Nvidia 45.23 drivers need help

the 45.23 drivers cut the monitor power once after logon ( that means the monitor sceen gos black then comes back )
I know it is the power being cut, cuz the monitor power light flashes when it happens.
The 44.03 drivers don't do this.
has this happend to you? if so how did you fix it?
I when back to the old drivers and this problem went away

Well you not on your own, i haven't had your problem but I do know that OpenGL games (i.e. MOH) when fog is displayed some strange happens...... this was fine on my previous 44.03 drivers..... things of gone MAD!!

Hi Hannah, welcome to the forums,
    you can find the drivers on the following site;
    http://support.lenovo.com/en_GB/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-77167
You could maybe save yourself some effort by installing the LAN or wireless LAN driver, (yours is Intel abg), connect to the internet and then install SystemUpdate which should get all the rest of the drivers you need.

  • MSI K8T Neo2 FIR, need help installing drivers

    Hi there,
I need help with installing drivers. Here’s my setup:
    CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+
    Mainbord: MSI K8T Neo2 FIR (VIA K8T800Pro)
OS:  Windows XP Professional, SP2 installed
    ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
I updated per MSI Live Monitor, but when I run ‘dxdiag’, I says I have to update the ‘VIA standard host bridge’. I don’t know what this is or where it can be found. It could be I saved the updated drivers in the wrong file (F:\ Program Files\...) where F is my primary harddisk and the drivers should be saved in F:\Windows\ System 32.
Also, my hardware setup tells me there are two videocards 'installed': a Radeon 9600  Pro and a radeon 9600 Pro (secundary). Do I need to de-install the secundary one?
Here’s a piece of my most recent dxdiag:

Help would be very much appriciated, thnx!

The two vis.cards issue is normal, it sees the primary output (VGA) as a device and the TV-out a separate device.
Go to device manager to see if there's any device on ur rig that doesn't have drivers.
Did u install the 4-in1 drivers, get the latest version from the MSI support site.
    good luck.

  • I need help updating the graphic drivers for my laptop.

Recently purchasd a new game and I am having some issues with the graphics. Every post I have read suggests it is an issue between HP and amd. I keep trying and seem to be going backwards. I would love to actually talk to someone from hp but they haven their number very well. I have tried every combination between hp and amd and I am obviously missing something. I dont have much hair left to pull out.

Hi there ,  Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome! This is a great site to get answers and ask questions.  I read your post on the HP Support Forums and you had mentioned that you are looking for help Updating the Graphics Drivers on your HP Pavilion dv7t-6c00 CTO Notebook PC.  I have the actual drivers page for your specific HP Pavilion dv7t-6c00 CTO. It has the AMD Graphic Driver on this page. You could also update the drivers a couple other ways.  1. Using the HP Support Assistant2. Going into the Device Manager, Right click on the AMD Graphic and doing an update.  You had also mentioned that you wanted to actually talk to someone from HP. Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Case number and phone number appear.
They will be happy to assist you immediately. Let me know how everything goes.  Have a great day!

i need help guys mi karaoke videos aren't playing anymore how can i download some drivers for it ?

Drivers? You need a program to run them such as K-Jams. Then you will need to check your connections from the laptop to the monitor and make sure your settings are correct in System Preferences.
    Good Luck

    Hi Wouz,
I am sorry that the windows 7 drivers are not fully released yet but we have some beta version of drivers. Please check if you can find what you need here. However, it does not cover all of Lenovo products as yet. Lenovo has a large amount of product models to support. Please bear with us and we shall release the drivers soon after the Windows 7 launch in 22nd Oct 2009.
Thank you very much for your patience.
    Best regards,
    Cleo

  • Need help sourcing Lenovo Soleil S620 drivers or restore disk

    Hi all,
I have in front of me an ancient tablet PC from Lenovo known as a "Soleil S620".  I believe it was an Asian-market only product.
    From this webpage (http://www.howah.com.cn/news/en/news_detail.asp?id=50):
"Lenovo Soleil S620 - The world’s first notebook computer with rotatable LCD monitor"
"Soleil S620 is the world’s first notebook computer with an 180o-rotatable 12" TFT-LCD display. The TFT-LCD display has gone through rotation test of over 20,000 times. The product is also the lightest 12" notebook in the market, which is only 17.8mm thick and weighs a mere 1.6kg. Embedded with Intel’s Centrino chip, Soleli S620 is the only notebook of such a light weight that is preinstalled with Bluetooth technology."
It's a cute, lightweight and slow little number, and somewhere along the way someone wiped the drive and installed a non-genuine copy of Windows XP (in Chinese, too).  I'd like to return it to its Windows XP Tablet PC Edition roots if possible.
I'm betting a restore disk is going to be hard to come by, so if I have to just reinstall it with a genuine copy of XP without enabling the tablet transformation and touch screen, etc, that's fine, but sourcing the drivers is going to be difficult.
    Help?  Anyone?  Thanks in advance!

