O2 Refunds - How Long
So in April I finally had enough of o2's DREADFUL network. A network where of you were on the edge of 4g then calls and texts would fail. A network where you may see h+ on your phone but with no capacity behind it, it wouldn't work. A network where so many areas had no signal at all. A network who's coverage checker is so out of touch that people are complaining to the ASA.
Still, BT & EE beckoned for my 3 mobiles and 1 tablet. Not looked back. Signal much better and h+ works.
Of course I followed the advice from those on here and left my direct debit in place. My o2 mobile went from contract to payg. That was in April. However on the 8th June and with over £50 in credit I decided to ask for a refund of most of my credit. No problem said o2. Refund requested. I watched my bank account but no refund came. O2 didn't believe me and insisted I send them copies of my bank statements to prove I hadn't received the funds (yes every transaction - so glad they didn't see the ones from Kinky Gear Ltd - Amsterdam lol).
Earlier this week, having been over a month and despite repeated emails to senior management in o2, I had to resort to advising I would apply to the Small Claims Court as the refund STILL hasn't come. It finally arrived yesterday, one month and 7 days.
Why is this acceptable? O2 are quick enough to take your money. We have seen on here o2 are quick enough to destroy credit ratings even though they make little effort to recover debt yet when it comes to paying their bills??????
I am glad I left o2. Since Telefonica ton over they have destroyed it and Ronan Dunne has much to answer for.

Welcome to the discussions!
Open iPhoto as you normally would
Click the File menu at the upper left of the screen near the Apple icon
Click +Browse Backups+ (It may take some time for backups to load if you are using wireless)
Using the scale at the right of the screen, go back to a date when you feel that you had the images on your computer. (It may take some time to do this if you are using wireless)
Navigate through iPhoto to locate your images
Click Restore at the lower right of the screen
Hopefully you will also post your question in the iPhoto forum as the experts over there frequently answer questions about this very subject and can provide far more assistance than we can here. -

The charge you would be seeing is a "Authorization Hold" on your funds, it isn't an amount that Apple has taken out of your account, it is so they know you have adequate funds to cover the goods that you are purchasing. It can take up to a month for this "Authorization Hold" to be removed.

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.
Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c (paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine). -

I refunded the buyer, but the buyer's refund it PENDING, how long does this take?
The title is my question. The seller paid for an item I sold him, but later decided he did not want that item and I refunded him but he has not got the refund yet. He has shown he it says "pending", how long do refunds take? Also, these funds were all from PayPal balance. Thanks for your time if you can provide an insight, it is very appreciated
If he sent a bank funded Instant Transfer payment, then two things happened simultaneously:
- PayPal sent a request to their bank for the funds for the transaction. It would take 3-7 business days for funds to arrive from their bank.
- PayPal paid you up front instantly, so that you would not delay in processing their order.
When refund or cancellation occurs for that payment within a few days of it being sent, the funds that PayPal paid up front are returned.
However, the funds from their bank account are still in transit. They haven't reached their PayPal account yet.
As soon as those funds clear, they are available for your buyer to use or withdraw. -

I believe that this is a software problem because often I get a GPS signal inhouse and in the wood, but from one second to the other N97 lost the GPS signal. And this in the best weather condition under free sky. Sometimes gps signal works for 15 minutes, then the signal will drop every minute or so.
The current position on map is shift (past) abaout 40-50 meters from the real position, so its unable to use.
The calculated speed is always changing between 0 and the current speed.
I have updated phone to de newes software and firmware also to ne newest maps also has hard reseted and reformatet and the problem ist still the same.
CAN NOKIA TELL US WHEN THIS BUG WILL BE FIXED, AND CAN NOKIA OFFER US A REFUND.
I have payed a lot for N97 and alot for the navigation licence and a lot for accesoires and a lot for the traffic security assistance. So I want a working phone! I dint have payed money for e alpha-stadium phone.
If this is realy the quality of nokia phone, then It is the latest phone I have buyed from nokia.
By the way, the phone has many many many many other bugs as described in this forum.

If I switch off the option "Maps improvment" (which SENDS DATA TO NOKIA!!!) the the drop outs are fewer. But evreytime the position on maps is shift about 40-50 Meters from right position. Could be a shame recognize errors, but it's worst not to say nothing ant let the bad news of Nokia N97 spread for internet even if they want to sell a Nokia N97 Mini in the near future.
I understand and supose that we will no have no new version till september because we are in the last week and july and the activity in august decrease really high... but at least someone of Nokia could tell something about this problems and if it's possible all the other problems.

If I went to an Apple store in the UK with my 16GB iPod touch 5th gen and the receipt (do I 100% need a receipt?), how long after the purchase date am I allowed to get it replaced for the more expensive 32GB version? Is it the same as getting a refund (Jan 7th)?
Not having a camera on the back side of the iPod is just ridiculous, I don't honestly believe the majority of people would prefer to have a camera on the front rather than the back. I'd rather just get it upgraded.

You would need to sell it privately and put whatever you get for it towards what you want to buy. -
How long does it take to get a credit
Long story short, I ordered a projector back in decemeber and ended up not needing it. I refused the delivery as I was instructed to do by the bestbuy customer service rep I talked to. The item was received by the bestbuy warehouse at the end of december. I still have not recieved credit for the item. I have called numerous times and have had a couple of case numbers give to me. Every couple of weeks that I call i'm told that the previous person did something wrong but the person I'm talking to this time is doing it correclty and give it 10 days and I should have a credit.
Needless to say I haven't recieved the credit. The most recent converstion I had I was told that my ticket is waiting on corporate verificiation but there is no telling how long that will take.

How long does it take to get the "Nonreturn fee" back?
The charger I got with my Iphone didn't work when I got it out of the box, so, I called and of course, they did the normal thing. Charge me the "deposit/non-return fee", sent me parts, I sent them back and the tracking on the package says it says it arrived on the 18th to them, within the 10 days for them to recieve it to get my fee back. However, the status of my repair still says "Return Pending" and it has been sitting there for the past 6 days. I haven't called to harass anyone yet but I wanted to know if this experience is typical of returning parts or if I should call?
Well, only banking business days count, so it has only been sitting there 3 days by that (19th, 20h and 21st). I have no idea how long it takes, but have had credit card refunds take up to a full business week or so to process at times (5-7 business days) from various companies.
Even a simple verification hold can sit online as "pending" on my accounts for at least 3 or 4 days sometimes.
If you are concerned, then call Apple and ask about it. -
My iTunes account as hacked and credits drained through in app purchases. I changed my password and changed my credit card to NONE and was told by Customer Service at Apple that they would disable my account, refund the stolen funds and reactivate me. Does anyone know how long it takes to reactivate a temporarily disabled iTunes account?
