Hi @v95 ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue with your HP 15-r022tx Notebook and issues with the graphics card. I would do a system restore.
Once that has completed I would just go to the Device manager right click on the drivers for the graphics card and update the driver.
If this does not resolve your issue please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link to get the support number for your region. They will be happy to assist you immediately.

  • How can I make my flash Webpage displayed same size on any screen resolution?

    Hi,
How can I make my flash Webpage displayed same size on any screen resolution of my computer? Whether it is 1024 X 768 or 1280 X 960 screen resolution, the size of Webpage (Flash Webpage) should always be same so that user don't need to use horizantal scroll bar to view all the content.
And secondly, how can I scroll my webpage vertical on moving with my mouse like in the following link: The below link also shows that it's webpage size is always same on any screen resolution.

  • Object-level display settings not working in CS5

I can't change display settings at an object level in an InDesign document, if I want to change display settings it will only work at the document level. If I try to change at object-level nothing happens. This is on a high-spec Windows 7 64bit with Nvidia GeForce 470, with up-to-date software & drivers, running InDesign 7.0.2.

Since I can't reproduce the problem here, at least so far in limited testing, I don't know where to point you or what might be affecting the frames in question. Can you copy a few of these frames onto a new page, verify that the problem still exists, then zip the page (you can delete the images, just leave the frames), and post it on a server someplace like YouSendIt.com, then post a link here?
It might not be something that you can fix except by replacing the frames. If that's the case, it might be possible to script the replacement.
Oh, I just thought of one other test. Have you tried cutting the image itself, using the direct select tool, and pasting into a new frame? that also will help isolate the problem as the frame.

  • Safe mode display settings not 'sticking' after restart?

    Hi
I used a display setting not supported by my Mac mini and consequently had a 'out of signal' error on my monitor and restarted in safe mode, logged in and altered the settings.
When I restart the display settings do not 'stick' and I get the same error. How do I get the settings to stick? Have tried logging in as administrator and user with no joy!
    Thanks Nigel

Hmm. Maybe that combination of changing resolution in Safe mode and resetting PRAM have a combined effect of some kind? Worth remembering for the future. Thanks for posting.

  • Folder Display Settings Not Saving

Searched forums with no luck, anyone run into this problem?
I have a user who likes to set up folders in his GroupWise 2012 client (on Windows XP) to show To and From columns as the first two columns in his folder view. When he changes a folder and saves the changes in the Properties/Display/Custom Settings, everything looks fine. The next day when he gets into his client and goes to the folder he changed, the changes (adding the To/From columns) are gone. The really strange thing is they are only gone "most of the time", at other times the changes stick and do not have to be redone. User has found nothing consistent about why changes are sometimes forgotten and other times remembered.
    Thanks ahead for any ideas.

When saving the changes, instead of taking the default name of <Folder
Custom Settings> try changing the name to something like <Folder Custom
    Settings2>. While I haven't seen this with the 2012 client, I have
seen it with GW8 and earlier and usually saving the display settings
with a different name would get the changes to "stick."
Also if this is just the 2012 client and not 2012 SP1, you could try
    upgrading to the SP1 client.

  • 6303i - display settings not saved!

Hello - I have updated my 6303i to the latest firmware from the nokia site.
Everything works fine but now any chance I make to my display settings (e.g. wallpaper) are not saved, i.e. the change is being populated until the next reboot of the device. Once I rebooted the device, all my display settings changes are lost and e.g. I am back with a device with no wallpaper.
Any idea what is going on?
    thanks

The problem came back a while after installing 10.10.2.
However, it does seem to have been fixed by 10.10.3.  Hooray.

  • Hide Display Settings not applied in User GPO

    Hello,
I am trying to hide the display settings via a GPO so folks can't change the resolution. I set the "Disable the Display Control Panel" setting to enable, but users can still go to the Control Panel and change the display settings. Other parts of
the GPO are applying, like the Ctrl+Alt+Del settings. The GPO has the loopback function set to replace. From my understanding, that should force all user settings in that GPO on everyone who logs into the computer, whether they are in that OU or not.
Some settings apply, just not the Display settings. Is there something else I have to enable to get that working?
    Thanks

It's been a while. How is it going? If it still doesn't work out, we can run command

  • Display settings not saving

I have just bought a Touchsmart 14-n055sa and I'm having problems with linking my laptop to my tv using the HDMI lead. When I choose the "duplicate" option in display settings, I get a message saying that it is unable to save my settings. I have contacted Microsoft who have told me that I need to download some drivers, but I'm not sure which drivers to download. Anyone got any ideas??

  • External display, image not filling entire screen.

I just bought a tv to use as a external monitor for my mac however when i boot into windows 7 the resolution (1080p) is fine but its not filling the screen completely, there is 1 inch of black on the top and bottom and about 1.5 inches of black on the left and right sides. it does not do this when i am booted into osx.
i think this could be because of how hdtv's are made and the resolution isn't exact (usually a little bit greater) so windows isn't "stretching" the image to fill the screen. i think osx does it automatically but windows doesn't. if this is the problem how do i get windows to stretch the image? i tried switching the screen mode on my tv's remote but that didn't work.
thanks for the help everybody and merry christmas!

exactly the same for me. fulla hd tv, no problem tv/mac ->full screen; but with bootcamp/win7 no way, even with the new 9.12 Ati driver...