sorry but this is the closest thing i can find and sorry for it is written in chinese

  • Need help on diagnosis of Graphics Issue

    Hello,
I need help to determine if I am experiencing a graphics card issue and what my options are if there are any experts out there I would appreciate some feedback.
    *My system info:*
    Model Name: Mac Pro
    Model Identifier: MacPro2,1
    Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    Processor Speed: 3 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 2
    Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per processor): 8 MB
    Memory: 4 GB
    Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz
Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
    Type: Display
    Bus: PCIe
    Slot: Slot-1
    PCIe Lane Width: x16
    VRAM (Total): 512 MB
    Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
    Device ID: 0x0602
    Revision ID: 0x00a2
    ROM Revision: 3233
*Description of Issue:* When playing 3D video games (i.e. Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age) everything visually is fine for about 20 seconds and then I start to see pixelization (snow), texture anomalies and system freezes where mouse stops moving. It gives time slices occasionally so sometimes I can Alt + tab out of game and close it. Or the entire system just crashes. I think what is going on is some loop that is pegging either the CPU(s) or GPU.
Everything was working fine up until last night. I had been playing the games without issue. I am playing these games on Windows XP and Vista using Boot Camp.
This initially occurred on Windows XP playing Mass Effect 2.
These are the steps I took which essentially tell me it is not a software issue:
    - Tested on another game Dragon Age (same result)
    - Updated to latest Nvidia drivers (same result)
    - Tested on separate Boot Camp Windows Vista with Dragon Age game (same result)
These results lead me to believe I may have a broken graphics card? But I want to be certain before I go out and purchase a new one.
    *My Questions:*
    - Is there some software to verify if my graphics card is shotty?
    - Is re-seating the graphics card or memory worth trying?
    - Cleaning the dust out of my machine?
    - If I need a new graphics card, what are my options? Do I have to purchase it via Apple store? I would like to stick with an Nvidia card so am I stuck buying the same card I currently have or can I upgrade?
If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thank you,
    Leapstepman

Is there some software to verify if my graphics card is shotty?
Techtool Pro has some testing, the AHT tests VRAM, but game benchmarks and stressing will tell you the most.
Is re-seating the graphics card or memory worth trying?
Absolutely. Just don't reinstall the graphics card until you clean it thoroughly.
Cleaning the dust out of my machine?
YES. A dust filled graphics card heatsink will cause the GPU to cook, and cause problems thet you describe.
If I need a new graphics card, what are my options? Do I have to purchase it via Apple store? I would like to stick with an Nvidia card so am I stuck buying the same card I currently have or can I upgrade?
You don't have to buy from Apple, but using with OS X limits your choices to Mac compatible or flashable PC versions.
There is an awful lot of user input into this topic here:

  • Need help with Laptop decision

I am sorry about the length of this post, but I really need help. I am trying to buy a laptop and what should be a really exciting prospect (buying my first laptop) is turning into a nightmare that just about had me in tears over the weekend.
My budget is not big - 600 absolute max, but would prefer to spend a bit less than this.
I do mainly office work (Word, Excel, Databases and PowerPoint) and also some Photoshop work. I also play a strategy game called Caesar 3. I very much want to load my copy of XP on the machine, either replacing Vista or as a partition.
Looking through the models available in my price range and looking up the benchmarks I have found the following:
Most have processors like the Intel T5250 or T5450 or the AMD TL 58, which are all benchmarked as ok, but not great. A few have the AMD TL 60, which is a bit better and one or two have the Intel T7200 which is even better.
On the bulk of the machines the graphics cards are either the ATI Radeon Xpress X1200 or the Intel GMA X3100. Both of these are benchmarked as not great and the review says that they cannot handle strategy games. A few of the models have the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 or HD 2400XT and one or two have the HD 2600.
The problem is that the models that have the better processor have the lower rated graphics card and those that have both don't have XP drivers, as far as I can see.
Don't mind a 15.4'' screen (although the 17.1'' would be very nice to have) and would like a reasonably big hard drive (160 +). I will be getting 2GB of RAM.
I am at my wits end. I don't want to buy a computer that will end up taking a minute or more to refresh a screen when you have more than two things open, or that you have to keep rebooting to get it to work. I want to be able to play my one and only game (Caesar III) which is a strategy game and I want to be able to work in Photoshop and perhaps have one or two other things open at the same time, like a website perhaps.
Please help me, anyone. Am I asking for the impossible? I can't get hold of an email address for Toshiba to try to get clarity from them on the issue of drivers and whether they will be made available in the future.
Then there is of course the retailer issue as each retailer only stocks a limited number of models and one has to choose between those.
I hope someone can help me!!

