Numbers of days issue

Hi experts,
I have an issue getting the numbers of days of the month.
Here's my scenario:
- Number of days of the month is a KF (averdage) whitin the cube and it is calculated in the transformation
- It has the number of day of the month for each day that the employe works.
I have a calculated KF that has "Number of worked days / Numbers of days of month" and it works only when the employee is been shown. If not, for ej. jus drilled down the month/year, the numbers of days of month are been sumarized when what I need is a constant number of days.
Can anybody help me please?

Hi,
For Number of days create a formula and include the Number of days from cube and use Exception aggregation as Average based on Fiscal Year period. This will give you a standard number of days.

Acrobat Distiller has stopped working (not 30 day issue)

I've been running CS6 on my Windows 7, 64 bit machine since at least October. I had the 30 day issue at the 30 day mark, but resolved it and it's worked flawlessly for months after that. Now, I get an error message that says Acrobat Distiller has stopped working. My only option is to close that window. Acrobat continues to work to read, edit and save an already created PDFs. Here are where I experience errors.
I can create a new PDF within Acrobat. If I click "Create PDF" then choose a Word Doc, it gives me at least two times the error message that Acrobat Distiller has stopped working. If I keep closing that message, eventually the pdf will have been created and will be in the Acrobat window and the file will be saved.
I can't print to PDF at all. When I try from within Acrobat, I see a little window that says it's checking fonts, then the Distiller stopped working error message. When I try printing to pdf from other programs (have tried Word, Firefox), crashes. It could be a one page document with just text, or something with pictures - no go. I just tested it again - now Acrobat is not responding. I can't end the Acrobat process - have tried closing the window, and saying end process, tried ending Acrobat from within task manager, tried ending the acrobat and acrotray processes - multiple times in Task Manager and Acrobat won't close.
I don't know how to fix this. I've checked to make sure Acrobat was updated; I've updated my Windows; I've reinstalled Acrobat. Nothing fixes it.
When I run Acrobat Distiller, it freezes seemingly in the midst of checking fonts.   Here is the text of the problem details section of the error message I get:

I think I may have fixed my problem... I am no longer seeing the Distiller stopped working pop up and I am now able to print to PDF
Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit
My Fonts and program are all installed on the same drive thus preventing me from gaining access to Distiller to change the settings. Windows would not let me make any changes to the Default Font folder.
This is what I did...
Not knowing which font(s) where causing the problem, I moved all but protected fonts (automatically labelled) from the Window's Font folder and placed them in a temporary folder.
I restarted Distiller DC and great news...the program did not crash and I was able to change the settings to temporarily not include the Windows Fonts .No more pop ups and I can now print to PDF!
What I am going to do..
Through the process of elimination, I will gradually restore the fonts I removed from from the Window's folder to find the culprits(s)
Once I am satisfied that the problem Font(s) are found and no longer included in the Window's Font folder, I will change the settings in Distiller back (permanently) to include the Window's Font folder.
In closing, and because so many others are having the same issues, I really do think it would be prudent for Adobe to make the necessary adjustments to their program(s) to prevent this kind of issue.

Page numbering/imbedded font issue ~ converting from Word 2003?

I am new to this forum, so please forgive me if this issue has been addressed 100 times already!
I am preparing a novel for publication through Createspace (Amazon). Their requirements include that the fonts all be imbedded, and that page numbering begins with '1' on the first page of the story. When I convert my properly numbered word 2003 file to pdf, it comes out looking great, but the page numbers begin with 5 on first page of the story. So I have 2 questions:
If the pages look okay in terms of font, does that mean that my fonts are correctly imbedded in the pdf?
and
Is there a way for me to control the page numbering so it begins with 1 on the first story page?

I'm terribly sorry for the trouble. We are working to address the problem with page numbers in an upcoming release, but for now I recommend you try the conversion again using Adobe Acrobat desktop software. You could download a free 30 day trial if needed here:

Serial numbers in Goods issue

Hi All,
We have an existing Warehouse management process where the Goods issue is first posted. This creates a transfer order. The IDOC created by the transfer order tells the external system to Pick a material.
Now we are trying to introduce serial numbers to certain materials. The problem we are facing is that, it is not until the material gets picked up at the warehouse that we know what the serial number is.
So, is there a way to create a Goods issue first, then once the material gets picked up, update the goods issue ( or the serial number history ) with the serial number that actually gets picked up.

I am thinking you can update the serial numbers even after goods issue, try VL02N and check if the system allows. If it does allow use the following FM to update the serial numbers:
Ensure you sort the serials by position otherwise the update might not work.
fails to update properly

When will Adobe fix 'Acrobat not launch after 30 days' issue?

For several users at our company this is a major problem. For myself as well because I have had to reinstall CS6 multiple times for the same user. This is not a permanent solution.
When will there be a permanent fix for this dear Adobe?

Adobe has already released a patch to fix the same.

and install the patch. It will definitely fix the issue you are facing.

