Nutzung von Keynote Remote App. Für Steuerung der iPad-Präsentation

Ich nutze die App. Keynote Remote für die Steuerung meiner Keynote-Präsentation vom iPhone aus auf dem iPad.
Leider gibt es zwei Mankos:
- die Präsentation lässt sich nicht zur Unterbrechung schwarz schalten
- wenn ich in der App. Durch wischen die Folie wechsle, dann wechselt die ganze Folie auf einmal,d.h., dass integrierte Animationen ( z.b. Texte kommen nacheinander ins Bild) funktioniert.
Wer hat hier vielleicht einen guten Tipp und kann mir helfen.

I had been using the Keynote Remote app to control my presentations, but it stopped working. I uninstalled it and looked on the App store to reinstall it, but can't find it.

The Remote App has been discontinued. Its functions have been incorporated into Keynote for iOS.

Keynote remote app has stopped working over Bluetooth

I've been using the keynote remote app on my iPod touch to control presentations in my classroom for weeks. Then a couple days ago, I could no longer link to keynote over Bluetooth. I've tried everything; even reset my iPod.
I can link to my Macbook from my iPod over bluetooth fine, but when I try to actually link to it in Keynote, I get nothing. Connecting over Wifi isn't a good option.

Found the problem. The iPad was connecting to my guest network rather than my main network as it is supposed to.

I downloaded the Keynote remote app but cannot link to Keynote. When I go to preferences under Keynote on my mac I don't see Remote as an option. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

The bit about the Firewall was where I initially had the trouble. It now works as described.

To an extent yes. You can't control the master volume, but tou can turn the volume up and down, up to the maximum set manually on your computer.

HT1947 After updating My Apple TV to 5.1 I can browse music library using the Remote app on my iPhone and iPad but cannot select a song to play. Is someone else having the same problem?

I think I found the reason. On my iMac that is hosting the music library a song already was playing. This seems to block out me from selecting another song though my Apple TV.

Keynote remote app no longer working with keynote for ipad

noticed after upgrading that the keynote remote does not pair with keynote for the ipad. Any suggestion on a resolution or anyone else experiencing this issue?

I didn't realize until I went to a class to lecture in front of a couple hundred students that what worked on Friday no longer worked on Monday. (I upgraded to iOS 5 over the weekend.) My iPad with lecture slides was plugged in 25 feet away. I finally recruited a student to tap the iPad screen when I needed the next slide. A nightmare. What is usually slick and seamless was a wreck.
Here's my deal. My remote app works fine at home where my iPod Touch and iPad are on the same wifi network. At school they're on different networks for some reason. Bluetooth doesn't work anywhere. So Apple needs to find this bug and fix it. I can't believe whoever is responsible for this didn't test this out before they released iOS 5. Sheesh.

Keynote Remote Doesn't work with iPhone, iPad

Hi,
I have the latest versions of Keynote on my iPhone 5S, iPad 4 and MacBook Pro 13" with Retina Display.
All three devices on the same WiFi network. Using WiFi I was able to remotely control/play the presetatnion between iPhone 5S and MacBook.
However, it doesn't work between iPhone 5S and iPad 4. Any help ?
I tried Bluetooth as well. They seem to not discover each other and neither able to remote control.
Any tips ?

After having to upgrade to the latest version of iOS Keynote (because I edited one of my presentations online through iCloud), I received the message that Keynote Remote is to be discontinued. The alternative they offer is to download Keynote onto your iPhone as they have integrated the remote feature into the full program.
The problem that I found is that space is more of a premium on my iPhone than my iPad and I don't use the full program on the iPhone, as the remote app takes only 3MB and the full app? 444MB.
I hope Apple receive similar complaints about this as nearly half a Gig for what will amount to a remote for Keynote is preposterous. I have already purchased my 16GB 5S, it's not as if I can put more memory in it now.

Can no longer use the Remote app on iPhone 5 or iPad 1

Hi,
I've long used the Remote app to control my iTunes library which I stream through two Airport Expresses. It's been a great solution for some time.
However, since the latest updates, I can no longer do this. The iTunes library does not show up in the app, only a message telling me to turn on Home Sharing in iTunes.
I have turned Sharing off and on on the iPhone, iPad and iTunes but have had no luck getting it to work.
Any suggestions welcome!

Remote app doesn't work with ipad 2 and ios 7.0.3

Hi to everyone!
I have a problem with the remote app and my ipad 2 using ios 7.0.3
If I try to add a song to "next songs" the app crashes. But it works fine on the iphone 5 with ios 7.0.3
What could be the solution to solve this problem?

Will this work if I install the codecs to play these with quicktime? Or do I need to manually convert my videos to .mov to stream them?
I don't have these actual products to test so I can't try to figure it out myself but if anyone has come across this I would love to know the answer. Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
When using the remote app on the iPad/iPhone etc, the content is streamed from iTunes to the Apple TV, it is played by the Apple TV not by iTunes, therefore installing Quicktime components on your mac/pc will not help the Apple TV decode an unsupported stream.

I've been waiting litterly years for an update and I'm very eager to find out if they have an update in the pipes....

have an updated app thats more than a glorified arrow key.
Actually that is all it was designed to be, an iOS version of a hardware remote control; forward, back, and blank.
I use Rowmote, it controls Keynote perfectly and adjusts sound, remote keyboard, appliation switching and can be set up to control many other applications.

IPhone 5 with Keynote remote App will not work via Bluetooth.

So what's the point of buying & using Keynote if I can't use the App sold by Apple to control the presentation on my laptop via Bluetooth? I wasted nearly a half hour trying to configure this to work only to find that apparently Bluetooth on the iPhone 5 (and 4) won't connect to a laptop? ***?
Seriously useless and incredibly frustrating. Shame Apple, shame.

Add to that the fact that the computer and phone go through the excercise of exchanging a code... The computer says "You're connected" and then the Phone just keeps searching. Inexcusable.

Noticed keynote remote will not pair after updating. Bluetooth light flashes a couple of times then goes off. I'm wondering if it's a bluetooth issue or a keynote remote app issue.

I've tried all the things recommended in the Apple KB article, and it doesn't work. Mulderscully is right, in the recent iOS 5 upgrade, Bluetooth is not turned on (at least, its symbol is not visible) from within Keynote even if you turned it on in the Settings menu. Posts in another thread recommended using another app to establish a Bluetooth connection between the iPad and iPod (I used Touch Rummy), then switching back to Keynote and Keynote Remote. This does work for me, but it is an awkward workaround. Shouldn't 'It just work'?

New Keynote (6.0.1) can't link to Keynote Remote iOS app

I have a problem connecting Keynote for Mac (newest version- 6.0.1) to the Keynote Remote app on my iPhone 5.
It seems like the problem is on the Mac software's side and not the other way around, since the Remote app gives me a passcode for connecting, but the software on the Mac doesn't respond when I click Preferences > Remote > Enable iPhone and iPod Touch remotes.
Actually, it worked in the past, using the older version of Keynote (2009) ,and ever since there's a record of my iPhone on the list.
The problem is that I can't delete it and make Keynote on my mac detect my iPhone all over again.
Please advise if you know how to solve this.

BTW - I tried restarting the apps (on both my Mac and my iPhone) and I even deleted the Remote app and re-installed it, but it didn't help so far.

Keynote 6 does not support Keynote remote.
You can use version 5 but you must delete version 6 to enable 5 to work again with the remote app.
