NWDI BROKEN DC's when importing SAPPCUI_GP
Dear all,
We are currently trying to coustomize MSS and ESS packages. For which we created a track and imported
SAPESS 6.0 SP 11
SAPMSS 6.0 SP 11
SAPPCUI_GP 6.0 SP 11
on the track. And before this i have imported SAPBUILDT sp13 and SAP-JEE sp 13 SAPJTECH sp13 on the same track. When i import the SAPPCUI_GP on the track which is having some 18 DCs in it, i get 14 broken DCs. in the track.
And even then when i try to build a project on this track i get the following error

I want to modify SC SAP_ESS 600. I have followed the NWDI cookbook. When creating the track, SAP lists SAP_PRT as a requirement for SAPPCUI_GP 600. Can someone please provide me with the SCA filename for component SAP_PRT, as I now have broken DCs in CBS for SAPPCUI_GP. As I understand I need to place this file in the CMS inbox.

Thanks for suggestion. I have looked at notes 761266 and 908569. We are currently running the following:
ECC 6.0
SAP J2EE 7.0 SP13 (minimum 11 suggested by notes)
SAPESS SP7, SAPMSS SP7, SAPPCUI_GP SP7
If I look at DC pcui/xsscfg in CBS for example, it is looking for used DC tc/bi/bp/portalapplication which was not imported with CMS.
Any suggestions? Maybe update SAPPCUI_GP?

Why is my video being broken up into different clips when importing
Hello everyone. I just installed FCP X last night and imported a wedding video from my Canon XH-A1s using FCP, but I'm having trouble understanding why when imported the 1hr long footage taken at church is broken up into several clips. I recorded the clip as a whole and just to see if it was a tape problem I imported the clip to my pc using Sony Vegas Pro and it shows up as one whole clip.....what seems to be the problem? Is it dropping frames or is it just easier for FCP to import clips by using this method....I'm new to FCP by the way.
Using a iMac with Intel core duo, 2ghz Snow LeopardIs that true Tom? In FCP7 (and earlier versions) HDV clips are imported as a whole, not fragmented. Every start/stop moment causes FCP to create a new clip. So if Orlando's clip was recorded as a whole, FCPX should import it as one clip.

Error when importing Web Service Model
Hi,
I am having trouble importing a Web Service model into my Web Dynpro component.
I have successfully published my SessionBean method as a Web Service which works correctly when used from the Web AS Web Service Navigator.
However, my Web Dynpro cannot correctly create a model from the WSDL. The problem seems to be with the last parameter of the method, a two-dimensional array of Strings. When importing the web service model, the following line of code get created in the respective Model class:
logicalPort.generateMetadata(this.getKeywordsAsArray(), this.srcLang, this.getTgtLangAsArray(), ERROR no prop = parameters
Obviously there is a problem with the code generation for the last parameter (the two-dimensional array) which results in this "ERROR no prop = parameters" message.
Does anyone have an idea what I might be doing wrong? Is there a problem with multidimensional arrays in Web Dynpro model classes? I originally wanted to use a HashMap but naturally had to use a simple data type - any other ideas for a workaround?

When importing images into LR5 on my laptop, the photos all have a wide yellow streak through them. This only happens on the laptop; I can import the images onto my desktop LR and there isn't the streak of colour. Can someone help?
This is happening even with photos that were taken on another camera, not just mine. My daughter told me that the laptop recently fell. The yellow streak is not anywhere else on the laptop, just on the photos in LR.I have had this problem on my desktop. I have been attempting to reproduce it where it can be debugged. Here are some observations/facts in my environment--no conclusions:
1. I do not import from camera or memory stick directly into LR. I copy all images (using Explorer) from camera to two different locations (backup location first); and then my working area. In both cases, after files are copied I mark them Read-only.
2. Poor observation, but in any event: the issue has only occurred when I do a large number of images. Its a poor observation as I have no exact number. I suspect when I do less than 50 always works well every time. However, I have also done some very large imports without issue.
3. Error only occurs with my RAW images--for me that's NEF. I have multiple cameras--those that only capture jpg images have never had an issue in LR.
4. Even if the file is marked Read Only issues can still occur. I then remove the image from the disk using LR -- and then manually (Explorer) copy in my backup image -- re import again and all is well. I think one time I exited LR and replaced the bad file with a backup and restarted LR and all was well again.
5. When it occurs I have performed a HASH value on the broken file and on the backed up file to determine if the file contents has changed--and each time the file contents has changed.
6. I have had this occur immediately after import, but most often it occurs like this... import large number of images; Make changes in Development Module on random image, export jpg of changes--exit LR. Open up LR and file is corrupted.
7. I have had this issue on multiple USB drives ( okay just 2 different drives have been tested ).
What next--fire up Process Monitor and monitor the system (specifically LR) to see if it reports any file open for write access when this occurs. So, far I have not had process monitor actually running when it occurs--one of these days. -
Error when importing CO Hierarchies from R/3 DEV to R/3 QAS