I'm having numbers and iCloud issues

Does anyone know how I can get numbers on my iPad and numbers on my iPhone to sync? I keep trying to turn on iCloud on my iPhone and it is on for about a minute then automatically shuts off. Any help would be appreciated

Are you having problems or performance issues?
I'd really not worry about what that utility states, if your computer is running well. OSX manages memory exceedingly well and it cleans up RAM whenever it needs too. Some times it doesn't release all the memory from a program because the library may be used again and it will be quicker to keep it there. Another potential issue is some applications including apple's have memory leaks. memory that isn't released but is "lost" this is caused by bugs in the software, safari for instance keeps grabbing ram but not releasing it. Closing the application typically resolves this problem.
I've not heard of the utility that you referenced and to be honest, I'd not really worry about. It is possible that the utility is not correctly reporting back memory consumption. Take a look at the activity monitor found in applications->utilities. It will give you a fairly good picture of the memory is being managed.

Running Config Kron Occurrence Day Issue

I am having an issue with IOS accepting a day (Sunday) specified when creating a Kron occurrence in IOS 12.2. I'm printing a copy of the running config then sending it off to an FTP server on the same subnet.
The occurance is to cli write the following Backup kron policy:
"kron policy-list Backup
cli show run | redirect ftp://x.x.x.x/example-voice-core-01.cfg"
With the occurrence being entered in as:
"#kron occurrence Backup at 23:00 Sun recurring"
This command gets accepted in config mode and writes the following to the kron occurrence list:
"kron occurrence Backup at 23:00 recurring
policy-list Backup"
Am I missing something? The occurrence works and i see the config on the FTP server each night at 23:00, but it doesn't include the fact that I am only looking for it to occur on a Sunday. I have tried the command with "Sun", "sun", and "Sunday", but obviously "Sun" should be working.
My clock settings are also ok.
Any help would be appreciated.

90 days Issue with ITunes match

I see many people seem to have this issue but i do not see a solution.
I followed apples directions and moved my Itunes media to an exturnal drive and it worked just fine. However it tells me that i have to wait 72 days untill i can access my Itunes match becuase its a different Apple ID. I only have one ID and i'm the only user of the computer !!!! All i did was relocate the files per apples instructions.
Whats the deal with that ?
Anyone have some advise?

You just need to be patient. The initial scan, match and upload process does not happen instantly. It takes some time.

90 day issue-call to support hasn't sorted it-

Tried to log in to match on my ipad- no go as I got a message stating that another ID was associated with the device. Called support who were very lovely and asked me to log in as my husband and then de-activate the device under his ID. This I did but I still cannot use it- a message about 90 days- bit of a nightmare as I need for the lesson I am currently taking! Any thoughts?

Adhoc query - Total payroll day issue on infotype 2001

Dear Expert,
I am working on the adhoc query and would like to generate the total number of payroll days taken by a particular employee.
E.g. Employee A has 4 leave record in Nov 2011
14-Nov, 16, Nov, 23 Nov, 25 Nov
When I select the reporting period between 1-Nov-2011 to 30-Nov-2011, the total payroll days generated by the adhoc query is only 1. I am not sure why. Please help

Might be remaining days are Non working days/Weekly offs/ Holidays falls..
You Better Check through PA30 Overview of Absence records, Whether the Days are deducted from Quota or not.

Excel import to numbers- date format issue?

importing excel to numbers means my date format goes to a 5-digit number. I've ensured that the Excel cells are correctly formatted as dates but it keeps happening. Any ideas?

Do you know if it's possible to modify the quantity of days which can be seen in the app calendar on an iphone 4s ?

By "location" I meant the location on the phone. On the iPhone 5 the jack is on the bottom, near the dock connector. This location change could interfere with the operation of some accessories.
The internal pin connections have not changed but there may have been a change in the power available for the microphone. This shouldn't affect headsets, but could affect other devices that get their power from the headset jack. such as some IR remote apps or card readers.

Number of days issue

Hello everyone,
Here is my problem. My user wants to have the number of days in a report based of an interval dates from posting date.
This is simple enough, i can just uses a formula variable to give the difference between the dates.
But, if the user desided to drop in the posting period into the results rows, the user would like each period to show only the days in that period.
So 01/05/2001 - 03/01/2001
Would show a total 49
If the user puts period in the results the user wants to see
Period 1 Period 2 Period 3
26 28 1
Any ideas?

It looks like your calculations doesn't depend on the date that the report is executed.
Aren't you able then to calculate that differences on the data upload writing the result to a new key figure?
If you have a record per each period then the solution is easy. If not... well then we'll have to think about another solution

Numbers toolbar size issue

Hi there, im new to macs, can someone please tell me how to increase the size of the toolbar at the top of the page (contains all the font adjustments)
Id rather not have to increase the size of the screen in the system preferences as i want a large screen its just this one bar is particularly small.

All options except for the font are available in the Inspector which is far easier to read.
Menu bar > Format is an alternative as are other menu bar options, There are usually several ways to do the same thing with a Mac
User Guide is available under Numbers on the Menu Bar.
Quick keys help too. Note Many windows shortcuts work if you change the control key for the command key.
Change font size ~ command + or -
Left, Centre and Right alignment ~ command shift *{ | }*
Bold or italic ~ command b or i

Numbers CSV language issues. Whats wrong?

I am having a big issues with CSV files I need to open. They are in Japanese. They do not show up correctly at all. I have tried to do this in Excel for OSX and still not happening. This should really work. I have tried a number of fonts and encoding as well.

Fonts are irrelevant, but did you specifically try the encodings utf-8 and utf-16?
