCP X settings again, so it's a great idea to backup Preferences from time to time when FCP X is working well, then you can ditch the bad prefs and restore from your (Digital Rebellion) backup.

  • Cascading prompts are not working after UNX conversion.

    Hi,
We have converted universe to UNX format, but after conversion the cascading prompts are not working. Following is the one of the example of the cascading prompt which is having issue:
We have cascading object named u201CGroup - Deviceu201D as below:
    CONCAT(CONCAT(@select(Performance Management\Group\Group Name),' - '),@select(Performance Management\Device\Device Name))
In the SQL Assistance windows, validate button properly validates this object.
Based on the above object, we have filter named u201CEnter/Select Group u2013 Deviceu201D with following definition:
    @select(Performance Management\Performance Reporting Objects\Performance Custom Dimensions\Group - Device) In  @prompt('Enter/Select Device Names','A','Performance Management\Performance Reporting Objects\Performance Custom Dimensions\Group - Device',Multi,Free,Not_Persistent)
When I click on the validate button for this filter, it doesnu2019t says whether the expression invalid or valid. It does not return anything. I checked the error log windows of IDT and it shows below error once we validate the above filter:
    Message: Unhandled event loop exception

This problem is for all the cascading prompts, and only single level prompts are working after conversion to UNX.
Can anyone please help on this? Am I missing any manual changes which are mandatory after UNX conversion for this to work.
    Thanks,
    Nilesh

    Hi Henry,
Thanks for your reply. Yes I have raised SAP ticket for this.
We are at BI 4.0 SP2 Patch 12.
This problem is for all the cascading prompts which created using objects which are having u201CLOV based on Query Panelu201D, it doesnu2019t return the results, when I edit the LOV > edit the query and then click refresh to see the data, the refresh button does not appear.
So I tried creating u201CLOV based on a custom hierarchyu201D as indicated in SAP note u2013 1666504 but it also doesnu2019t work. I used the object (that uses the LOV based on a custom hierarchy) to create the new cascading prompt, when I used this prompt in WEBI report, it only displays prompts for first value and not the second based on first input.
I searched SAP KB and found this note u2013 u201C1620378 - Cascading (nested) prompts are not working for Web Intelligence reports in BI 4u201D which describes bug related to cascading prompts in unv as well as unx. But I am not sure if itu2019s the same which I am getting.
    Thanks,
    Nilesh