But The two hierarchies were available in R/3 QAS and also i am able to utilise..
My doubt is if i transport these hierarchies from R/3 QAS to R/3 Production any major issues...
Now i want to test a data in BW DEV from R/3 Production data...
So, I am planning to transport These hierarchies from R/3 QAS to R/3 PROD...
Here we do not have BW QAS...So, getting data from R/3Production to BW DEV and testing...
After testing Directly use in BW Production...
So, Please suggest me why when importing these hierarchies errors occuring???

Audio dropout when importing from tape
I have several imovie projects from many years ago backed up on DV tape. I decided to import them to imovie and convert them to itunes format videos
to store them as computer files. The process had gone well, but I have one project where the first clip loses sound. I can hear the sound when the tape plays on the camcorder and I can hear the sound when the clips are being imported to imovie, but the sound is missing on the first clip - completely absent. All subsequent clips are fine. The problem is the first 15-sec clip in a 45 min project, but it is critical.

iMovie'08 to 11 - are far from tools of choice when working with miniDV tape material - as non of them can deliver 100% out to e.g. DVD or whatever You want to do with it.
iMovie up HD6 and FinalCut are far more better.
iMovie up to HD6 - Can import even if TimeBase code info is broken - set to NOT import as individual clips.
If tape is recorded in LP-Mode - Then You got lot's of problem
• You need the Original Camera that made the recording - even same type and No: doesn't help as tolerances are to thin/small.
• Import into iMovie HD6
• as NO individual Clips - set in iMovie pref.
• and To TimeLine - not to Shelf
• DIRECTLY after import - Extract Sound (Advance menu - down) - ELSE Audio get's out of Sync.
Now I use to copy back to tape and CAMERA SET TO SP-Mode ! Just to get a good archive tape !

3D feature, when importing 3d model, unwelds polys at UV borders

When I import any obj or dae file from Maya into Photoshop CS 6 then the program always unwelds the model's edges along the UV boundaries which causes a mess if I import the geometry back into any other 3d program as well as making photoshop unable to paint over seams accurately which is supposed to be one of the key advantages to using photoshop extended in the first place. Can someone please explain to me how I can stop photoshop from doing this?
Here are the images detailing the problem where I used one of the simplest possible models and uvs to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end.

Is anybody testing the software? If yes, then you'd surely know that polygons within a previously seamless mesh are being unwelded from each other, along UV island boundaries, on import to Photoshop. The mesh isn't broken into separately named objects in Photoshop, but its structure is changed and unwanted seams appear in the mesh and prevent correct texturing. Splitting along UV boundaries when importing can be found in some other apps, but these apps give the user the option to do that or not!
What hope of a fix is there when you don't even understand Georgerocious's abundantly clear screenshots? He shows an exploded mesh that was a seamless mesh before import to Photoshop. He imported the pristine seamless mesh into Photoshop, exported the wrecked mesh from Photoshop then imported the wreck into Maya or Max or similar for examination and to produce the exploded image. -
When importing songs of a same album but different artist iTunes will separate the artists. How can I bring all together in the same album?
Generally setting a common Album Artist will fix things. For deeper problems see Grouping tracks into albums.

