Nvidia in Laptop MSI GT70 card didn't work

Hi I have Laptop MSI GT70
Contains a card /nvidia GeForce GTX 680M /4GB
The problem is that the card whenever preoccupied Crisis 3 game or the big picture in the developed Steam computer screen becomes black and freezes computer I want you to solve the problem you quickly
Knowing I got the last update for the card.

Hello. I'm having the same problem since days and what I've found don't reassure me. (GE70-OND, with Geforce 680M)
So far it looks like it's impossible to use the NVIDIA card, only the intel HD 4000. I've re-installed the NVIDIA drivers multiple times, completely or not, using the lastest drivers or those from the disk and it still doesn't work. Right now I've made wiped all files and make a clean installation but still the Geforce doesn't seem to work.
In particular if I open the NVIDIA pannel and go to the first option, where NVIDIA show a video to see the 3D, it crashes telling me the nvidia drivers has stopped worked and the screen blink black a second, and it does that repeatedly without the video ever working.
I've had crashes for multiple games, such as Darksider. Deus Ex: Human Revolution also allowed to pick which graphic card to use on the setup, there I saw that with Intel HD 4000 I could launch the game. But if I picked Geforce 680M the program suddenly stopped working, just by selecting the card, not even by launching the game.
I'm running out of idea so if anyone has any please help.

Nvidia GTX560M card in Laptop MSI GT70 didn't work

Hi.
I have MSI GT70 0ND
i7-3630QM,nvidia GTX675M, 750GB HDD + 128GB super Raid, 16GB RAM (4*4GB), WIN7 Ultimate.
The original nvidia card GTX675M stopped working.
I installed nvidia card GTX560M (I had at home on MSI GT780), but this card is not working on MSI GT70
The Device Manager is displayed GTX560M, but not working.
Does anyone advise me why?

[SOLVED] MSI GT70 keyboard buttons not working

Hi! I am a normal user of computers that like games, so I bought this awesome notebook MSI GT70 i7 16gb ram GTX 675MX 128ssd+750hdd, with a keyboard by steelseries.
Everything was ok, using the notebook as came when I bought, with OS windows 8, with no format nor modifications by me, using it since January 2013.
The problem is that about 1 or 2 weeks some shortcuts of keyboard arent working anymore:
- Wifi button isn't working and isn't becoming orange when pressed, and Fn+F8 isn't working either;
- Screen shutdown button is becoming orange when pressed but not working;
- Cd-dvd eject button is becoming orange when pressed but not working;
- I tried also Fn+F9 and Fn+F12 shortcuts, and I think they arent working either.
At the same time, the Cooler button and the Backlight's Keyboard button are working correctly. Turbo button maybe is working too but I don't know if something become overclock when I activate it.
I would really appreciate some help, since I love my notebook very much, and I hope it's not a hard problem to solve.

I followed your advice:
1. uninstalled SCM, restarted
2. installed SCM, restarted
3. tried to update .net framework, had it already
4. resat the EC
But unfortunately it did not change my GE60 2OC's behaviour: when i press the back-light button it opens my browser with dragoonarmy/msi.com>/ BUT NO LIGHT.
Do anybody have a suggestion to solve this??

I bought a $15 iTunes gift card and after I scanned it with my phone I only had a $6.44 balance. I downloaded a second $15 iTunes gift card and that worked out fine. What can I do to get the rest of my credit from my gift card???

and review your purchases to make sure that you should indeed have the balance left you think you should. iTunes doesn't always refresh the balance it shows, so it's possible you spent the money and it just wasn't being reflected in the display. This display error can usually be corrected by logging out of the iTunes Store and then back in. It's also possible that you owed money which would have been paid from that first iTunes card.
If you confirm that you should have a higher balance left but the iTunes Store isn't showing it correctly, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

MSI GT70 0NC Bluetooth not working, not a driver issue

My Bluetooth was working just fine until recently. If I try to receive files, I get a message saying that files cannot be sent since a connection cannot be established, I need to make sure the Bluetooth radio is plugged in. I tried reinstalling the drivers, but once again, I am getting a message: "The software removal you are attempting cannot proceed. To remove this software, please first be sure that the Intel(R) wireless adapter is correctly installed and enabled.". If I go to the device manager, I cannot find any Bluetooth device, which on the other hand, might be because the Bluetooth is part of the Intel wireless card. I have been cleaning the laptop on my own, by opening the "hood", is it possible to have disconnected something accidentally? I have no clue what to do, and I need the Bluetooth a lot. I don't want to do a system restore just because of the Bluetooth.

MSI TV Card doesn't work in Windows Server 2003 !!!

I have bought a MSI TV Tuner (TV @nywhere series)
I Installed it on Windows XP and it works properly.
But I Installed it on Windows Server 2003 and noticed that it's not working at all !
It's TV Tuner , however, doesn't work good (It has a weak receiving power). I'm using it as a Radio (MSI Radio). But even the Radio is not working under Windows Server 2003.
I want to know what's the problem ? What Driver should I use ?
I have Installed the same driver in Windows 2003, Because there isn't any Windows 2003-specific driver included in the CD-ROM of this package.
Please guide me what should I do. I need Windows Server 2003 to be my OS. I want to know if this TV Tuner isn't supposed to work on Windows 2003 Server ? It's only desingated for Windows XP and prior ? What's the solution ?

