O2 Open and Friends and Family Discount Schemes

O2 Offer 2 discount schemes:
O2 Open is employer based (certain jobs/students qualify for discounts)
Friends and Family (F&F) applys if you have friends or family working for O2.
Both offer discount of the airtime portion of your refresh contract.
Open is 30%
F&F is 50%.

For F&F the employee of O2 needs to register here http://www.o2justforyou.co.uk/ and provide you with their EIN which you can then use.

In both cases you need to text in to claim,
text "OPEN" followed by your open code, mobile number, name and postcode to 2020
or text "discount" followed by your EIN, mobile number, name and postcode to 2020
You will receive a confirmation text back that says you will be notified when your request is processed.
The F&F discount can also be applied to simo contracts and PAYG accounts but at all times the contracts must be taken directly with O2 (no 3rd party resellers) and notable exclusions always apply to new iPhone launches (check T&C's for full details).

The answer is not simple. First, are these images in the Camera Roll or the Photos app? Next, do you have Photo Stream enabled? Also, do you back up your phone to your computer or to iCloud, or to both?
If you have Photo Stream enabled then the images have already been distributed to anyone who is subscribed. Nothing that I can think of that you can do about that. The rest of this post assumes that Photo Stream was never turned on.
If the images are in your Camera Roll you can delete them from the Camera app. The won't go anywhere, however, they will still be in your backups.
If you back up to your computer using iTunes you can go to iTunes Preferences, Devices tab, and delete your backups. After deleting all of them, and also after you have deleted the images from the Camera Roll, do a new backup.
After deleting the backups do a Secure Delete of deleted files on your computer. On a Mac you can do this with Disk Utility; have it erase deleted files. On Windows you need to get a 3rd party "shredder" app.
If you back up to iCloud on the phone go to Settings/iCloud - Storage & backup - Manage Storage. Tap on each backup and delete it.
If you have photos in the Photos app that are NOT in the Camera Roll album you need to connect your phone to iTunes, click on the Photos tab, uncheck all of them that you don't want (or uncheck Sync Photos if you want all of them gone), then sync.
Then repeat all of the steps above.

Friends and family mobile discount

Hi,
I'm looking at renewing my contract for the unlimited package along with line rental saver, I have up until now also had Friends and family mobile bolt on applied free each year to my account, however, I have recently been in contact with BT about renewing and they advised that calls to mobiles are a lot cheaper now than what they use to be and that the Friends and family mobile bolt on is no longer available to order could someone clarify this?

Friends and Family mobile isnt worth paying for- unless you makes lots of calls to mobiles during the day.
If you make calls to mobiles mainly in the evening then you wouldnt need the mobile add-on as it would work out cheaper on a standard calling plan.

How can I create a button to open email client and allow the user to e-mail pdf to a friend?

I need to find a way to let our members share our marketing pdf files with their friends as an email attachment. I can only seem to find a way to send a mailto to a specific address. I am thinking that the form is the only way to create that possibility, but would be open to any help even if not by a form.

Thanks you but I want the end user to be able to open my pdf file from my website and email it as an attachment to their family and friends. ( no specific email address assigned) I tried adding a empty mailto tag and it opens the email client, but no attachment. I don't think I am making my question understandable and maybe it is not possible to do this in Acrobat.

Why are profile pictures of friends and family not displaying in my facebook anymore

Something has happened to the display of friends and family profile pictures when they post. It is just written text and I cannot get their picture to display in conjunction with post as it was before.

*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.

Is there now no concept of the old Friends and Family where you nominated some landline numbers, a mobile number and an international number to get discounted calls?
I'm happy to be told this was discontinued (probably years ago), but if not where are they listed?

Hi there, just recently come back to Bt and have unlimited evening and weekend with friends and family mobile deal call plan.
Does this apply to all the mobiles I call, or do we have to register the numbers to get the discounted calls ?

I have found out that since my last experience with F&F, the F&F mobile discount is automatically updated with usage, and F&F telephone directory no longer exists.

