Can anybody tell me why my o's switch over to i's when typing such as of turns into if . I have to be so carefull when typing and must re read everything to correct the i's into o's

Watch what is entered on the space bar in green letters. If that is correct, tap the space bar to enter it.
If what is on the space bar in green is not correct,
Of and If and are common words, the device is wrongly suggesting the other.

Hi experts,
    I am getting dump while trying print preview for particular POs in ME23n transaction(ECC 6.0). Please refer the below dump error:

     Field symbol is not assigned.
What happened?
     Error in the ABAP Application Program
     The current ABAP program "SAPLSTXC" had to be terminated because it has
     come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
     Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
     To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
     administrator.
     Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
     at and manage termination messages, and you can also
     keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
     A field symbol that was not assigned was accessed
     (data segment no. 32769).
    The field symbol is no longer assigned because there was an attempt
    makde previously in a Unicode program to set the field symbol using
    ASSIGN with offset and/or length specification. Here, the memory
    addressed by the offset/length specification was not within the
    allowed area.
How to correct the error
    If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
    find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
    If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
    keywords:
    "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED_RANGE" " "
    "SAPLSTXC" or "LSTXCFFT"
    "FT_COMPOSE"
    If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
    notification to SAP, include the following information:
    1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
       To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
    (Unconverted)".
   2. Corresponding system log
      Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
      Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
   after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
   (Unconverted)".
   3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
   program: The source code of the program
      In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
   Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
   4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
   actions and input led to the error.
I am getting this dump only for few POs.. Rest of the POs are able to print. I am not able to find notes for this issue. Is there any SAP notes available for that or Is there any configuration issue related to this?
Please provide solution for thsi as soon as possible.

A field symbol is not assigned, but thats what the dump is telling you. Mostly this happens, when fields or function modules are stored by name, like the fieldnames in the fieldcatalog in an ALV report. It a field referenced in such a way does not exist you will get this error. Always store fieldnames and function names in capital letters and check mistyping of 1L 8B and so on.

Connect timeout for InitialDirContext creation doesn't always work

Hi,
I've got a problem with the InitialDirContext creation timeout settings.
If I set com.sun.jndi.ldap.connect.timeout=5000, and I "mistype" the connection URL to something non-existent, or the port to something where nothing is listening, then this timeout kicks in, and the InitialDirContext creation fails (this is good so far).
However, if I set the URL to port 25 (for example), where another service (in this case SMTP) is listening, then the InitialDirContext creation will hang for ever waiting for a valid ldap response to the login request.
What other timeouts could I set for jndi to avoid this?
I've seen that this bug (http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4410856) was closed as fixed, but I don't think it's really fixed (or if it is, I haven't found what the correct procedure would be to fix this issue)

7 years old post but i have the CCNA Composite exam in 36 hours so i'll ignore that and answer.
I'm assuming a basic setup (like the one in the question) with PAT and many-to-one source translation.
The steps to properly configure NAT are:
1) list all your interfaces and track which ones are your *internal* interfaces and which one is your *external* one. In the configuration given by OP, the "inside" interface is Fastethernet 0/1. The "outside" interface is Ethernet 1/0.
2) Declare the interfaces one by one, this is done in the interface configuration dialog with the statement "ip nat inside" and "ip nat outside" for the respective interfaces.
3) Gather your traffic, with an ACL. This step is necessary to teach the router which traffic he should consider for Network Address Translation. It is achieved by an acl that permits traffic coming from the subnets configured on our "inside" interfaces. In this case, 192.168.1.0/24.

The reason OP can't get NAT to work is because his ACL was at first absent, and subsequently mistyped.
It should be
ip access-list standard 7
permit 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255
deny any
The deny statement is implied but explicitly adding it simplifies troubleshooting as every packet matching it will show up in
# show access-lists
ACLs use a "wildcard" mask notation for defining groups of addresses. For all intents and purposes at this level, they are just another format for the subnet masks but they can be used in other ways.
You obtain your wildcard mask by subtracting the subnet mask bits (in decimal) from 255.255.255.255. In this case: 255.255.255.255 - 255.255.255.0 (the subnet mask for a /24 network) = 0.0.0.255. Therefore, the mistake lies in the ACL statement.
4) Activate NAT with the general configuration dialog statement "ip nat inside source list LISTNAME interface INTERFACEID overload
5) Troubleshoot if needed by using show access-lists, show ip nat translations, debug ip nat . It only works when you see relevant data in the output of those commands.
You do *not* have to route anything, as that would defy the entire purpose of NAT.
If i made any mistake in my post please point it out. I think i got my head around NAT pretty ok but you never know.

How to deploy across multiple mid-tier instances

I was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. We have two portal/webcache mid-tier instances on release 10G AS 9.0.4.2. On the ias_admin home page I tried to create a cluster and add the two instances to a cluster but it won't let me do it for a portal type install. If that is the case, how do people handle deploying such things as portlet providers and data sources across multiple mid-tier instances? Here is the concern from our Portal admin:
As discussed, the inability to cluster the mid-tiers will cause issues in production as we try and keep deployed portlet providers with their required configurations and datasources in synch. While deploying and configuring 1-2 mid-tiers for a given portlet manually is do-able, the chance for out of synch components or configuration settings is amplified for each additional mid-tier. If we manually deploy 5 mid-tiers and accidently mistype the datasource for example, we'll have a random error that will occur once requests are attempted to be serviced by that mid-tier. This will make troubleshooting difficult. We really need some way to deploy and configure settings one time and have these items propagated to all the other mid-tiers.
What is the best way to handle this scenario?

