Numbers transfer files problem

I am trying to transfer files from my Mac to an IPAD Mini. The files appear on the itunes shared files numbers window, but they will not transfer to the IPAD Mini. I have tried the sync button numerous times. I am running OS X 10.8.2 and IPAD Mini 6.0.2.and attached to the Mac by the USB cable.

Since I have posted this question I have figured out the solution.
Follow the directions to add the file to 'shared files' on the itunes screen. Then go to your ipad. Select the APP (Numbers) that you want the file to go to. On the Numbers page where you select which spreadsheet you wish to view, select the '+' at the top left of the screen. From the new window select 'copy from itues'. The next window will allow you to select the file you would like to load from itunes onto the ipad.

I have used Dreamweaver CS3 without any problems for 2 years and now suddenly the file transfers are very slow and will never end. I use Passive FTP as recommended by my web hotel. When I check in the log there are a lot of timeouts, then it connects again and transfer a file, timeout etc. The files seems to been transferred what I can see. But I always have to cancel the acutal transfer to make another one. I have talked to my web hotel and they have tested without any problems. When I transfer with FileZilla there is no problems at all.

Now I have found a solution to my problem with timeouts when transferring files in CS4. When the problem occurs I can cancel the activity and then go to "Manage site" and do nothing(!). When I try again to put out the file after that, it works without timeouts!
What happens with the connection when I enter "manage site"? I would like to set up the preferences correctly (I have the recommended set up by Adobe today I think) so I do not have to do this every time I want to transfer a file.
This is really strange - since I have made no changes in the site setup the day problems started.

Transfer file problem (code attached for diagnosis)

I tranfer a file from server to client. First I want to send a message to the client. I use printWriter to write a line to indicate a file will be followed. However sometimes, I can receive the file, and sometimes, I cannot.
If I get rid of printWriter stuff, I can receive the file without failure. Can some one point out the problem? Thanks.

Zen Micro Transfer Files Problem.

Hello, Ive had this Zen Micro for about 3 weeks already, perhaps even a month or so.
The music on it is fine and whatnot, the thing that is happening now is that whenever I try to upload music to it, the song doesnt even get to start loading, it just says..."Pending", and then it reads as, "Failed". This has occurred more than once already. Ive already uninstalled everything and have installed it all over again twice now, and still same problem.
Now, with Window Media Player, it used to work, but then exactly when Media Explorer stopped working, so did WMP.
It gave me this as an error: 8004200C
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
When you try to copy data to the external drive, what happens? If you don't see any error, the external drive is formatted in NTFS, and OS X can't write in it.
To be able to write on this external drive, you have to use an app like Paragon NTFS. Another solution would be to format the external drive in FAT32 or exFAT with Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html Make sure you copied all the files of the external disk to the internal disk before doing it

This is an anoying problem faced while tryin to mark/select desired numbers of files inorder to copy/move/delete etc. It would b much easier if there is a way or a method to simplify this problem to ease the marking system in this phone. We've seen a few of these, for no obvious reason (I don't think any others had a permissions error, so it's probably not related).
Start with a "full reset" of TM, per #A4 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting.
If that doesn't help, try repairing the backups, per #A5 there.
If still no help, your installation of OSX may be damaged. Try installing the "combo" update, per Installing the ''combo'' update and/or Reinstalling OSX.
If still no help, try installing a fresh version of Snow Leopard (that won't disturb anything else), per the same article.
A few of the folks that were having this problem solved it with a fresh install of OSX and installing the 10.6.7 "combo" instead of the 10.6.8 version. For some others, however, that didn't help.

Hi..i just got a brand new 6300
but i've got a problem with transfering file via bluetooth from my laptop to my phone
sumhow i can transfer file from my phone to my laptop, and i also can transfer image file from my laptop to my phone...

Make sure that you have enough phone memory available, even if you are transferring to the memory card.
When sending files by bluetooth they are transfered (cached) to the phone then the phone transfers them to the memory card.
Also you should transfer files one at a time.
If you are transfering lots of MP3's you would be better off using a data cable as it will be a lot quicker.

Look in the iTunes App Store, there are both BT and Wi-Fi apps for transfering files of different sorts.
Or you can use an app like Dropbox.

Transfer files from SAP R/3(unix server) to windows

Hi TechGurus,
We have a requirement where in , we are extracting data from SAP table into a text file using OPEN DATASET in TEXT MODE.
Then using a third party tool (Connect-direct), we are transferring text files to windows server using unix script, in binary mode.
The problem is that that the data is being transferred in blocks,each time beginning transfer from a new line.That is, after say transferring 25KB data it transfers next 25KB data from a new line. What happens as a result is that records
after particular amount of data is broken and remaining data transfer begins from new line.
The file size is around 25 MB.There is no such problem while transferring file of size 10 KB.
We are uploading the data from text file on windows server into MSAccess.
And error occurs during this process.

If you want to transfer file between different SAP servers then you can use the function module EPS_FTP_PUT. You need to have a RFC destination (with sufficient authorizations for the RFC user). The meaning of the importing parameters of the function module are quite obvious. Of course, SAP offers us more than this function module:
- EPS_FTP_GET
- EPS_FTP_MPUT
- EPS_FTP_MGET

I can't open a Numbers 08 file in Numbers 3.2. Why is that?

I restored an old Numbers 08 file from my backup disk but I can't open it with the new version 3.2.2
I keep getting a message that says:
"This spreadsheet can’t be opened because it’s too old.
To open it, save it with Numbers ’09 first."
I only have the new version of Numbers (3.2.2) and my old mac is gone (the one with which I created the document), so I can't save it with Numbers '09 as I am asked to do.
Does any one knows how to work around this problem?

If you have AppleCare on your new computer, call them and ask for help. They may send you an iWork '09 disk to use as a bridge. Or you can purchase one on Amazon, for less than $30 last time I looked. In either case, run Software Update immediately after installing the disk to get the version that runs with your new OS.
if you don't want to or can't do any of that, you are welcome to send the file to me and I'll send it back to you in Version 2 or Version 3 format, or both if you wish.

10.5.3 is at least part of the problem. You need to apply the latest updates to that mac.
