Numbers v2.2 won't open on machine OSX 10.7.5

Hello, I have iWork 09 (Numbers v2.2, Pages 4.2, Keynote v5.2,iWeb v3.0.1) on my MacMini (2011) OSX 10.7.5 and ONLY iWeb will open, the others say they may not be compatible with my OS although iWork 09 says its compatible with OSC 10.7.4 and above?

    Numbers, having worked for years, has stopped opening a saved document.  My backup will open, but any change, or even just a save, creates a "filename' can't be opened' dialogue box.  I've deleted the old iWork folder, Numbers Preference files and Reset Permissions, all to no effect…  Any help greatly received, it is my business accounts we're talking here…

    OK, Numbers 3.5.2 is doing the same thing, save an unchanged document and then it won't re-open…  I found a fix, export as a Numbers 9 version, then re-open and save as latest version.  Seems to be robust…

    The first thing to try is to see if this does the same thing in a new user. Also if you downloaded the apps from the Mac App Store, you can delete the apps and then download them again. Check out the articles for more detailed information on how to resolve the issue

  • Pages, Numbers and Keynote won't open

    Trying to use Pages - latest version - on my Mac, but it won't open. Neither will Numbers or Keynote.
    Tried to reinstall, but the computer said no go.

    Applications that can store documents in iCloud include Preview, TextEdit, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, GarageBand, and some third-party software such as "DayOne," "iA Writer," "MindNode," and perhaps others. If some or all of those applications are suddenly not working well, there may be a problem with iCloud synchronization.
    Back up all data.
    Open the iCloud preference pane in System Preferences and uncheck the box marked Documents & Data. See whether there's any improvement. If there is, continue.
    Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
    from the Finder menu bar. From the folder that opens, move this folder to the Desktop:
    Mobile Documents (or any other item with a name beginning that way)
    and move this folder to the Trash:
    Application Support/Ubiquity
    Re-enable Documents & Data, log out, log back in, and test. The folders should be recreated automatically. If the issue is resolved, delete the folder you moved to the Desktop.
    If you continue to have the same problems, I suggest you contact iCloud Support.

  • Mac app store won't open in mavericks OSX

    I had a power outage and it seems that since then, my OSX Mavericks on my iMAC won't open so I can't update my OS to Yosemite.  Can anybody help??  I have tried running permissions check and repair and still no luck.  I even did the safe mode bit and tried to run the upgrade or do the disk permissions and still no luck.  I don't have time machine so I can't restore.

    If you haven't done so already, make a backup. Then, boot into your recovery volume and repair your startup disk. Don't attempt to update until your Mac exhibits zero problems.

    According to multiple reports on this site, Apple Support has given the following instructions to others who had a similar problem. I can't confirm that this procedure works or that it's necessary, but it won't leave you any worse off than you are now.
    First, back up all data.
    Select the iTunes icon in the Applications folder and open the Info window. Click the padlock icon in the lower right corner to unlock the settings.
    In the Sharing & Permissions section, change the Privilege setting for each Name in the list to Read & Write. Close the window. If the settings aren't visible, click the disclosure triangle on the left so that it points down.
    You should now be able to drag the iTunes application to the Trash and empty. Your iTunes data won't be affected.
    Click the iTunes link at the top of this page, download the installer package and run it.
    If iTunes still doesn't launch, or if you can't complete the procedure, reinstall the OS.

  • Numbers 09 files won't open!!

    I recently updated Numbers 09 on my iMac and today discovered that I can't open any of my old Numbers files. I get an error message saying the file is invalid and that the index.xml file is missing.

    Make sure you are using the Numbers Version you think you are. Once documents are opened by Numbers 3, you can't use Numbers 2 to open them, but they will open just fine with Numbers 3.

    This is a problem with Pages 5.1 and Numbers on Mac as well.
    I have tried direct fixes for several users with the problem, but haven't got very far.
    If you are experiencing this problem, I suspect it is a problem across the suite.

  • My NEF-files won't open with CS6 (osx 10.9.5) anymore...

    In earlier days it was posiible to open my NEF-files (Nikon d300) with PS. It is not posiible anymore. Any suggestions?

  • ITunes won't open on Mac OSX 10.10

    I have a new Mac and had never tried to open iTunes until I received an audio file from my son via email.  I was given the option to open it with iTunes but nothing happened when I selected that option.  Then I went to the dock and clicked on the iTunes icon and it did not bounce as the other app icons do when selected.  In the applications folder I clicked on iTunes and still nothing happened.  Any ideas?

    It sounds like there may be an issue with a 3rd-party add-on, which is preventing iTunes from opening on your Mac. Try launching iTunes in Safe Mode, as shown in the article linked below.

  • AE CS6 and CC won't open after mac osx update?

    I just downloaded the latest mac os X update and now my After Effects CS6 and CC software will not open.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but that didn't help.  I get an alert message and it quits on startup.
    Please help!!

  • Iphoto won't open after downloading OSX 10.9.4

    Dowloaded OSX 10.9.4 yesterday and now I can't access all my photos in IPhoto. Help!!!!

    It just finished and I now have to update the library. It looks like it is going to work. Thanks so much for getting back to me quickly! I was very worried that I may lose my gazillions of pictures. I'm not that computer savvy most times. Thanks again!

    I have the same question.  Why doesnt Adobe do anything to update their 5.5 Captivate software so it continues to work with the most recent OS update?   What about offering a discount to 5.5 license owners so they could update to version 7 at a reduced cost?  I don't see any communication from Adobe about the problem or a solution.

    I have that same scanner up in the attic. Worked fine in 10.4, have not used it since I got a newer Mac.
    Agfa really stepped up in delivering usable software and drivers in the early days of OS X, but shortly therefter stopped selling scanners to the consumer market. To their credit, you can still get the software here:

    You might try deleting (or archiving) your Agfa preferences reinstalling the software.
