Numerous updates to Keynote, Speaker, and Numbers?
I've received numerous software update notifications for iWork (Keynote, Speaker, Numbers) over the past two months, and four within the past 30 days. I update the software, but the notifications continue to return. Anyone else having this issue? The function of the software doesn't appear to be affected, but the updates keep coming for the same versions:
Keynote version 6.0.1
Pages version 5.0.1
Numbers version 3.0.1
I've restarted after the updates, but to no avail. This isn't a big deal and I can ignore the updates, but just wondering why this continues to happen.
Any suggestions?

Try the basics - dump the preferences, verify and repair disk, restart.

You can't merge accounts or transfer iTunes purchases from one Apple ID to another: but there is no problem about using two IDs.
Use your iCloud ID for iCloud for syncing email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and PhotoStream.
Use your other Apple ID as before for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match.
There's no conflict about doing this, and you won't even notice as Keychain will log you in with the correct ID in each case. It's also better security not to have your iTunes login also your email address, given the number of complaints about hacked iTunes accounts. -

You don't need a serial number. The problem you're having is due to having the iWork trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -
I still have an iPad 1, and need to update to iOS 7 to use Keynote, Pages and Numbers but I get the message the my system is updated in iOS 5.1.1 and doent's offer me another update! How can I update it? Or I can't?

Why can't I get Keynotes Pages and Numbers for free after OS Mavericks 10.9.1 Upgrade?
I bought my Macbook Air a few days ago with the OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 update software already installed on my laptop. I'm suppose to get Keynotes, Pages, and Numbers for free under purchases in my app store but unfortunately I haven't seen any of those programs come as a purchase in my store. I've downloaded the OS Mavericks 10.9.1 software three times already and restarted my computer to see if they come in the mac store but nothing happened. I've also applied for the Up to Date program and they said they would contact me in 24 hours but it has been three days and I still haven't got a reply from them.

installed ios5 onto my ipad. it updated and restored all info except that although it reinstalled keynote, pages and numbers, the enclosed documents werent there! what can i do?
Just to further clarify. In Settings the Restrictions are not limiting anything. They are not enabled. When I attenpt to delet any app they all start shaking (like normal with the little cross displayed) but when you select on for deletion the ipad freezes for several minutes then reboots. It is a 64G iPad with 25G free space. I have many apps on it and they all work fine. Just Pages, Keynote, and Numbers that have stopped working. When you start them they go to a grey (pre start up) screen with no buttons. Then after a few minutes the ipad reboots.
Note I'm on 6.1.3 not 6.1.4 !!!!!!!!! -
My App Store is not responding after upgrading to Mavericks and installing free Keynote, Pages and Numbers Apps.
Also I tried to reboot and restart and nothing happens still unresponsive.
Tried to click as many times as I can the App Store and it won't open.

Strange. The photos that don't display in Aperture will still display in iPhoto but when I view the info the file doesn't show resolution information only for those problematic photos
Files sizes are almost all jpeg. Once I reference the file in iPhoto, the master displayed resolution for the photo within finder. The photo's original file also opened in preview and photoshop. -
IWork(Keynote, pages and numbers) doesn't work well about the issue of copy & paste problem
I think so, too. the Keynote 6.5 is not working well on Yosemite (Mac OS X 10.10.1).
In my case, I can't copy & paste from some program(particularly analysis program in my case) to Keynote.
So, when I check coping & pasting the graph or image and so on to Powerpoint and other programs (one of Office is such word and 3rd programs), It works well. However It doesn't work at Keynote, page and numbers.
Also, I tried to do the following process to solve this issue

Something is wrong with your installation of Keynote
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:
1 delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote by using AppDelete.
2 restart the Mac; Apple menu > restart
3 immediately after the start chime, press the shift key until you see the Apple symbol.
let it fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive
4 when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click repair disc permissions
5 when complete, restart the Mac normally
6 install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Keynote 6.5 is stable and reliable under Yosemite for most users.
As with all new operating systems and applications, a small number of users find a few problems.
Copy and pasting text from and into Keynote from all the applications I have, work perfectly: the applications include; Safari, Mail, Word, PowerPoint, excel, Pages, Numbers, iMovie, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
If you want to place graphics into Keynote, use one of the following methods:
Insert > Coose
click the media button on an image placehoder
click the media button on the tool bar
drag and drop from a Finder window
Copy and pasting images into Keynote is not supported -
I've upgrade my Macbook Pro and now the OS X Maverik, but when I purchased Keynote, Pages and Numbers there wasn’t an App Store available yet. I still have the old CD with the software in it.

I have the the 09 suite alreday installed, and I didn't loose them with Maveriks upgrade.
Pages version 4.3, Keynote 5.3 and Numbers 2.3
Numbers was the only one notifying me that there was an upgrade available. -

TS3991 i can go to icloud, but keynote, pages, and numbers are not there
I have an icloud account, but cannot access pages, keynote, or numbers.
I am having the same issue for browser based iCloud access. (Macbook, iPad and iPhone programs are fine). The new beta is awful via browser. In Chrome no files are available, and in Firefox all formatting is lost when copying and pasting into Word or some other program.
This is on a Vista Business machine. I have not tried the Safari browser, but will do so. -

How do I download these apps for free in my iPad air that I bought for second hand. And I have registered it under my Apple ID. I think I'm eligible for it. Could anyone explain to me in detail. Thank you
You can only use the original Apple ID that was used to activate the iPad to download the free apps.

You will have to erase the HDD and reinstall the original OSX. This will allow you to create your own Apple ID via the registration process. Follow these guidelines:

Where did my bullets go in Keynote? And why am I missing files?
I've been working on a Keynote presentation that will be exported as a PDF eBook. I opened it up today and I get error messages saying that I have missing files and my square "checkmark-less" bullets have disappeared. (See image below)
I'm using the Black Checkmark Bullets. The checkmark bullets are ok. Its checkmarkless cousin isn't listed in the inspector window when I try to update it manually. I'm also getting a lot of error messages.
This is the first time I've expereinced this problem. Running 10.7.3 on a MBPro (2.66 i7 w/4GB RAM), Keynote 5.1.1).

Used AppCleaner to unstaill Keynote, Pages and Numbers. Reinstalled iWork from disk and ran updates. Issue resolved itself after this.
