NWDS Active/Inactive DC shows offline after loging to NWDI
Hi experts,
I am Facing a weird issue using NWDS.
When I log to NWDI through NWDS, the active/inactive DC perspective still shows as Offline.
I tried closing and reopening NWDS couple of times but still the issue persists.
I faced same issue couple of days back and closing and reopening NWDS resolved the issue.
I am searching for a permanent solution for this problem.

Did you try to reimport the track and see?
We had same issue issue closing and opening NWDS didn't solve then we have removed the Track from Development Configuration Perspective and imported the track again and it helped.
After deleting the Track in NWDS, navigate to Window - Preferences - Expand Java Development Infrastructure - Development Configuration Pool and look for the Location for Development Configuration.
And Delete the .dtc folder from that location and close the NWDS and reopen and import the new track.
This should solve the issue.

in NWDS the configurations have to be imported i.e. development configuration for ESS/MSS track in the Config , inside the Software component.
select the DC and create project out of it then you can do the modifications and deploy.
Import the track in to the NWDI:
Once the track is created by our administrator then we need to import that track in to the NWDI.After opening the NWDS go to the development configurations perspective.
Perspective option will be in the top menu follow this
Window > Open Perspective > Click on others > select Development Configurations.
Then login in to DTR and import the configuration. Once you select import the below shown pop will appear, Select remote option from that.
After selecting the remote in the bottom area all tracks will be listed ,Select Your track which you want to import. Then click on finish button.
Customization in the standard ESS Leave Request WebDynPro applications.
Find the corresponding DC of the screen in which you want to make changes.
May be it will be helpful for you.

Printer connected to Airport Express USB port won't come online after firmware 7.6 upgrade. I've tried backing up to 7.5.2, but it still shows offline. It is a Canon iP4600 printer and I'm running OS 10.6.8. I've powered everything down and still no go. I've connected the printer directly to my MacBook's USB port and it works fine. Any suggestions?
I have an iP4500, which I assume is quite similar to your model.
I had to reset the printing system to get things printing again. Only takes a few minutes and no problems at all since I did it a week ago or so.
Plug the printer into the USB port on the Express and restart the printer.
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock) and then open Print and Fax
Right-Click in the printer area on the left and select Reset Printing System
Then click the + (plus) button at the bottom of the printer list to install the printer again. -
my iphone shows offline in find my iphone, I deleted it and it it said it would find it when it was connected again but has never showed back up. My mobile me also says inactive. I have deleted it and redid it, but still my I cannot use the locate my phone option
Then it is either off, not connected to a network or has been restored as new. Not much you can do.

My sons iPhone 5 was stolen out of his blazer pocket while in a games lesson, this was last period and on return to get changed find that someone from his class had stolen his phone from his zipped pocket. Straight away I went onto the find my iPhone on my phone and it has been showing offline since the phone was stolen. The phone had a password set on it and I have notified the police, school and also our carrier. The phone has been offline now for 32 hours, would this mean they have been unable to access the phone and switched it off? Is it possible for the phone to be jail broken while this password has been set. I am most angry that this has happened and the changing rooms are always locked while the lessons take place, so this is someone within my sons class that has stolen the phone. All you may infer is the device hasn't been turned on where it can connect to Wi-Fi.
The phone may be jailbroken if there is no lock passcode to prevent access. However, the phone can be completely erased and restored as new. In this case you will have no ability to locate it or prevent it from being jailbroken.

Using JetDirect 175x with LJ 3200 and getting offline after a short time
I have a HP LJ 3200 connecting to my home network via a JetDirect 175x print server, using a D-Link router. All was good until I updated the firmware on the D-Link router. This changed the network IP scheme from 192.168.15.x to 192.168.0.x. I decided to change all devices to 0.x. I get a connection to the print server and am able to print but it seems to timeout, the printer shows offline on my laptop, after a while of inactivity. I am unable to ping the device after that. I unplug the network cable and plug it back in and it re-connects. Is that a setting I need to make to keep the connection open? Thanks. ..
Thats the problem with the third party apps. You have no luck until they update it to work properly.

For Find My Phone to work, such must be turned on & activated on your devices. The devices must also be connected to the Internet, either by WiFi or 3G. So, your devices meet all of those requirements?

We have WAE 7341 with 4.1.5f code which failed. We recreated raid after which we see all the disk online, but raid shows offline status.

Further, if you are using recovery CD, please make sure to run option 7 more than once and then option 8 to install the image on box.

