Frame Crashes on Save Book After Performing Document Numbering Update

Frame 10 crashes every time when saving book after performing a Format\Document\Numbering update. All of sudden when performing a document "Update" Frame starting generating errors for specific documents in the book. Numbering in docuement does not match numbering for book. So I select those documents generating the error and then do a Format\Document\Numbering and just hit the set button. Then try to save the book and it crashes every time. It crashes for Format\Document\Numbering one document or all of them.

In Frame 7.1/Unix, it is commonly the case that an unrelated crash corrupts the Book's settings for Numbering, although it appears that nothing has changed. It is, of course, a nuisance to reset all the dialogs.
So what I do instead, and which you might try, is to set all of the book number dialogs (all six panes, for each component file) to "Read from File". That seems to be stable and survives crashes. It may or may not fix your problem.

Yes, it's possible it could be the RAM. To test that theory out, pull 1 stick out. This will leave you with 2GB RAM. Try to install Lion as you were. If you still get the panic, then swap RAM sticks. Try again. If you are still getting panics, then it is likely something else, unless both of your RAM sticks are bad, which is unlikely but possible i suppose.

Numbers documents will not open it says "will not open during numbers update"

My numbers documents will not open. I keep getting a message telling me my documents will not open while numbers is updating. I have the latest numbers update already downloaded.

open the application "Launchpad":
then click, and hold, on the icon for "Numbers", once the icons start to shake, click the "X" in the top left to remove. Now click anywhere on the desktop to exit this remove/adjust mode.
Open the App Store (menu item " > App Store…")

I'm not sure if this answers your question. I will update them in iTunes. Then I will connect my phone and in the phone controls I can click the "Update" button and it will change to "Will Update" but doesn't.
That's part of the problem. Once upon a time, iTunes would just automatically update apps from the computer to the phone and now it apparently requires prompting that doesn't work.

Numbers update won't install

Recent numbers update did not install
The version which was supposed to install is 3.5.2 and on the app store it indicates a successful install but when I open numbers and check the version it is version 3.2 - how can I fix this

Thanks Ian but had tried that. The only way to solve the problem was to copy Numbers (and Pages - same issue) from my MB Pro which had successful updates, to my iMac which had incomplete updates. Worked great but am still concerned why it wouldn't complete update in the first place, even though App store acknowledged successful completion - Gordon

When you upgraded Numbers to the most recent version, the Mac App Store kept the old version in case you need it in the future. Your problem is that you are opening the old version by mistake instead of the new one.
To fix this, open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and drag the new Numbers version (the one with the new icon) to the Dock. By doing this, you can access to the new Numbers version easily, so you will not open the old version by mistake anymore. Also, I recommend you to open the documents after opening Numbers. The same applies for all other iWork applications.

During an update for Numbers an error occurred while I was away from the computer. I then got a message that an error occurred during Numbers update and to go to purchases to correct. When I selected "Check for Unfinished Downloads" on the store pulldown menu it produced message "All purchases have been downloaded", the "paused" on Keynote line disappeared, and the "Resume" changed to "Installed."
I installed Mavericks update 10.9.3 on May 30, 2014, and 10.9.4 on July 8, 2014, with no error messages, just "Installation completed." The last previous updates of the 3 apps was May 13,2014, also with no error notice. Everything seems to be working as far as I know, so do you think I need to do anything?

You should have both versions. After the update, the old versions are moved to an iWork '09 folder in the Applications folder.
The new versions are completely rewritten and are missing some features. I imagine that is why the kept the old versions arround. It is much like iMovie, Final Cut X, etc.
They have been slowly adding features as they go.

Latest ipad / numbers update breaks formulas when sorting...

I have created a workboook that summarizes onto a report page using an if then statement. I then sort the report by descending to remove any blank fields. Since the ipad / numbers update last week this no longer works. Now when sorting the formulas break. Any ideas??

Formulas often break when a sort is done. What happens and whether it breaks anything depends on the formulas used.
If you want to avoid the troubles, only use formulas that employ Indirect, Index or Offset addressing. All standard relative references will try to follow the sorted data and end up in a mess.
Another way around this is to set aside the formula for the first row of data, as text. Delete the formulas. Do the Sort. Add the formulas back in, starting with the one you set aside as text.

In the new numbers update, my cells won't auto fill anymore with what I had previously typed. Is there away to get that back? I used that everyday.

Apple now calls that "auto-complete text in cells". It's not in Numbers 3.0 but according to this support document will be brought back in one of the releases over the next six months.
Meanwhile ...
If you frequently enter repeating values in a column you could consider formating the cells as Pop-Up Menu:
If you've selected the whole column before formatting as Pop-Up Menu, your existing values in that column will pre-populate a menu automatically:
Then you remove the values you don't want in the menu, such as the column header (and quite possibly some previous spelling and capitalization inconsistencies too!):
And after this easy one-time setup all you have to do thereafter is to choose from the pop-up list for that column whenever you add rows:
That's all there is to it!
There's no keyboard shortcut to activate the menu such as they had in the old Numbers (I hope they'll add one) but the Pop-Up Menu approach has some advantages over autocompletion: no spelling inconsistencies or lack of capitalization when there should be capitalization, etc.

Bank Routing Numbers updates into SAP R/3

Hi,
We have been downloadin FedACH directory from the web site https://www.fededirectory.frb.org/download.cfm and uploading every month into SAP using Batch Job (T-code BAUP). However, now for two- three vendors we also need to update Bank Master (Key) data for 2-3 Routing numbers manually which are present in FedWire directory on this website.
I tried to upload both the files using the same program RFBVALL_0 (BAUP) but the problem is that when i update 2nd file be it either Fedwire or FedACH, the updates done by the first file is either deleted or changed.
I am not sure how to update both the files in SAP R/3. Is there any seperate program to upload the FedWire & FedACH routing number ?
Can any one suggest on this.

data transfer from SAP to an external system is very simple using IDOCs,
YOu must configure the sap system in such a way that it triggers an IDOC that would go to the XI system, whenever a business document like a PO or a SO is created. In XI, you can recieve the idoc in xml format, which can be mapped to the structure and format that is acceptable to the oracle database(You have to use a JDBC adapter).
