NW04S Publish to Bex Broadcaster Option Does Nothing

I run Query Designer (NW04S FEP13), open any query, select option Publish -> Bex Broadcaster and nothing happens. I am expecting the create new setting screen to pop up but it doesn't. I have the required authorization.
We are running NW04S SP9.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am unable to upload to YouTube etc as the online option does not work when clicked on. Have I missed a setting somwhere?

Please clarify...do you click on "Online" and get now further or do you click on "Online", get it to open so that you see YouTube but there are no presets for YouTube or are you doing something else?
Assuming for now that you get no further than "Online"....
When you go to Publish+Share/Online where you will find choices for uploading your Timeline (Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo), when you click on Online for the first time I find that you must wait for these presets and their choices to be downloaded. Once these presets are downloaded, then you will see the presets and their optons. In view of that, my questions would be:
a. The usual drill...do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed and are you running Premiere Elements 11 Windows from a User Account with Administrative Priviliedges?
b. Is you Internet connection working properly?
c. Have you tried to delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file? The route in Windows 7 or 8 64 bit would be:
Local Disk C
Users
Owner
AppData
Roaming
Adobe
Premiere Elements
11.0
and in the 11.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete.
Make sure that you are working with Folder Options Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives ON.

BEx Analyzer: BEx Broadcaster Option Greyed out

Hi Folks,
We are currently running SAP NW7.0 Enhancement Pack 1.
In BEx Analyzer, I have a query view saved from a query. I want to perform information broadcasting using this query view via BEx Analyzer, but the "BEx Broadcaster" option is unavailable, i.e., greyed out.
How do I resolve this?
I have found a workaround which is to open the main query from Query Designer, and then clicking Publish to get the web interface of information broadcasting to open up, and then selecting Query View and clicking Open to open my query view.
But I would still like to know how to open the BEx Broadcaster directly from BEx Analyzer.
Please advise, and thanks in advance!

Dennis suggestion should works.
You have to be in mind, if you are using BEx Analyzer 7.0 you MUST have be installed the BI Java, otherwise the Broadcastwill not works.
If you have it, execute the note 937697 and fix ALL red marks. Probably this is a communication issue between ABAP and Java side.

Publish in Bex Broadcaster

I created a web template , and clicked on publish in bex broadcaster. I got a pop up message to create the settings so I choose the wizard and typed the email address , schedule time etc. and executed. It did not work at first because the SMTP was not set up. After the basis made that change , i started getting emails . Now when I am trying to run the report and click on publish in bex broadcaster , i am not getting the message for settings . What is the reason?

FaceBook button missing in iPhoto 8.0.4, menu option does nothing

I can see the MobileMe, Email and Flickr buttons in iPhoto (latest version). The FaceBook button is missing. Clicking an album and then the FaceBook menu item in Share does nothing.
Neither does the Flickr button or menu item. MobileMe does bring up a dialog box but I have no idea where the FaceBook button disappeared to and how to bring it back and actually make it work. I have posted albums OK in the past.

You remove that file.
Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.
*What's the plist file?*
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

TS3680 My iMac is locked on a gray screen, no apple logo or anything else shown, and the Command+Control+Esc option does nothing....help!

After a recent login, my iMac 27" has locked up with a gray screen. Cursor is visible, and moves, but I cannot get anything to actually open and the login screen does not appear. I tried the command+control+esc option, in an attempt to force quit / restart, but nothing happens.

Scheduled BEX Broadcaster reports does not work automatically after BW 7.3 upgrade

Hello,
We recently upgraded our BW system from 7.0 to 7.31
Since then broadcasting reports has been inconsistent. Not all the reports are broadcasted.
Some reports of object type Query has been scheduled to run everyday but I don't see that in released status in SM37.
Some WAD templates throws an error that states " JAVA SYSTEM ERROR : EXCEPTION in method process function"
WAD reports also flags this warning : "Transformation Exception while transforming BEX web templates" in all the reports.
System Version:
BI ABAP 7.31 SP11
BI JAVA 7.00 SPS 30 Patch.
Most of the suggested SAP Notes are covered in this release.
SAP suggests to upgrade BI JAVA. But we are looking for a quick fix since JAVA upgrade has to go through a process and that's time consuming.