    Hi
The problem is that you want to buy an all-round notebook but dont want to spend much money.
Additionally you want to change the OS to XP and need the XP drivers.
Well this is very hard decision buddy ;)
A notebook for gaming equipped with the power full graphic card cost a little bit more as 600
So you have to take a decision; Do you want to buy an gaming notebook and spend more as 600 or you will take an notebook which is great for a common usage like DVD watching, working with Office software, etc
The Cesar game is not known to me but I presume it doesnt need a high performance graphic card and it should run on a normal notebook too.
I think a Satellite a200 is not bad choice for you because some A200 notebooks were delivered with the Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor and a NVIDIA GeForce graphic card.
And very important is that all XP drivers were already released ;)

  • Need help fixing video playback on iTunes and worried it will affect iphone

First of all, the black levels when playing videos on iTunes looked terrible.
I looked all over on how to fix this..
So then I installed the lastest nvidia graphics drivers to help with video playback
After install my videos black level was definatly better, I think.
But now all videos play wierdly in the corner of the itunes program..

I need help to fix this and I hope this dont affect playback on iphone 4

If exporting to i4 results in the same, there could be a problem with the movie itself. Try exporting to the i4 and replay the video. However if exporting to i4 plays okay on the phone, it's your Nvidia drivers. You can download the prior Nvidia drivers and downgrade.
There have been dozens of cases where Nvidia drivers even the newest ones have made a mess of games, movie playbacks, even viewing Windows programs.

  • MSI GTX 460 Hawk hangs, need help

    Hello!
Need help with my MSI GTX 460 Hawk.
Sometimes it hangs and I need to restart my computer and sometimes screen goes black and then windows says that video driver wasn't responding and was recovered.
Computer hangs more often in the 3D game, but in not 3D programms computer hangs too, but no so often.
The temperature is ok, maximum is 70 deg. in 3D game. I even tried to set videocard cooller to 100% and it didn't help.
I did no overclocking or anything like this.
I use the latest videodriver from nvidia's website and the latest directx.
    Windows 7 64bit.
Can you help me to solve this problem?

If you are really in lack of parameters:
    Board: Gigabyte GA-EP45T-UD3LR
VGA:  MSI GeForce GTX 460 Twin Frozr II
    PSU: Raidmax 500W (22A on 12v rail)
    Intel Core 2 Duo 8500 3.16GHz LGA 775
    OS: Windows 7 64bit
The problem: Videocard began to hang:
Sometimes it hangs and I need to restart my computer, sometimes I get BSOD and sometimes screen goes black and then windows says that video driver wasn't responding and was recovered.
Computer hangs more often in the 3D game, but in not 3D programms computer hangs too, but no so often.
    What I've allready tried:
    1. Installed latest drivers from nvidia.com and latest directx.
    2. Checked temperature: maximum is 70 deg. in 3D game at 100% load. I even tried to set videocard cooller allways to 100% and it didn't help.
    3. Installed MSI Kombustor to burnin test videocard, but I can't catch any hangups with it.
    4. Checked windows system log. The last warning after driver recovery message is:
Video driver nvlddmkm wasn't responding and was recovered.
    5. Two latest BSODs were caused by dxgkrnl.sys and nvlddmkm.sys drivers.
    6. Finally installed MSI LiveUpdate, it shows that no videodriver is installed and wants to download an old videodriver ver.  258.96.
Need help to solve this problem.

  • Core and memory clocks freeze after gamestream need help

hi everyone need help with this as i dont know whether my card is faulty and msi support keeps giving me an error when i ask a question. when i start gamestream  my core clocks go to 1113.5 and memory gose to 1502.3. when i exit gamestream the clocks stay at these speeds until i reset or remove the device from device manager and re enable it or i can stop the gamestream service in task manager. ive been in touch with nvidia and they cant replicate the error ive tried the card in three different computers using clean installs of both windows 8.1 and windows 7 driving me mad as the card idles at 48c while this is happening i have a msi gtx 970 gaming 4g latest bios everything stock anybody else have this problem. thanks in advance

what video drivers versions you have tried?
if i understood well, after you close gamestream, the VGA keeps its clock to load one and do not reduce the clocks to idle,
    is this correct?
have you wanted longer period of time?
do you use dual/multiple display config or just single display?