How to active/inactive checking budget for GR and IR
Dear All,
I would like to know how to active / inactive checking to budget (using Investment management) when we post GR and IR. I use budget profile BDG5 with availability control ++ . There is no transaction group saying GR or IR. But sometime i got error message budget exceeded in GR and IR level. For example :
Scenario is PR-PO-GR in 2007 and IR in 2008 (it shows budget exceeded)

Could anyone let me know why this happens ?CSMon—CSMon service is responsible for the monitoring, recording, and notification of Cisco Secure CS ACS performance, and includes automatic response to some scenarios. For instance,TACACS+ and RADIUS service dies, CS ACS by default restarts all the services, unless otherwise configured. Monitoring includes monitoring the overall status of Cisco Secure ACS and the system on which it is running. CSMon actively monitors three basic sets of system parameters:
Generic host system state—monitors disk space, processor utilization, and memory utilization.
Application-specific performance—periodically performs a test login each minute using a special built-in test account by default.
System resource consumption by Cisco Secure ACS—CSMon periodically monitors and records the usage by Cisco Secure ACS of a small set of key system resources. Handles counts, memory utilization, processor utilization, thread used, and failed log-on attempts, and compares these to predetermined thresholds for indications of atypical behavior.
CSMon works with CSAuth to keep track of user accounts that are disabled for exceeding their failed attempts count maximum. If configured, CSMon provides immediate warning of brute force attacks by alerting the administrator that a large number of accounts have been disabled.
By default CSMon records exception events in logs both in the CSV file and Windows Event Log that you can use to diagnose problems. Optionally you can configure event notification via e-mail so that notification for exception events and outcomes includes the current state of Cisco Secure ACS at the time of the message transmission. The default notification method is simple mail-transfer protocol (SMTP) e-mail, but you can create scripts to enable other methods. However, if the event is a failure, CSMon takes the actions that are hard-coded when the triggering event is detected. If the event is a warning event, it is logged, the administrator is notified if it is configured, and no further action is taken. After a sequence of re-tries, CSMon also attempts to fix the cause of the failure and individual service restarts. It is possible to integrate custom-defined action with CSMon service, so that a user-defined action can be taken based on specific events.
Answering your query: This may be a brand new installation OR none of ACS services restarted lately so logs OR CSMON logging might have disabled under system configuration > Logging.

I just upgraded to 10.6.3 and then 10.6.8 on my Mac Mini. With 10.6.3 Activity Monitor started showing total of 3 GB of RAM instead of 4 GB as System Profile does show. I ran Rember and all tests passed. It showed 4 GB total memory and 1690 MB available memory which seems consistent with AM's Free memory.
Any ideas why the system seems to "see" (System Profiler) all the memory but not be using it (AM)?

Activity monitor not showing all memory
I just upgraded to 10.7.4 on my Mac Mini from a fresh install of 10.6.3. Activity Monitor shows 3 GB available, while System Profiler shows 4GB:
But when I boot back into 10.5.8, all 4GB are there usable in AM.
When I upgraded from 10.5.8, with 10.6.3 Activity Monitor started showing total of 3 GB of RAM instead of 4 GB as System Profile does show. I ran Rember and all tests passed. It showed 4 GB total memory and 1690 MB available memory which seems about consistent with AM's Free memory.
I use Virtual PC and it has a slider bar to set the RAM for the PC. It shows a little more than 3.5 GB available though above 3 GB it is highlighted in yellow, as if caution about trying to use it. So I set it to a little more than 3GB, started V PC and watched its usage climb in Activity Monitor. When it reached about 3GB the whole Mac OSX locked.
So, then I tried a fresh install of 10.6.3 and it has the same behavior and upgrade to 10.7.4 still the same.
Any ideas why the system seems to "see" (System Profiler) all the memory but not be using it (AM)?

I bought it in 10/2007. Even for that long ago, it seems like 2GB would have been quite limiting. I upgraded to 4GB soon after I got it. So, I suppose that I get anything above 2GB is a bonus.

Still will try swapping the cards around... maybe I can still get the newer OS and all 4GB back by some quirk as before. -

I can print with this IP address. One my user want to print Duplex side by side (Print on both side) Automatic.
So I click on and apply in Print on both side (auto) check box. after than My printer is offline. But I can access printer's
web management pages, I can ping printer's ip address. But the printer is offline in status. when i check in printer's
port number and IP, the all information are correct. I don't know why showing offline.

Hi All
I have a design where all my WAE are inline in the path of traffic .
One of my WAE Edge shows on the CM as offline and after half an hour it comes online , again it went offline after 1 hour and so on.
What might be the issue and when its offline I can not even remotely telnet to the management intrerface of WAE but its keep on by passing the traffic.
Any body face the same issue , the problem with hardware or any suggestion.

Very interesting finding
1- Branch WAE Edge status on CM GUI is offline.
2- Unable to telnet Branch WAE Edge remotely.
BUT
1- Able to telnet Branch WAE Edge from the local netwrok.
2- When I telnet and check the cms info of Branch WAE Edge its showing 'inline'.
3- Branch WAE Edge is intercepting the traffic and optimizing and accelerating the traffic.
Any body can shed light on this issue why I am getting status off line on WAAS CM for this Branch WAE Edge.

Is it possible for Apple to provide the last location of an iPad when it was online. We lost an iPad and it is showing offline on iCloud find app.
If the iPad was running iOS 7, the thief/finder will not ever be able to use it.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