There a quite massive differences between BI-JAVA 7.0x and 7.3x.

No response When I clicked Bex Broadcaster

Hi All,
In BW Development system I am able to Broadcast my query into Internet Explorer.
Where as BW Quality system not able to do it, when I clicked Bex Broadcaster option In query designer, No response.
FYI..I have authorizations as like BW Development system but still problem alive..

Hi,
when you execute braodcaster option from query designer by default it will go to Web portal. You have to check you EP team whether it is configured with QA and you have to give URL for your portal in transaction RSPOR_CUST01.

Unable to publish to Portal and BEx Broadcaster in WAD

Dear SDN Experts,
We are experiencing the following problem when trying to publish or broadcast a Web Template from BEx WAD to EP portal:
(we are using BI 2004s, SP10, Revision 263 of BEx WAD)
When we create and save a new Web Template, we choose from the menu Web Template -> Publish -> to Portal or BEx Broadcaster. These two options are active but when we click on either of them, nothing happens. The system is not responding in any way.
Does anyone have an idea what might cause this problem?
We have thought it is an authorization issues either on the BI side or on the Portal, but as we have granted all neccessary authorizations we can state that it does not seem to be an authorization problem.
I will very much appreciate your help!

Hi Ivan,
Make sure ABAP and Java Stack are communicating. Run RSRT2 --> Java Web to make sure you are communicating with Portal.
Can you please check if you have authorizations to use Information Broadcaster?
Authorization object: S_RS_ADMWB with the field RSADMWBOBJ = BR_SETTING
Logon to Java Stack Portal --> Business Explorer --> BEx Broadcaster and test it from here. so that you are not having any problem with authorizations or connectivity.

I have created a query and using the below path i am publishing the query to broadcaster,
Query Menu -> Publish -> Bex Broadcaster,
It prompts me for login but after providing my login details it shows me a blank page. Neither it prompts me for selection screen and nor it displays any output.
Any idea experts why its happening.

looks like there is no standard or customized web templates setup.Goto RSCUSTV21 and add for the entries AdHoc Analysis-0ANALYSIS_PATTERN,
Broadcasting- 0BROADCASTING_TEMPLATE70 and Query Precalculation- 0Query_Template_Broadcasting70 and save the entries.Also make sure you have activated them from business content.Let us know if you need further help.I assume you are in 7.0 version.This standard templates vary for the 3.5 version.

Adobe captivate video publisher upload button does nothing

Hi, on 2 different machines, the adobe captivate video publisher upload button does nothing. Add to that support says it's not available when I called in on a trial product. Hmmm if you won't help BEFORE I buy, what will happen after? c'mon... i've purches thousands of dollars worth of adobe software and currently own the creative cloud ...and I get the brushoff like that? Oh and the chat system wasn't working becuase the queue was too full....

Windows 8 - "Make Available Offline" option missing. Went to Control panel- Sync Centre clicking "Manage offline files" Does nothing.

Hello I am running Windows 8 Single Language Edition.
I tried to Make a NAS folder available offline by right clicking on the folder. But "Make Available Offline" option is missing.
Then went to Control Panel->Sync Centre clicking "Manage offline files" does nothing.
How to fix my issue?

Please also check if Offline Settings is enabled from NAS folder. Folder-> properties -> Advanced sharing on sharing tab -> Caching.

Using Variants Created in BEx Analyzer in BEx Broadcaster

We are experiencing an issue where variants created in BEx Analyzer are not available to be selected in BEx Broadcasting.
What we are trying to achieve is when we have a Variant that is created in BEx Analyzer, we want to use the same variant in our BEx Broadcaster, which is found under the Tab General Precalculation and the option Determine from Variants.
For some background, we are on NW04S Patch 9 with BEx Front End 3.5 Patch 10.
Does anyone have any inisight on this issue?
