Numbers on my Mac says waiting, doesn't update with iCloud

I've tried resetting my devices and data on iCloud, and restarted all my devices, but that has not resolved the issue.

It sounds like your iOS device is in the process of uploading the spreadsheet to iCloud. The article below should help as it provides more information about about the Waiting alert and troubleshooting suggestions.

If a Numbers spreadsheet created on an iOS device doesn’t appear in Numbers for iCloud beta
Check the following:
Make sure your device is connected to the Internet.
Verify that your iCloud account is set up on your iOS devices, and that Documents & Data in iCloud preferences is turned on for each.
Verify that iCloud is turned on for the Numbers app on each device where you want to access the spreadsheet. Tap Settings, then Numbers, then turn on iCloud.
Verify that your iOS devices have iOS 7 or later installed in order to have the latest version of Numbers installed.
Make sure the spreadsheet isn’t in the process of being uploaded. Open Numbers on your iOS device. If the spreadsheet appears with an upload pending icon , it’s being uploaded. When the upload process is complete, the spreadsheet should appear in Numbers for iCloud beta.
Verify that your iCloud account password is correct, and that it’s updated on your iOS devices and computers.
Check your remaining iCloud storage space on your iOS device. Tap Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
If you need additional space, you can either purchase more, or you can delete one or more of your spreadsheets stored in iCloud. For information on how to purchase storage, go to iCloud Help.
If a Numbers spreadsheet created on a Mac doesn’t appear in Numbers for iCloud beta
Check the items listed in the above task, as well as the following:
Verify that your iCloud account is set up on your computer, and that Documents & Data in iCloud preferences is turned on in System Preferences.
On your Mac, make sure the spreadsheet isn’t in the process of being uploaded. Open Numbers on your Mac, or choose File > Open if Numbers is already open. If the spreadsheet appears with a small iCloud icon or the wordwaiting next to it, it’s being uploaded. When the upload process is complete, the spreadsheet should appear in Numbers on your iOS device and in Numbers for iCloud beta.
Make sure the spreadsheet isn’t an unsupported file type. Currently, Numbers for iCloud beta supports only Numbers, Microsoft Excel, or CSV file types.

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder], so probably you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data, if you don't already ''totally'' uninstall firefox(user data and settings like bookmarks, extensions, etc. located here: ~Library/Application Support/Firefox so you must uninstall it separately, to totally uninstall firefox).

Several times a month, when I go to open Firefox, it says "wait installing new updates". After they are installed, Firefox won't open, it says "page not found." I have to then reload Firefox. How can I stop these updates?

Before Firefox open the little window opens saying"wait installing new updates." Then after when opening Firefox, my home page says "can't find this page. I have plugged in the address: http://www.google.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official and it Firefox still won't open. I have to run the Firefox setup 3.6.3 on my desktop, to get Firefox to open on my home page. I would like to stop these automatic Updates from running; how?

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

When I go to update software, I get a box that says there is an update with a smaller box over it that says there are no available updates. It did not used to do this.

If you can't install on top of the current installation then you need to delete or rename the current Firefox program folder to do a clean install.
It is possible that your security software is using or locking files, so you can try to temporarily disable that software during the installation.

perfect. ok do the following:
settings > mail, contacts, calendars > go into the exchange account. You should have an email in the account field...[email protected] or [email protected], etc.... I am assuming you don't remember the password to this exchange account so once you know the email, you can go to email providers site and click on forgot password and you will go through the steps to get a new password. Once you do this, you will need to go back into your "exchange account " and the field that has the exchange email > touch the > to open settings. Change the password to your new password you got from above. Once you do this, you can add the exchange account to your ipad and all of your contacts will sync to both devices.
Please confirm.

First, to get the tray open. You need to push harder.
Secondly, Does it have a wall power plug? If the battery is dead, it's won't work. Try to charge it with the wall plug adopter and not through the computer. Some USBs don't put out power so, are you pluging it into a Powered USB?
Try these and let us know.
OH! If you got it wet, you may have ended it. Did you get it wet? You could try putting it in a bag of rice, and hope it works.

Apps still say waiting since iOS update ?

My Instagram and 3 other apps are just saying waiting ... And I've tried to delete , restart and reset phone but they are still saying the same thing ..

If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
If it's happening on all apps then try closing them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e.not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Cant open logic 9,get a message saying logic doesn't work with osx lion 10.7.5

I'm running OSX Lion10.7.5 and I reinstalled Logic 9 and a message comes up "logi 9.0.0 doesn't work with this OSX", I first installed Logic when I had OSX 10.5.8 and it worked.

Thunderbird doesn't authenticate with iCloud!

Is there any info yet on why iCloud email doesn't work with thunderbird? I copy the same exact server information from Outlook 2010 (where it works normally) and thunderbird fails authenticating.
So frustrating. I do not want to be using Outlook 2010 for email now .

SOLUTION!!!!
It works with some minor tweaking in about:config. However, I now have to resync all of my mailboxes (not sure how that one worked out =P).
In thunderbird, go to Tools, Options, Advanced, General, Config Editor
Search for the string 'mail.server.server'
You should see a bunch of listings as mail.server.server#, where # = 1,2,3, etc
Look for the entry that says 'mail.server.server#.name' and find the name of the account that you have as your iCloud account in Thunderbird. Record the value of # in your brain.
Now go to mail.server.server#.authMethod and set it to 2
At this point, it should connect, but it may lose all of your folders. Just right click your account in the navigation pane, and click Subscribe and update accordingly.
If you just want to see your folders without redownloading everything again, go to Tools, Account Settings, Server Settings (for the iCloud email), Advanced, and uncheck 'Show only subscribed folders'
Everything should now work. This forces thunderbird to use the old-style IMAP login (I believe what Outlook uses and why Outlook 2010 works).
UPDATE: I seem to have had a problem with imap.mail.me.com today, so I switched to p99-imap.mail.me.com and it worked fine.

My Calendar doesn't update with iPhone sync even though it then updates my iPad

My Calendar on my iMac doesn't update when syncing with iPhone (the most updated device on my Calender), even though it then updates after I sync my iPad? By this I mean it updates the system on my iMac because it then passes it onto my iPad. Help PLEASE??????

Mac Contacts changes are not updated on iCloud

My Mac and iPad are both linked to iCloud. Almost everything syncs perfectly. In Contacts I can make changes/additions on the iPad or in iCloud on the web, and the changes propagate to the others, including the Mac.
HOWEVER, if I make changes to Contacts on the Mac, they do NOT appear in iCloud or the iPad.
What do I need to check to find the problem?

Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

Address book on MacPro doesn't sync with iCloud

I have put contacts in my address book and it's not being sync to my other devices or the iCloud.
I tried to uncheck the addressbook in icould on my mac and then rebooted and checked it again. Still won't sync.

The numbers for mac doesn't sync with icloud after update

if i open icloud in finder all the documents appear with the cloud, but all this document has allready be on the icloud before.
i can sync between ipad and iphone but not with the mac

Make sure you have ticked Numbers in System Preferences > iCloud.
You may need to sign out of iCloud and then back in again to "jumpstart " the syncing.