It's exactly the driver I have on MSI CD-ROM. As you can see above, it's telling There's no support for Win2003 !!!

Now you see ? Even in the manufactory you haven't tested and it was not important for this comany if their hardware can or cannot work on Win2003.
Maybe you have designed it especially for Windows XP and prior.

MSI GT70 0ND Turbo not working Please help me

Hello all, I noticed my Turbo button doesn't work anymore. It doesn't lit up when I press it and the Enable and Disable options for the VGA overclock tool are greyed out.
The VGAOCAP.exe process is running, but I'm not sure if it depends on other processes or services
What should there be running and/or how can I reinstall the VGA overclock tool so it'll work again?

MSI GT70 2PC Bios update (Legacy mode)

I've got a GT70 2PC notebook with Win7 64bits installed, and I want to update its BIOS.
I've downloaded the last version (117 version, I think, because I haven't got RAID), but I couldn't update it, because its BIOS files are to UEFI Bios update, not the DOS version.... I haven't got the Flash.bat file to update it, only a file called "E1763IMS.117"...
What should I do?

I need help, i was updating the BIOS of my laptop msi gt70 2od-039us (dragon Editon2) WIN 8 then upgraded to 8.1 with this: E1763IMS.717.zip exactly as shown in pdf of site msi bios download.... I did step by Step, but in the step 12. BIOS info says: “System will power off and then power on automatically”…
The laptop, goes off, then appears black screen, cooler spins but never enter in the flash screen.
Please help me how i restart my laptop again, it’s possible or i need to buy a new motherboard?

Cant turn on the VT-X on MSI GT70 0NC-029NE ?

Hello ! Im starting to learn about virtual computers and when i try to install a Virtual computer on my laptop (MSI GT70 0NC-029NE) it says that the "VT-X" is not enable. I have tryed to fix it in bios and looked on 20 clips about it but i dont get it to work. Im using VMWare and its Windows server 2012 im trying to instal as my "virtual" computer. So my question is can somebody help me with it ? I cant find were to turn on the VT-X. Or if its possible to do that on my computer. Ive read that on some laptops its just disable or you dont have the option to turn it on.

Ok. Now i used the program and did everything 2 times. When it comes to the end in the program, It says that i already have the files or the "new" bios updates. I restarted the computer and took out the batterie and everything but its still the same thing. When i try to boot from the USB stick its just a black screen, And when i read the log file it says that i have the old Bios update.
So to make it short. I cant update it. It says that the files are the same but when i look they have diffrent name's. One of them have ---->

I want to solve the problem of unlocked BIOS.
But there were problems with flashing. Unlocked version of the 30M and 10M are not installed in Dos mode. Wrote "Problem get flash information"

MSI GT70 2OD Nvidia Drivers

Is there a reason why MSI GT70 2OD owners are unable to upgrade to the latest Nvidia Drivers for their 780M?
Other brands with the 780M seem to be able to upgrade (Alienware, Clevo etc), but the drivers won't work with the MSI Laptop.
Will we only be able to get drivers from MSI for this laptop, or in the future will we be able to install drivers from Nvidia?

When the GT70's originally came out with the GTX6XX cards in them, they didn't have support from NVidia for a few driver releases. I expect that within the next few driver releases, support will be added.
Most likely, it should be possible to make the new drivers work if you did some INF editing though.....

MSI GT70 0ND - Upgrading Video card

Hello! I currently own an MSI GT70 0ND with a gtx 675m gpu in it. Im looking into upgrading it to the 770m which I was told should fit fine. Thats mainly my question here, does anyone know for sure if the 770m will fit properly with the heat sync? The cards are identical aside from the Chip themselves on the board. I'd like to assume all would be well considering the 770m's chip is slightly smaller in width.

It worked as far as installing, but after rebooting the laptop goes to a blue screen. Looking at the screenshot, does this have MSI bios? Will I have to flash it to MSI?

The ASUS G75VW and G55VW series have not been Discontinued and just started being released at the end of April 2012.
They are available at many places. The Best Buy - Asus model G75VW-BBK5 sells at $1200. But rather get the better G75VW-DS71 / 72 or 73 (BB doesn't have yet) which is much more $1700. In my opinion it's the BBK5 unit that Asus no longer makes.
MSI has made a large leap into the Laptop market since they are nearly the new kid on the block on PC's.
Best Buy doesn't sell a large selection of Gaming or 17 inch laptops due to cost and customer affordability.
Most Gamers use Desktops cause they are easier to upgrade, keep cool, and stock the better performing High End Graphics Cards also use of Multiple Monitors. As laptops will always be a notch below what a desktop can do for Gamers.
A gaming Desktop is cheaper in regards to Laptop Price.
The main advantage with a Laptop is portability - pack it up and go.
Several Online Venders that Customize Builds to your requirements are expensive but could be worth a look into.