  • Civ3 not on full screen resolution

    Hello here,
not too sure if this is the right place to ask, but I dont seem to find a solution o my problem.
When trying to play Civ3 1.21g on my MB Pro with 1440x900, the game does not use all of the available screen resolution - how can I change this to play on full screen?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks a lot,
    Lorenz

That is strange. I'd first try resetting the PRAM (Hold option-command-P-R keys down during startup until you hear the chime at least three times). A PRAM reset often fixes little startup bugs.
Although irrelevant to the issue, also repair permissions (never a bad idea) with disk utility. Onyx is also great for this and other maintenance tasks.
    cheers

    Hello again,
I purchased a new Monitor and also purchase the DVI to VGA adapter from the apple store. Now i would like to use 1 monitor and have 2 machines hooked up on a KVM switch. I'm starting to think my the card is some how been damaged
    I am inclined to agree.
You will need to look on eBay for a Mac compatible graphics card.
Retail sites that have Mac compatible cards are few, and they are scary expensive.
Besides, no one makes new cards any more. All OEM cards are used.
Here's how G5 options stack up:
    http://www.jcsenterprises.com/Japamacs_Page/Blog/4B4B7BA2-7ABB-47F1-87AC-B03D379 42BEE.html
On eBay, the same Apple OEM 9600 runs about $150.
Mac compatible Radeon 9800 Pro cards run from $100.
An OEM Geforce 6800 GT or Ultra is over $200.

  • Snow Leopard: Display settings not working anymore. DO NOT LOCALIZE

    Hello,
the following message was posted in the MacBook Pro Display forums and i was suggested to write it here:
I purchased a MacBox Set and upgraded from Tiger on a MacBook Pro 15" (2007). I did a clean install. That was two weeks ago.
Today i went into System Preferences>Displays (not my first time there) and a window oppened by itself saying that the display setting was about to be changed and maybe certain software would not be showed properly in a resolution below 800X600 (sorry, that's my translation. I use a Spanish SO).
After that, the resolution changed to 640X480 and the Display panel became useless. It's impossible to set any other resolution and on the refresh settins apears that message: <<do not localize>>. Under the Resolutions Field appears <<<DO NOT LOCALIZE>>> as well.
    I tryed:
    * Repair disk Permissions
    * Reset PRAM
    * Reset PMU
    * I did a hardware test (the long one). No problems found.
I was not able to use the system disks (the ones that came with my computer) because the image on the screen appears completly distorted and i am not able to navigate through the menus. I was able to use Hardware Test because the buttons where showed in the middle of the screen.
I tryed to use the Snow Leopard DVD, but the part of the welcome window in wich the buttons are was out of the screen and i had no chance to click on them.
I have temporarily fixed that using a ten days trial version of SwitchRes X. Everything works fine now, but the Display preferences panel from MacOs stays "in coma". So i guess it's not a hardware problem, but a Snow Leopard Problem. If in ten days i don't find a fix for that, i'm gonna be forced to buy the program, a really good software, i have to say, but a software i shoulnd't need.
After been able to recover my original resolution via SwitchRes X, I checked the disk and it was ok. I repaired it anyway. Back to my desktop, i checked the permisions and everything was fine except for this message:
"Advertencia: el archivo SUID “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgen t” se ha modificado y no se reparará."
I got this message since the first time i checked permissions and its well know by other users. It is supposed to be normal.
    Anyway, it didn't worked.
    I'll appreciate any help. Thanks!

"I was not able to use the system disks 'cos the image on the screen appears completly distorted and i am not able to navigate the menus."
Never ran across that type of problem on Apple's message boards.
"I have temporarily fixed that using a ten days trial version of SwitchRes X. Everything works fine now but the Display preferences panel from MacOs, wich stays "in coma"."
In that case, are you now able to boot off your install DVD? If so, run the +"repair disk"+ option, when done boot back to desktop & run repair permissions.
"So i guess it's not a hardware problem, but a Snow Leopard Problem."

  • Chose wrong display settings, resulting in blue screen. Now what...

I just purchased a new Mac Mini and connected it to my LCD TV with an HDMI cable. Everything was working fine untill I switched the display setting from 1080i to 1080p (or vice versa, I'm not sure) which resulted in a blue screen. Now I can no longer see my desktop, how do I fix this ?
Nevermind. I just found the solution in another topic. Starting the Mac in safe mode solved my issue.

    Hi,
I've also had the same problem you've mentioned and had it kind-of resolved.
I had the horizontal grey area on my screen which got worse over time. I had it sent away to Apple to be repaired and it came back pretty much the same as they couldn't find anything diagnostically wrong with it. I then went to the Genius bar and, fortunately, they recognised that there was a grey banding and replaced the LCD panel.
This did get rid of the grey banding, although brought a whole new set of problems.
Don't put up with the genius staff trying to baffle you or make you feel like you are being silly for complaining - the iMac is not a cheap machine and you have the right to make sure it is fit for purpose. A grey/uneven screen is not fit for purpose.
Ask them to replace your LCD panel and glass, but inspect it when you collect it to make sure it is an even brightness and colour. My replacements have been brighter on the left hand side than the rest of the screen or had a blue tint on the left or a yellow tint on the right. If you don't like it, don't accept it - as I have been told repeatedly by Applecare and the genius bar 'all the lcd panels are different you have to find one you like' i.e. put up with!
Eventually the cost of the replacement panels will mount up and they will offer a replacement. It has taken me almost a year to get my replacement. Just keep on at them until it is resolved.
Also, on your first pic there is a rectangular mark - this could be screen persistance and can be easily removed by using a white screensaver for a few hours. I found mine did it when i had the brightness on full (to compensate for the greyness!).
Hope this has helped, good luck!