Hi there,
I recently offered this deal to a number of my friends and family and my Mother took me up on the offer and went with BT Infinity. Great news! At the time she placed the order however, BT Infinity wasn't available in our area so she would have normal copper broadband installed. She was told at the time that she could upgrade when BT Infinity became available.
The problem is, now BT Infinity has become available (mere weeks from the origional purchase of the offer) and we cannot find anyone to contact about upgrading. We have spoken to a number of different people, firstly the BT.com helpline have told us that she will have to pay full price to upgrade, which isn't ideal.
Then they went on to tell her that I would need to authorise the upgrade on her account? (baffling) I rang up to speak to someone regarding this and they told me that wasn't the case and that she can simply ask for an upgrade. I also phone the employee helpline number and they told me a similar thing. After getting nowhere with either of these I emailed the address that sent the origional offer, but i'm yet to have a reply.
To be honest we're both a bit lost and fed up with the whole thing.
If anyone can offer any help or support with this I would be extremely greatful.

Opening balance and closing balances for discounts?

I have a typical sceanario where in
opening balance for discounts 10,000 (balance of last month)
actual discounts from the sales order 5,000
manual upload is from flat file 2,000
closing balance is 7,000 (which is opening balance + manual upload - actual discounts)
opening and closing balance needs to be calculated, how to calculate nor handle this on every month?
level of granularity of the data is
sku, month, rebate category and rebate amount?

What is the extractor you are using?
What are the KFs ?
what are the selection parameters that you want to enter at the reporting level?
is it the report related to FI AR. do you want to display the values based on the customer -->profitcenter?
Bcoz we had a same requirement where our requirement was global recievables aging report in which the report need to display opening bal, sales,adjustment,colelction and closing balance and the aging values.
here what we did is changed the modeling of the DSO and infocube.
we had used non-cumulative KF in order to calculate closing balance and from that derived opening balance and again create a new formula to get the closing balance.
if you can be specific with your requirement hope can help you with your report.

I have the same problem on my iPhone4. It is obviously a bug in the software. Once it pops out I am locked out of my phone. I can't even begin to describe the frustration this causes. All that stuff about holding down the buttons is useless. the phone won't even shut off. I can take a screen shot like that or go to voice control. Even when I got to a wifi connection, I can't get on. This app blocks everything else. This is a serious bug and can have serious consequences. The only thing my phone would do is go to voice control and let me play iTunes or phone people. Some smart phone hey?

Have a Friends and Family plan. I have unlimited data and want to keep it. Questions on what I can and can not do with account changes.

So I am on Friends and Family 2000minutes and unlimited Text.
4 phones.
My phone has Unlimited Data and Hotspot
Other 3 do not have any data.
I am curious what I can do and can't do that will keep keep the plan as is and not force things to share everything.
I am allowed to have 5 phones under this plan. I am curious about adding and deleting phones.
I did try and add a 5th phone. When I tried to activate a 5th phone online it would not let me do it. Tried to get me to change plans.
Here are a few scenarios that I see coming up in the future.
I would like to add a 5th phone. My father has an account and I would like to roll him into my plan instead of his own account. I have already done this once before many years ago with no problem with 2 of the lines that I currently have. Is this possible or is that enough to trigger the move share everything scenario.
Second. how about removing a line from my plan?
One of my numbers is for an 18YO that wants to be more independent and have their own account. Can I down the road either transfer that line and number to its own account which would be share everything (I do understand that). Or can I delete that line from the account without triggering the share everything scenario?
Also it seems when I look online I can change data plans currently three phones are on data block. Can I actually change them to a data plan within the Friends and family or is the Share everything scenario triggered. What about if I change them to a smart phone from their basic/feature phone. I know I can't get unlimited data but can I still get them on my friends and family tiered data plan?

yes to everything; you can add a line (up to 5 total for Family Share), drop a line, upgrade a basic line to a smartphone (and then add a tiered data plan) and stay on your current calling plan ... it may be easier done in your local Corporate Verizon store, though ... just be sure they don't try to switch you to Share Everything if that's not what you want
