Numbers no longer shows most recent

Ever since updating my Mac mini to OS X Yosemite, Numbers and Pages will not show the Most Recent documents anymore. It shows the list option to view the Most Recent items, but it is always empty. How do I fix this?! PLEASE HELP!

Not Showing Most Recent Files

I've got a strange one. I've been able to network my imac to a dell laptop and they can see each other's shared directories. Tried to access an Excel file from the laptop and it didn't show the most recent file, but one that was nearly three weeks old. Is the imac caching the files anywhere? I didn't see any windows settings. Still getting used to the Mac world and didn't see any ability to refresh. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Any pattern? Are they the most recently created or modified? Anything in common about how they are named, or in the +dot plus three+ extensions? Are you still seeing the older version of files on the Mac compared to directly in Windows.
I've not used Windows 7 so I'm not familiar with any sharing filters that are possible. If you are still seeing older versions of files, and the ones you don't see on the Mac happen to be the most recently added to the folder, it still feels to me like you are actually connecting to a different sharepoint than what you believe... maybe one that is in an backup archive or something.

Itunes only showing most recent podcast

Apologies is this hasn't been asked before.
I use Libsyn to host my 'FIFA 08' podcast. It hosts it fine and works through iTunes but it only shows the most recent podcast; ignoring all the previously posted ones.
I spoke to the tech guys at libsyn and they said everything was setup correctly on their end and suggested it was an iTunes issue.
Does anyone have any advice?

I'm seeing 5 episodes listed on your page in the iTunes Store, and 6 episodes (the latest being today's) when I subscribe. No doubt this 6th episode will appear in the iTunes Store too when it next crawls your feed.
So maybe the problem you're seeing is with your install of iTunes? Have you tried looking at the iTunes Store from a different computer?

IPhoto 08 only showing most recent import

iPhoto 08 is only showing my most recent import, and the sidebar to the left has disappeared. The Library is still there, and presumably healthy at 21GB. I can see it fine in Time Machine, where I can see the sidebar and the Show Recent Import (or whatever that's called) is checked.
But I can't seem to find a way to show the sidebar in iPhoto, or through any other means or menu choice choose to Show All.
I feel like, but don't know, this complication arose when I started using the camera with my new iPhone 3GS. That is the new import that iPhoto 08 is choosing to show me.

Move your cursor to the extreme left of the iPhoto Window until it becomes a ‘+’, then click and drag right.

"Recent Activity" - not always showing most recent replies

I replied to this thread in the Essbase space: hammerora equivalent
The 'Recent Activity' list for the space - Essbase - still shows the original question ('RobertAngel asked...') as the preview rather than my reply, although it does show '1 Reply'.
Is there a reason that some threads show the most recent reply in the 'Recent Activity' listing and others do not? Difficult to see quickly what's been going on in the Space. Never noticed the behavior before, personally.

History only shows most recent.

When I search for some web page I visited in a previous day, only those sites I visited today show up , regardless of whether I select "last week" or "last 6 months" or "today". Is there some setting I should change to keep all my history sorted out and accessible?

I think that you only see the last visit date of a web page and pages that you have visited in the time frame are included, but they show with the most recent visit of that web page and not when you visited in that time frame (there might also be multiple visits in that time frame). 
This makes pages that you visit regularly show up in every time frame with their last visit date.
I can see that with this query for November and sort by location:
place:beginTime=1383260400000000&endTime=1385852400000000&sort=4&type=1

Open Recent for V5.5 Not Showing Most Recent

After upgrading to Pages 5.5, the Open Recent list of documents is buggy - sometimes after saving a document, the list of recent documents is updated and sometimes not. Before upgrading to Yosemite and version 5.5 of Pages, this feature worked.
Clearing the menu has not resolved this issue. Changing the Recent Items number in System Preference has not resolved this issue.
I tried to report this issue using the Apple feedback link, but the dropdown menu for version number only went up to V 5.2.
Any suggestions? Anyone else having this issue?

Mail used to go to the last message I viewed when I selected a particular mailbox. Somehow my settings must have changed, because now when I navigate between different mailboxes, it just selects the first message instead of the most recently viewed. I have that same behavior occurring, but in only one mailbox. Whenever I open that particular mailbox, it defaults to the top -- i.e. oldest -- message. Every other mailbox I have defaults to the bottom -- i.e. newest -- message. Why the heck is that happening, and how do I get it to follow the same pattern as all the other mailboxes?

I want to be able to see my last visted sites. History does not show most recent last visted sites.

When accessing the history tab, VIEW, 'By Lasted Visited' I don't get the most recent sites I have visited. What do I have to do to see the most recent site I have visited?

Make sure that you not run Firefox in (permanent) [[Private Browsing]] mode.
* You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
* To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
* Uncheck: [ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"
Make sure that "Remember my browsing history" has a check-mark

Show all History is no longer showing since recent update

After a recent Firefox update my History disappeared when doing "Show all History". Have checked preferences. Settings seemed to have not changed. How do I fix?

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Podcasts no longer showing in Recently Added on iPod

I recently received an update to iTunes. The next time I synced my iPod with new podcasts (which I download in reverse order[1] so that the items I want to listen to first are the last ones downloaded) I could not find my podcasts in the "Recently Added" section. Has there been a change to the way iPods are handled? If so why?

In Firefox 5, Why doesn't New Tab show most recent sites I logged on to?

In F4, when I opened a new tab I was presented with a screen of the last sites I visited. Now I've upgraded to F5 I just get a blank page. Seems like a retrograde step, can you fix it? (and encourage Google to update their toolbar!)

We have seen reports about a Community Toolbar extension causing this issue with not being able to open a new tab.

IPhoto only showing most recent version in time machine

When I access time machine with iPhoto open, I get the current iPhoto screen, and then a series of blank screens behind it. The date bar to the right shows that I should have backups as far as Feb 2012. If I mouse over to them, they zoom out to show exact dates. If I click on one of these dates, nothing happens. I gave it 5 minutes sitting quiety just in case it was having trouble loading all the photos. No dice. The photos are in fact on the time machine backup drive, as I can access them manually by going to the specific backup set, finding iPhoto library, show package contents and navigate to the picture I want. So, it's there... just can't get to it via TM.
Any ideas on this one?

F4 Help Option for fiscal year/period to show most recent one first

Hello Friends, We have audit team which wants this F4 Help for fiscal year/period to show the per/year in the current one first and then old one. Like 007/2007, 006/2007 -
012/2005
Please tell me if there is any Settings in Web template or in BI to make this work. Please help asap since auditor are required to test the reports for SOX.

i don't think it's possible... if you want you can restrict it to fiscal year 2007.