I am running iTunes for Windows 10.2.2 on Windows 7 Home. I have my iTunes library on both this computer and another authorized machine running Windows 7 Professional. I have a large but not enormous library, as I'm one of those people who doesn't pirate, use torrents, borrow from a dozen friends, or whatever other shades of gray you might imagine. It's mostly iTunes purchases with my old CD collection imported. I have started using the following technique to sync my libraries between my two authorized computers, an ability which you can probably all agree should one day be added to iTunes -- that would be different from Home Sharing, because the music would be stored locally and thus available on the road. With the added benefit of the entire library being backed up on the other machine in real-time. Anyway, when I switch from my desktop to laptop and vice versa, I use the following technique:
Connect both machines to the home network. One machine is the "Active" machine, which has most recently been used for iTunes media, purchases, ratings, etc.
On the "Active" machine, File-->Library-->Export. Save the file as "Library.xml" on the shared drive of the other machine.
Right-click "Library.xml" where it's been saved, and open another file that has two lines in it: The root path of the iTunes library on one machine and the root path of the iTunes library on the other machine.
Do a find/replace all in Notepad to make the library XML file point to where the files will be saved on the "Inactive" machine.
Run Microsoft SyncToy to synchronize the files between both music libraries; the most recent files win. This avoids copying the entire multi-gigabyte library over the network.
Open iTunes on the "Inactive" machine.
Go to Music, Select All, Delete. Keep files.
Do the same for Movies, Music Videos.
Go down to Playlists, select the top one, hold down the delete button until they're all gone.
File-->Library-->Import Playlist. Choose the "Library.xml" file you saved.
First a status bar comes up that says, "Importing library." It has the continually-scrolling progress bar, not the one that starts on the left and steadily creeps right. Then after about 30 seconds, that clears out. Wait. Typically a few minutes. Eventually a status bar will pop up saying something like, "Evaluating gapless playback information," or something like that.
The "Inactive" computer is now the "Active" computer. I can now play my library, it has all my playlists and metadata from the other machine.
Delete all the duplicate playlists named "Music," "Genius," "Purchased," and "iTunes DJ."
Well, I just upgraded to iTunes 10.2.2 a few days ago and tried to do this again like I've done it dozens of times before. Now, iTunes just goes unresponsive after the library import. It got through the "Importing library" bar to the long wait and stopped. I can still multiprocess and use other programs, but iTunes is hovering back there not responding to clicks. Task Manager doesn't seem to think iTunes is using my CPU, and I don't see my hard drive rattling. Any thoughts on why iTunes might hang up when importing a large library?
... Also, please help lobby Apple to come up with a network sync tool built into iTunes for a user with multiple authorized computers. Something different than Home Sharing so I can pull my laptop off the network and still have the synced library with me. And all my metadata changes will sync. The technique I use seems a little kludgey, don't you think?iTunes isn't an editor. You need an app that's intended for editing audio files, like Adobe Audition (http://www.adobe.com/products/audition.html) or Audacity (free in the App Store).

Files Renamed when importing to LR4 and now can't find them in LR3
Help! What should I do???
Yesterday I installed LR 4 Beta. I had a folder with 300 images in it on LR 3, obviously all files had names. I imported these photos into LR4 to work with LR4 and they were renamed in the process. Now in my LR3 folder, all the files still have there old names and the "missing photo ?" and I assume that's because the name has been changed and LR3 can't find them. Any thoughts on an easy fix?

I must admit, I didn't pay too much attention when importing this "test"
group of photos to LR4, therein lies my problem. Now that I look at the
import settings that were used:
1. Files were not added or copied, they were "moved" to a new location and
also renamed.
2. Files were renamed starting with "264" using my regular import template.
Listed below are the first 10 photos with their original LR3 and he
changed LR4 names.
1201_001 changed to 1201_264-2
1201_002 changed to 1201_265-2
1201_003 changed to 1201_266-2
1201_004 changed to 1201_267-2
1201_005-Edit-Edit changed to 1201_268-2
1201_005-Edit changed to 1201_269-2
1201_005-Edit changed to 1201_270-2
1201_005-Edit-Edit-2 changed to 1201_271-2
I have a back up of my images on an EHD from several days ago which has the
original file names, but this backup only has 203 of the 268 images I
imported yesterday and are renamed.

ITunes 6.0.1.3 crashes often when importing cds -- help!
I just installed iTunes 6.0.1.3 for the first time on my PC since I have it already on my iMac. It crashes fairly consistently when importing CDs. It seems basically useless on my Windows machine.
My import settings are:
320kbps/VBR-highest/normal stereo
I have a clean Windows XP machine, no viruses, no malware.
Is there any reason this can be happening besides iTunes being a POS on Windows?
thanksI've determined that iTunes has to be the topmost active window when importing, otherwise it will crash consistantly. And I though Microsoft was bad...
iTunes for the Mac works fine though. -
when importing cds to the ipod library song with guest artist are not placed in the same flie they are spread all over the library ,so when playing the file they are not all together missing tracks,also importing anthology cds many artist from different cds are lumped together or multiple duplicate cds are in the library i hate this!!!! help!!!
Somebody PLEASE help me.... I keep getting the "itunes has stopped working" error when I import cd's and that it's checking windows for help. That's it! It doesn't tell me how to fix it. Apple stores or the phone support has been ZERO help. I just need to reinstall all these cds that were lost when I plugged in my new ipod to my new computer!!!

BUT NOTE! If this is MXF from a CANON camera...their new 305 camera...you not only need a plugin to get it to work (they either include it with the camera, or you have to go to the website... the Canon Log and Transfer plugin), it also might only work with FCP 7. Because the camera is brand spankin new. Try the plugin first...well, if this is from that Canon camera. -

Digging up an old thread slightly, but is this still definitely the case? Last week double-clicking a folder definitely just opened up a folder for me to explore its contents, but now I'm constantly accidentally importing huge folders into things like After Effects and Mail... it's very annoying!
