Numbers OSX not seeing iCloud documents

Numbers is syncing on iCloud on all of my IOS and OSX devices, but on my home iMac even though the documents show up in iCloud on system preferences they don't show up in the Numbers application.
I'm stumped! Why wouldn't the numbers app see the documents even if they are clearly present on iCloud everywhere else?
I've tried reinstalling Numbers, repairing permissions, re-synching the apps. Disabling and re-enabling iCloud...nothing seems to work!
All other devices are syncing fine, and as I said if I go into System Preferences I can see the documents. It's just the Numbers application itself that doesn't seem to see the iCloud documents.
Any suggestions?

Calendar uses a different protocol to sync. But I *think* TextEdit and third-party apps use 'Documents & Data' just as iWork does.
I've never noticed that 'Manage' button. I see that it gives you a look at usage and, of course, a convenient way to buy more space!
I assume you've double-checked the top-left corner to make sure you're not out of space.
One thing you might try (after making sure you have backups of things you really need) is to copy a Numbers document into the Library > Mobile Documents > com~apple~Numbers folder and see if that somehow "kick-starts" the sync.
I assume you've done all the usual things–shutting down and restarting the Mac, etc.

Pages & Numbers do not see iCloud documents

Numbers 2.5 (1711) and Pages 2.5 (1712) on my iOS8.2 iPhone 5 do not see my of my iCloud documents.
I use the same Apple ID & password for my iMac, iPad, & iPhone, and have no syncing issue with the Calendar, Contacts, Passbook, Messages, Keychain, iTunes, FaceTime, Maps, Safari, Reminders, Photos, or Notes across the three devices.
I have turned on the iCloud iPhone settings, including those under the Numbers & Pages Apps, but when I open Pages or Numbers on my iPhone they display, “No document. Tap to create a new spreadsheet” or “No Spreadsheet. Tap to create a new spreadsheet” respectively.
When I check Pages or Numbers iCloud setting after opening them, the setting is off.
Numbers & Pages on my iMac, and my iPad can access & sync all my iCloud documents without any issue.

Iwork Apps does not see iCloud

on my iMac, pages, keynote, and numbers can't see iCloud as an option to open or save documents. Preview and the Text application on my Mac can use icloud just fine. Are there any settings or troubleshooting steps I can do?

Are you using Mountain Lion? If not, you will need to upgrade to Mountain Lion as well as updating the iWork apps to 9.2.
If you are using Mountain Lion & have updated iWork, you do need to enable Documents & Data in System Preferences > iCloud.

I have recently done a full restore because my iPad and iPhone were mis-behaving and wouldn't work they way I expected with Windows XP and Outlook 2003 and now when I check iCloud.com, all my documents are gone, yet my iPad hints that they may still be somewhere but where are they?

That is the orientation lock symbol, you can not go to landscape orientation. Tap the home button twice, swipe the task bar to the right, tap on the 'circle' icon at the left to unlock the orientation. You will then be able to view items in portrait and landscape mode.

Is this a problem with only one order? or with all the Orders of the same "Order Type".
If this is with only one Order, check goods movements actually done or not?
If this problem is with other Orders as well (same Order Type), then with the T.Code; OPL8.
In the 2nd Tab Page (Implemenation) - Whether the Check boxes are filled for Documented Goods Movements??

Mac will not open iCloud "Documents" - No Errors

Over the past few days, I have noticed that my iCloud documents will not open on my Mac.
I am able to edit them on my iOS devices. (via Numbers, Pages, Keynote for example)
I am able to Save new documents to my "iCloud"
I am NOT able to open the new documents from my iCloud
I am able to edit the new documents on my iOS devices
I am able to save new documents to my local machine
I am able to open the new documents from my locla machine
I have not made any preference changes to the system. The only way I am eventually able to OPEN iCloud documents, is by completely restarting the system. Then it works, at least for the first few times I have tried.
Any thoughts as to how to root cause?