Temporary files are held in bpel/domain/default/tmp folder, whereas jar files in the dehydration store for clustered deployment.
If you configure BPEL (not AS) cluster - files will be propagated to all nodes.

Wep encryption to a WAP2 encryption; Technician was clueless!

I'm just jumping on here to tell you that if a Verizon "technical assistant" tells you that you need to be 'hard wired' into your router in order to update your encryption from a WEP to a WAP2, that person is COMPLETELY WRONG.
In the end, I figured it out myself on how to do it wirelessly. I explained to him that it was done before, I just forgot my username and password. (I had to reset my smartphone and just needed to connect to my router) and it became a whole ordeal that the technician couldn't figure out. I ended up hanging up the phone on a WEP connection, not what I called in for.
He could not get my router to update because he didn't know how to. Which is ridiculous!! What's the point of having technicians if they can't do their job? After I hung up with him, I remembered how to do it on my own.
Please train your technicians. PLEASE!
Anyways, if you go to http://192.168.1.1 and enter in your username and password. If you forgot, reset your router and then it should be 'admin' for the username and 'password' for the password. After that, set up your own username and password and write it down and store it somewhere you will remember to find it. Next, go into Wireless Settings and then on the left, there is a pane with a few options. Click on Advanced Security Settings. Then it will ask you for a key. Leave it as ASCII and then start out with a capital letter and add some numbers. Write it down and keep it safe, you will need this.
It should automatically send the information to your router and then it will disconnect you. (The Technician couldn't get past this part). When you try to connect to the internet, it will ask you for the key you just entered in for a WAP2 encryption, the problem is, is that your computer is set up for WEP. SO, go into your 'network and sharing' and remove the network set up with WEP. Then set up new connection and enter in the key you used for your WAP2 encryption and VOILA! You now not only have a WAP2 connection with the highest security level, you also did it wirelessly.
And just an FYI, if you are using a WEP connection, it is easily hackable. You should set up to WAP2 which is the best security that is out there right now to protect your wireless connection in your home. You wouldn't want a neighbor or stranger snooping around in your computer, would you?

If you use wireless to change the key, and accidently mistype a character, then reboot, you'll have to connect directly anyway to fix it.

Why is skype forcing me to have a last name?

Skype is forcing me to show a last name. It had my full name and was displaying it to strangers on the internet. This really angers me. Now, it seems when I go to edit my profile the only thing I can do about it is put in a fake first and last name. I don't mind Skype having my info, but why is it showing it to people in my contacts?? Shouldn't it just display my Skype name?? Is it because I use a Microsoft account to log in?

Likely you may have used an add-on or extension that changed your default search engine to yahoo on mistyped URLs.

Why is a French company using my iCloud address to contact a French woman with the same first name and a surname which is a translation of mine? Has Apple duplicated the email address somehow? How do I stop this?

They are addressed to your email address I assume? I think the most likely explanation is that her address is similar and she mistyped it when she set up her Amazon account: consequently you are getting them and she isn't (particularly as you apparently aren't getting any other emails to her). This wouldn't mean she can get your emails.
However it's difficult to see what you can do to stop it since you don't know what her address actually is - if you think you can guess it you could email her and ask her to correct it in Amazon (if you guess wrong it will simply bounce so no harm done). Possibly if you could find a general contact address for Amazon you could alert them to it.
Otherwise you could set up a Rule to move all emails from Amazon France to the trash so at least you won't see them. Maybe she'll eventually work out that something is wrong.

Connecting to Time Capsule with a Powerbook G4

I have 2 computers, a MacBook Pro and an older Powerbook G4. I recently upgraded to TC, and can connect fine with the MacBook, but cannot with the PB G4. the G4 can find the TC, but when i put in the password, it just says connection failed. i only want to connect to the internet with the G4, not backup as that is being done on the MacBook.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks for teh OS info. I thought you might have been running an older version of the Mac OS that did not support higher encryption levels. I see that is not the case.
My MBP and PowerBook are both talking to nicely to our AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS), bought right before the the TC came out. The MBP is at 10.5.8 and the PBG4 is at 10.4.11. The only problem I had in setting up the PB was was remembering the right password; I got the PB about a month after I got the MB and AEBS. I had set a somewhat different password that I normally use (getting too old to remember multiple, complex passwords) and was mistyping it.
You might try running Keychain Access in your Utilities folder. Find the entry for the TC and double-click it. In the resulting window, check "show password." You'll need to enter your computer admin password, but the exact way you entered the pass into TC will be revealed.
If that's not the problem and is not, as I suspect, a hardware issue, you may consider posting either in the Leopard Networking forum here:

Mistyped icloud username and activation of "find iPhone" with last IOS update

I managed to mistype icloud username and activate "find iPhone" with last IOS update.
This means that:
I can not verify the iCloud username because it is a non-excisting email with no alternative e-mail adress
I can not delete the iCloud account because I do not have a password
I can not use forgot password because the iCloud-ID is a non excisting e-mail adress
I can not turn off "find iPhone" because the iCloud username is not verified
My Appel-ID is different from the icloud-ID with only one letter after the @ prefix, and that is the reason for this whole mess. I was supposed to type my Appel-ID as my iCloud-ID, but mistyped and approved the "new" and wrong iCloud-ID. During the last IOS update I activated the "find iPhone" functionality as a part of the installation procedure. The result is listed in the list above.
Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Alternate emaiI addresses are not used for resetting security questions, only your rescue email address is. If you don't have access to your rescue email account (you won't be able to change the address until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