I am not sure why this works, but it worked for me.
The behavior I am experiencing happens when I open Numbers for the first time, I am prompted with the open dialog box. If I attempt to open a file from my icloud in that dialog, I am unable to open any document, i.e. this is the behavior I am experiencing.
I opened a file from my local machine
Left the file open from my local machine
I then used File- > Open and chose a a file from iCloud
The iCloud document opened successfully.

Network users no being able to open/see iCloud documents

I have a local network. All the network users are working without any glitch. They are able to use mail/contacts/etc from iCloud.
iWork is able to open/see only local/network files but iCloud ones. Is anyone having the same problem?

In addition, after doing this trick, if using a network user on a client machine I can see the "Mobile Documents" folder where the iCloud documents are stored (there was not such a folder before) in all my network users. However, not accesible from the iWork apps.

Numbers will not use iCloud

I have numbers installed on both my iPhone 4s and my ipad1. Using my PC I uploaded a spreadsheet to iCloud no problem. I can access the spreadsheet from my iPhone but not the iPad. When I check the settings for numbers on my iPad the 'use iCloud' is always turned off, even when I turn it back on it turns itself off again. Please help as the iCloud sync was exactly why I bought numbers and it doesn't work.

Just for the record, I also had a similar issue to tomfromripon. Keynote, Pages, and Numbers applications on my 1st generation iPad all of the sudden stopped synching with iCloud. (They had been all set up and were working correctly a month or so ago, then noticed the syncing issue on 16 September).
Checked that all of the latest OS and application software was installed; toggled the 'Use iCloud' option for each of the applications; toggled the 'Documents & Data' option in iCloud settings; rebooted the iPad; reinstalled all of Keynote, Pages and Numbers; all to no effect.
The issue was resolved by restoring the iPad. (This is a relatively painless process if a backup of the device is taken just prior to restoring, which appears to be part of the restore process in any case).
Just like tomfromripon, a boring solution but it works!

Pages on my Mac will not open iCloud documents.

I am suddenly unable to open any of my saved documents on iCloud from Pages on my Mac. I can download them via the web app, and I can open them on my iphone. However, when I select the file in Pages on my Mac, then click open. Nothing happens.

Below is the section for a software issue that occurs in one application only:
For example, one application does not open or unexpectedly quits. Mac OS X v10.4 and later can help with applications that unexpectedly quit by offering to open the application with default settings. If this doesn't help, skip to "Drag the application to the Trash and reinstall it if the issue persists..." below.
Make sure you are using the latest version of the software. Check with the manufacturer if the product is published by a third party.
If the issue only occurs while using a specific document, try creating a new document or replacing your document with a backup. Your document may be damaged. If possible, try testing with either a new file or a known-good file.

Can not see appraisal document

We are implementing ESS - Performance management in portal, once i click the overview page (hap_start_page_powl_ui_ess)in the portal i can see list of appraisal documents, but when i click any of the document, it does not brings to the document page (HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT). Where as the same page in the webdynpro URL is working fine.(outside portal)
Please adive what is missing? in protal or R/3,

Why I do not see iCloud icons in Mavericks Finder?

Preferences panel on Mavericks do not help me to enter my iCloud account. It sends back a message saying to try later. As a result, there is no way I can send files to be stored in iCloud, or see what is already in there. I think seriously in moving to Microsoft OneDrive.

What do you plan to do with Mail, Contacts and Calendars sync, Bookmarks and so on and so on.

Not seeing Portable Document File in the Content type listing

Newly downloaded and installed Firefox doesn't have Portable Document File format option in the Content Type listing. I have downloaded Adobe Reader 11 which is working fine parallely. The Plug-in's and Add-Ons have all been set correctly.

As I try to use Messages on my Mac, I cannot get the Mac, Iphone and Ipad to sync the messages. As I set up text message sharing on my iphone, I note that my Mac is not seen to share. How can I get my iphone to see my mac and how do I get messages synced between all my devices.
